What will you use now? I still use a 15 year old Everglide (found new on ebay) but found no replacement
i tried this once, years ago. it just doesn't work out, and small dirt and things get in between. just a hassle to use, as annoying as smartphone protective foil. solid review, homie!
This almost seems like a rebranded 3M Precision mouse pad with adhesive backing, Apparently the original 3M Precision mouse pad from like 20 years ago was a uniquely great pad not matched by the modern models.

im currently refreshing my old sphex with V3 and if its just an update of old sphex, i can tell that its definitely noisier than soft pads, but its not obnoxious. somewhat like a pen on paper level.

@@darkbendover its either sphex v3 (coz its bigger than v2) or strider. They are comparable in terms of speed, but with slightly different dynamics. Ultimately, its down to your preference: plastic or cloth.
If its glued to my table for eternity how am i going to wash it. Dirt and moisture are its worst enemies right ?
For hardpad I think u can use damp microfiber clothe (soaked warm water) and wipe it gently.
its not glue, its like bitum that asphalt made of. its super sticky, but you can peel it off the table, wash and it wont loose it's grip.
@@angeltensey doesn't the super sticky side wear off if washed ?
@@lkline000 nope. here is the thing: the only reason you may want to take this pad off is to reposition it on your table. the plastic surface doesnt require washing at all- you only need to clean it with something like screen cleaning spray sometimes and thats it. the sticky side is cleanable as well, but i wouldnt apply heat on it like hot water due to nature of this surface. bitum is a handy material until you noticeably heat it because it can melt.
