As a Ravens Fan , he's one of the most clutch players I've seen , I'll never forget the Superbowl return TD , an the Mile High Miracle
Hell yah
He won us a superbowl with Anquan Boldin.
"Jacoby Jones *HAS IT AT THE TWENTY"* will be burned into the happier sections of my memory until the day I die. If he isn't in the Ravens' Ring of Honor yet, we should put him there.
Bruh!!!! That's one of thee most iconic moments. In SB history.
He should’ve been Super Bowl MVP over Flacco. Who else has a receiving and kick return TD in the Super Bowl?
“I’m born and raised from New Orleans. During Katrina, the lights didn’t go out in the Superdome.” That look after was priceless
Like he new shit was suspect! Lol powers to be control everything! Smh
@@eagleeye7581nahhh New Orleans just janky asf 😂
As a ravens fan, I will NEVER forget how amazing he was that season His returning was unreal. And his deep pass abilities were just insane and so timely when we needed it
Still disappointed he wasn't the Super Bowl MVP. Would've deserved it and noone would've argued.
@@BustDaMove I mean, Joe had one of, if not the greatest, playoff run in nfl history
@@FecalMatador Not arguing you there. And Joe deserved it too. But it's Super Bowl MVP, not Playoffs MVP. And Jacoby did arguably more in the SB. But since 9 out of 10 times it's going to the winning QB , it has lost much of it's meaning anyways. Quite pointless title IMO.
@@BustDaMove true unless ur not a qb
He’s a guy who nobody knew that he can play. Great returner and an underrated receiver
6'4 with track speed is kinda hard for "nobody" to see.
People knew him on the Texans
He's always been known for speed and being a pretty good returner had problems with drops but he was good for gettin by people
Ps a lot of people knew considering he made it to the nfl
"Touchdown Jacoby Jones. How does that happen in the Denver secondary?" are words forever etched into memory
Only Dan Deirdorf
I was in disbelief with how Denver allowed him to get behind them like that
Greasy ball placement and wr speed
One of the most underrated players of all time
Love how Ray was always right behind inspiring him.
true leader
He’ll always have keys to Baltimore. Plus he was the real Super Bowl MVP.
Nah, not really. Look at joe stats
@@ricardomartinez479 he scored as a WR and as. KR. If you lose the special teams game, you lose the game. That very impact changed the entire game because they never kicked to him again. He impacted the game on another level.
@@11jcarter yea Flacco was going crazy too though. Alot of this team was in their prime during that superbowl so I can really think of 4 guys that could have gotten it.
@@ricardomartinez479 QB bias
Boldin.
Man Ray Lewis is a hell of a motivator, a true leader of men at 7:51, chills bruh...
True Story, man was speaking from the soul
I'm remember that line. There is no fear man. Do what you do!
Jacoby is the reason why the Ravens won a Superbowl! We put the ball in Jacoby hands.
100%
I loved him here in houston. I never blamed him for a muffed punt half way through the game. My texans had way too many opportunities to win that game and it was a good one. I remember Arian foster playing well and all. It just wasn't in the cards for us. I felt proud watching that superbowl and shoved it in alot of texans fans.
Ngl if Ray told me “there is no fear” i wouldnt be scared ever again lmao
😂😂😂😂runnin thru a brick wall
This man was a baller & GREAT story teller😂
10:18 simple but deadly speech delivery. You can tell they meant that, especially after watching the game
“I was In there looking at Beyoncé I ain’t even gonna lie to you” 😂😂 bros a legend
Funny how Texans released him, then a year later he's a champion😂😂
😭
That's an ongoing theme in Houston sports. Leave and you're on a championship team the next year or 2 minimum
@@Bro_DT_KYE 😂😂what you telling me is cardinals Super Bowl champions? #dhop #JJ
Remember when the broncos went too the super bowl w/Peyton bthey had allot of Texans on that team also
@@raulcastillo1349 lol we had Owen Daniel's come up big in the postseason. Shiloh Keo and Antonio Smith gave good minutes too... PJ Tucker just won. Paul almost won. Westbrick about to win with the Lakers.
Jacoby Jones you will never be forgotten in Baltimore bro. One of the greatest return men I've ever laid my eyes on.
One of my favorite players to ever play for the team. He wasn't with us very long, but he did more than enough!
Man, Jacoby muffing that punt vs the Ravens was the best thing that happened us. He brought the charisma we needed that year to get the ring. Suggs, and Ray were out that year, killed our motivation, but they kept fighting.
That super bowl was such an underrated game. NO ONE talks about it enough!!
