  • The owner isn’t lying. This car is bat out of hell scary fast. In 1992 I was looking at the 300zx, the Stealth, the 3000gt VR-4 and the Supra. The Supra had a high dealer mark up, so I never drove it. The Stealth R/T and the 3000gt all the electronics and repair costs worried me but I loved the rides. Now the RX-7 scared me. It was like a tight fitting (snug seats but I’m 6’3) go cart with a racing engine and it was only a Mazda Wankel turbo. With its light weight it felt so dangerously fast that I saw myself getting in trouble. It actually made me rethink everything and I got a Galant VR-4. I eventually in 1996 got the last 300zx but I never forgot how the RX-7 felt.

Also my father-in-law has a Chevelle that he used to drag race in the 70s, same story. Took it apart then life happened.
