My mom used to cook all of our meals on a wood stove ,and bake bread in the oven of that stove as well,even in the summer.I love watching this lady do her cooking and chores,makes me realize how hard my mom worked with very few modern appliances.We got an indoor bathroom when I was 7,and oh what a treat it was to have a nice hot bath in a big tub.lol..Our home was always spotless,my mother was a fanatic about cleaning.We always slept in pristine crisp sheets,and came home off the bus to something wonderful bubbling away on the stove for supper.These videos remind me how very lucky I was to grow up like this,just in a different spot in the world,rural Canada in the 1960s,and 70s.😊
I could literally watch video after video of Maria living as she does in those beautiful mountains, caring for her animals, cooking and singing. I live vicariously through her.
Caring for her animals? They kil those poor innocent animals!
@@siren369xstar8 She still has to care for them whether she consumes them or not!!!. Also, she obviously doesn't eat ALL her animals....Some are used for Cheese, EGGS and Milk To each their own. Respect others preference.

As for caring for her animals, I was referring to the dog and cat. When we go to the supermarket and buy meat, what are we buying? Dead animals!

I Noticed the great skills and passion this woman has for cooking real authentic good food🥑🥩. I didnt realise that Ukraine had such beautiful nature and food🥦🧄. Im Norwegian guy and a chef for 18 years now and have experienced a lot of different types of food but now i have a break from the working life. Nice video😃.
I'm always in awe of this woman's cooking skills from preparing the basic ingredients from scratch, the cooking process till the plating. She must have been brought up in a gorgeous family that respects household value.
It appears that she has this lifestyle down to a perfected science. She is amazing! With everything being homegrown, farm-raised and fresh from scratch, you can bet she is a phenomenal cook.

My Dad's family is Swiss German, and that menu of fried pork cutlets, creamy mashed potatoes, and pickled cabbage was served many times as I was growing up.On Mom's side of the family, there is some Ukrainian ancestry, too, so I enjoy watching your videos so much!

I’m pretty sure the video is sped up because people praised her for how fast she was working. Now it’s a bit artificial in my opinion and less enjoyable to watch it

The wording for this interesting video concerns me to a degree. Maria, through her talents in Ukraine life in the mountains, is much more than a girl. Maybe the title should read: 'Living alone in the mountains, she will cook a traditional lunch over fire'. She is due more respect than the word "girl". This whole series of mountain life is a joy to watch; such a talent she is. My early years in mid US in the flat lands was filled with farm life, industrial manufacturing, composing type for printing books and newspapers, learning about people and witnessing political circumstances and how life evolves. The sound of the little stream water really adds to the video along with closeups with the camera of different subjects. Thanks