That shit was lit omm that Jacoby fall catch with the dead leg spin Fav football moment ever
I love how he describes the mile high throw. Like nah he ain’t gonna throw. And then looks up and sees it coming to him. Just shows his skill and the amount of trust that Joe and the entire team had in him. He was the go to guy for the big plays.
Whatever Joe shortcomings were. He made up for them being able to sling it and often being clutch in big games
Jacoby Jones was a delight to watch--especially in a Baltimore Ravens uniform.
This man was from my home city. Big respect.
As a Ravens fan, he was a delight to watch
Hell yah
"Just accept the jersey and the check!" Classic Ray line it's bigger fish to fry and we fried it up Good Dat year
To this day the Mile High Miracle was the greatest sports moment I’ve watched live
NFL Throwback could we get a career highlight video of Marvin Harrison, Isaac Bruce, Nnamdi Asomugha or Anquan Boldin?
Or Torry Holt, Andre Johnson, or Julius Peppers
Namdi bro yes
Nhamdi was a free safety and became the best db in the league.......until he got the money /bag. The defensive coordinator was Rob Ryan at the time.
@@rexgamewell he was a shut down corner 1st
@@ajburrr Holt is my favorite player all time. Only he could have 6 straight seasons of 1300 receiving yards. Not even Jerry in the West Coast O could do that.
Shit almost made me tear up man. I was 12 watching those playoff games. Great memories and a great time to be a ravens fan and it still is. Lamar and company gonna get us another one I feel it.
3:10 ravens have NEVER had a bad locker room. Ever.
This man got such a great personality and a truly astonishing player
Man what a time. What a great! Glad this documentary was made.
ok, im sorry, jacoby is a legend but if youre gonna make this video then i demand Anquan Boldin be next. best ravens WR ever
That punt block/punt return story is so awesome
THIS MAN IS A LEGEND IN BMORE AND WE APPRECIATE EVERYTHING HE HAS DONE FOR OUR TEAM!!! SALUTE JACOBY, YOU ARE GOATED BRO!!!
“Be yourself, just stay out of trouble” same thing Steve smith said that’s how you know Ravens will continue to be great!
Had this guy as a top pass catcher in IDR which old school PS2 Madden, but he was LEGENDARY for my team. Top receiver year after year. Glad to see him getting some recognition rn
These throwback videos are bringing back awesome memories from my childhood Growing up I always looked forward to watching Jacoby Jones, Devin Hester, Dante Hall, Josh Cribbs, and Darren Sproles return kicks Those guys were electrifying on special teams
What an era to live in. 2 of those names you listed (Jacoby Jones and Darren Sproles) are Super Bowl champions.
And don't forget about Brian Mitchell to on the special teams he was also a lot of fun to watch during his amazing career
I think Jacoby Jones shows you that you don't need to be on a team for a long time to be considered a icon for the organization. Jacoby is always a Raven and he only played for Baltimore for 2 years
Jacoby will always be my favorite player. I still love to watch him in these videos. Thank God Texans gave him up, so glad he ended up in Purple, he brought so much to this team. Raven forever!
Man I miss this dude so much. We'll never forget you Jacoby!
underrated player, hilarious person
Ray sayin "Lord bless u lord" had me weak😂
Man, I loved JJ, boy had the clutch gene for us time and time again, something we're missing right now.
I remember watching the Mile High Miracle game, was literally sitting in front of the tv with my head down and I look up and see Flacco bomb that shit to Jacoby and all I here is Caught!!! Chills.
"gave 'em that heh-heh...track meet" gotta love this dude's swagger
That little dance is so damn good!!! Lmao 🤣
What a magical season it was 💜🖤💜🖤
As a ravens fan this man is a legend in Baltimore he is the definition of clutch and I don't know why we ever let him go
He really did kill tht choppa city juke tho😂😂
Jacoby Jones Should’ve Won SuperBowl MVP
RESPECT TO THIS MAN..
jacoby brought us so much joy. thank you man. Ravens Legend.
I remember in Baltimore we all thought Jacoby was gonna get Superbowl MVP that year
He’s my super bowl mvp miss u jacoby 😔😔
This was so good. Love hearing from Jacoby about all those big plays too!
My gawwwd that was a hell of a season!!!!
He was an electric player! ⚡️
Jacoby was so damn electric. So fun to watch.
I love that quote " it didn't say nothing about the prettiest it said the toughest" classic
Always loved Jones. Then he became a raven my team. He was amazing
As a patriots fan, great respect to the ravens... All these playoffs games we're hard to play in that era. and that afc championship Game was brutal.. We we're punched in the mouth. Great championship run by the ravens.
