  • I’m a marlins fan. It’s so frustrating because none of this needed to happen. If they had just spent a bit this offseason, they would have floated around .500 and wouldn’t have had to begin ANOTHER Rebuild when the last one just ended.

    • Well since Bruce’s cheap and cares about business and not spending money on good hitters and pitchers I think he needs to sell the team because we always trade good players away for bad players that don’t pan out when does good players get called up they get traded and rinse and repeat. Now I’m a Phillies fan.

    • been a fan sent 1993 . yea i bet you was one of the type that supported bruce and jeter from the start. over miami billion air that try to buy them. and the Cubin minor league uniforms . that has nothing do with miami. stadium changes 80% under bruce suck. also dislike the logo and the remove of orange uniforms . that why their a tell of two types of marlins fans now days. under current owners marlins never avg above 14,000 per game. like old one 21,000 per game before he sold the team.

  • He's one of those talented but frustrating players. The kind that get GM's in a lot of trouble because you give up too much for his potential that he has trouble reaching. Kinda like a BJ Upton type IMO.

  • For that Royals trade it’s far more stereotypical of the Marlins to want non-40 man higher upside prospects rather than close to or in the big leagues guys so as a Royals fan the trade would more likely be something like Cayden Wallace, Carter Jensen, and 2 out of 3 of Kyle Isbel (if they want someone to replace Jazz in CF), Steven Cruz (high upside Reliever on the 40 man they can put right in their bullpen), or another non-40 man prospect not of the caliber of Wallace/Jensen.

  • The real question is, if he does go to a new team, will he play CF or could he go back to 2nd?

  • Jazz so overrated. His talent is not overrated, but people are taking his potential and what he’s projected to do way too literally. The past two years he’s been a league average bat, his only great “season” was 60 games in 2022. He does a lot of things well, defense, baserunning, but people are completely overrating his offense. He’s not a top 100 player although he has the potential to be. He’s 26 which is great but he’s also played in parts of 5 MLB seasons and just doesn’t seem to be taking any steps forward mainly due to injuries. He can be a great player but I think it would be really dumb for any team to bite on him right now, he has way too many red flags and holes in his game which I don’t think can be overlooked unless the marlins significantly lower their asking price.

    @seplays2280@seplays228011 күн бұрын
    • I agree. I do think he’s overrated. However, I think when you have a guy that can hit for power and speed, it’s well worth looking into.

    • From 2021-23, he played in 57% of the games. Why would any team overpay for the health risk? On top of that, while he is a power speed threat, he’s only averaged a 104 wRC+ going back to last year. He should cost something, but right now, he’s more on the low end imo.

  • As a Phillies fan, we dont need Jazz if we needed more offense Marsh would be in CF and Schwarber would be in LF or someone else. The Phillies needed defense which Johan provides tons of, right now I think Rojas plays similarly to Jackie Bradley Jr when on the Red Sox but Rojas is still young and could get better.

    @thatguyuknow1837@thatguyuknow183711 күн бұрын
    • Naaaaah can’t put Schwarber in LF

      @rhyde@rhyde11 күн бұрын
    • @rhyde I agree Schwarber shouldn't be in the field but he also does look a lot better when running the bases this year (again I would hate for Schwarber to play the field this year) To me it sounds like with your trade of Jazz to the Phillies, you're saying Rojas isn't hitting good enough, but Jazz will help that so if the Phillies want more offense trade a great fielder for a better hitter