Im a steeler fan and i always loved amd feared jacoby. He was the hero them Baltimore wins. He singlehandedly won games. I was happy he went to the steelers for a year
As a ravens fan he was absolutely amazing that entire year. I didn’t really know who he was either when they got him. But it’s extremely rare to find a return guy that dangerous but also being able to run routes and catch the ball downfield. Normally you just get one or the other. Not both on the level he had those skills at.
Forever one of my favorite ravens of all time!! Everytime somebody tries to say he was a mediocre wr I call up this yr and all those big plays I remember like it was yesterday watching that playoff run on a 13 in TV with an antenna on my bunk!! Forever a fan bro!! Flock4Life!!
“They was in there talking, I was looking at Beyoncé I ain’t gone lie to ya” 🤣🤣🤣🤣
I'll never forget you Jacoby, love you bro
I’m a ravens fan from Baltimore, I still love jacoby! But that power outage stiiiiiill brings back bad memories lol I knew right away that Vegas or somebody did that!! And now hearing him say them lights never went out during Katrina that just cements it in my mind!!!
jacoby jones as the longest kickoff return in super bowl histerey
I love how he always bring the ball out and shoot for more years “he was a big play maker hands down
Let’s go! Bmore where you at?! That 2011-2012 team was beast mode! That was fantastic getting the perspective from Jacoby. I bet the Texans were saaaaalty at the season he had.
As a Texan fan I never once though he lost us that game! We blew it. We can’t win a divisional game to save our lives. But You knew Jacobt was something special. We never had a return guy like him before or since. Can’t place one game on the dude. We had many chances to win that playoff game. And he proved the Texans organization wrong. Got him a ring and had a historic season. And I didn’t know he did it in his own hometown! Love this guy.
Loved watching Jacoby Jones play. You just knew he was gonna do something awesome when he had the chance!!! Can yall do Josh Cribbs next? Would love to hear from him.
"I guess it's gonna be called punt return from now on" I said "thank you" that is just great 😂
I remember and it's still amazing.
He an All Time Talent one of those players you want to stand up for on the sidelines
The beenie weenie was 🔥
“Even in Katrina the lights didn’t go out”🤣🤣
Always has a spot in my heart. And denvers i would assume lol thanks for the blown coverage Moore!!
This interview is GOLD.
Most AllPurpose Yards in Super Bowl History!! #Historic 🥇
Another fantastic “throwback vid” Excellent production - “Clutch Player Jacoby Jones!” Thank you for this..
Jacoby Jones was a real speedy badass that 109 yard kick return in super bowl 2012 vs 49ers you just knew it was over at the very start for real he did won a ring but man he was electrifying and awesome too
as a jags fan, i totally respect this man for everything he did for his teams. he was a nightmare for defense's
Shout out to Jacoby!!!
Jacoby is a Hero of Baltimore, without a doubt. If he wants to come back and play, we could really use some non-injured receivers right now.
He was a hero for them even when he played for the Texans :(
🖤 💜 SUPER fun player to watch his entire career!!! Should’ve gotten Super Bowl MVP
Ravens fan here. This season..... This season right here, that team was undeniable. They were indominable. They were destined for greatness and Jacoby Jones was a very key part of that. I'll never forget this season. #RavensNation
Nothing but love.
Jacoby Jones got one of the sickest highlight videos on KZhead with that Cyhi The Prynce song Favorite Things
Couldn’t have won the Super Bowl that year without him. Jacoby Jones will always be among my favorite ravens for being as clutch as any raven ever. That’s saying a lot with legs like stover and tucker kicking for us.
shout out to my man Jacoby... keep stylin
A goated Raven. Miss him all the time.
Underrated player surprised he wasn't in the league longer. When utilized correctly he was unstoppable.
To win a superbowl in your city and to shine is truly special ya heard me 🖤💜🖤💜
One of my all time favorite Ravens.
11:34 “what are you doing man” Just let Ray do what he gotta do bruh Lol
Jacoby is one of my favorite players and I have his Jersey.
Yeahhhhhh Cob. You definitely tore the NFL up Bro.
I love his attitude
This was dope. He deserves this
He played one game on our Flag Football League back in the early 2000's, homie was cool as hell, i told him to do the Deion dance if he makes it to the NFL and boi did he, when i first saw him in person i was amazed how fast he was, man did i shed tears when he won the Superbowl, and in his hometown, much love and Respect to Jacoby and his Family!
