Lukas Ritzer lmaooo
I cringe everytime they say that 😩
We'll do a simple one now...
Wait watch watch wait watch hey wait watch here look here wait watch
lol
I lay awake at night terrified that this man is wandering around with a power level the same as Dr strange
Underrated comment
This is an avengers level threat
Or even worse, a power level the same as Shaggy
I can do all he can do. Pay close attention and you can see
Image him practicing the table flip for hours on end, underwater.
hhahahha
store owner must be pissed that he just stabbed and ripped through a random menu
Lol more likely he‘d be pissed that he stabbed a tablecloth and table, not a piece of paper.
Better than having David make Annabelle visit u later that night
I'm sure they were compensated for it and even compensated for him filming there
Those items increased in value, they just got blained!
Screw the menu. The table is fucked.
The best part was holding his blood in after he sliced his finger.
When he stabbed that card though. "Hiya, hiya!" 😂

2:17 David slices through his finger. You can see the blood dripping down. He writes about this in his book Mysterious Stranger. I believe he might have slight but permanent damage from it.
Yeah he cut a nerve
I don't see any blood there.
@@PeterFerenczy 2:32 when he lifts up the knife you can see blood on his pinky
Of course he did. Demon magic doesn't work without blood.
Most great magicians work in teams... No magician is great by themselves. Props.
8 under the menu probably the oldest trick in the book
@@mcfcguvnors sorry but I don’t see a card under the menu when he first gets it handed to him
@@ryan_spear off course you dont see, hes extremely skilled with cards and hes doing his thing without you noticing it
so how did he make him choose the 8 in the first place?
@@KITE_17 my guess is 0:51 when he touch the cards, he swap the whole deck into 8s. It’s the only time he touched them.
You owe him a table
+bubby bumble and a new card
And blanket.
Wrong, the hole in the table was also part of the trick on the owner.
I’m sure that restaurant sold that table and made a lot of money off it
look closer ... the table has no hole
Just another innovative idea david blaine has in presenting that trick lmao
I wasnt ready for this level of aggression
His pinkie is bleeding after the second stab
xtoot Yes it ruined his pinky forever he still has a crooked pinky because of this one
@@platinumpineapple9943 ouch.
Great observation, I had to watch it again after reading this comment
Part of the trick, you have to make a blood pact with the devil for this one.
@Nikos Kalantas there's a video where he says it caused permanent damage. I can't remember where but I remember watching it
amazing ‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️
He making me believe things that I never thought I'd believe in
I love how he just threw the box and the packaging and the cards what not, into those old ladies plate.
1:04 me and the bois looking at “Her”
the most impressive bit was how he kept his cool after gashing his finger open on the knife
underrated comment, his pinky is gashed up
Wise guys like magic tricks too...
Amazing
in this trick he damaged his pinkie losing some nerves
That is the blood he sacrificed for the trick probably
Nice catch lol. He was definitely bleeding
Yeah I was about to say this.
@@oops.4970 yeah he has told the story aswel
Making eye contact with a "random customer", who is in a position to view the card, then signals the card number to David. Notice how he specifically gestured to the area that he would be facing? He did it not once, but twice and made it appear he was gesturing randomly, which was actually the power of suggestion. Dude is awesome, been able to figure a few of his tricks out, but most not so much. Guess that's why he is a master at his craft. Ps, the menu passed to him had the replacement card, noticed how he clasped it in a very certain position?
it's funny that you wrote this whole thing while being so obviously wrong about every point
When David Blaine says shuffle so you try to impress 0:36
i remember watching this back in the day! everyone here grew up with television! and the great depression
My guess is he had someone in the crowd see the card, then put a different 8 of diamonds in the menu then hand it to him.
i think you’re right. if you look closely at the menu when he pulls it out, you see a white shape the size of a card
@Alfredo Barragan 502 the top page of the menu is 2 pages glued on the one side but on top where he pulled the knife out had the opening.
Agree, he could take the menu, that was on the table without asking :) I think each time David Blain asks for something it's a part of plan, like with Jeff Bezos and calculator
If you look there was no card under the menu where he stabbed it
@@yossifeldman1742 it was in the menu, not under it.
When I get bored I watched Blaine
he looks like he's disappointed with himself when the trick works
He's just waiting for the day that his magic runs out and is finally absolved of the responsibility
It’s because he stabbed his finger
He had mirrors in the room, that's why he had the guy go in a circle with the card. And he has small marks on the backs of the cards that only he recognizes, which tell him which cards are which.........he saw the markings on the back of the card that was the 8 of diamonds before he put the menu over it, and then stabbed it........he had seen the 8 of diamonds earlier in the hidden mirror in the room.
The best card trick of his career.
I dunno, he has a lot of tricks like these
You must be joking
It's actually super straight forward, the cameraman sees the card, tells the guy who brings the menu, the menu contains the card, he stabs through the menu where he's placed the card, easy.
@Yusuf Islam it's inside the menu...
@Yusuf Islam I mean... It's inside the menu. What do you mean "wrong again"? Why do you think he tears the knife through the menu? Why would he even involve the menu in the trick? No offense, but are you stupid?
2:10 how he held the menu, is where he stabbed and where the card is hidden haha
I needadigitalpenciltowritemyrealname most likely he had an accomplice because he let the others show what the card is.
I noticed that
High Gamer must be hidden inside the menu, not 100% sure how but there should be a trick behind this haha thats what make magic fun :)
@@highgamer4957 no they're not, they're in the same positions before and after stabbing
Lol u gonna pay for the table and the menu for sure 😂😂😂
You just need to target that face on the menu where the card is hidden. 😁
Junior Soprano's long lost brother in the background
he is so amazing
1:27 Dude in the back was like “heheh yeaaaaaah buddy i saw it”
Absolute GOAT.
That's awesome. I dont even want to know how he did it. Imagination and the unknown keep my mind young.
I'd also like to keep your mind sharp. Really amazing magic tricks are fantastic, but camera tricks, aren't. Unfortunately, that's all this is - a camera trick, there's no magic. To make matters worse, so many of the "people" for these street tricks were entirely in on it.
Fuhq Ewe Is this really true? I thought maybe it’s all camera trick and staged like you said, but is there any proof?
@@andylee4245 Absolutely, this is factually established and well known. Criss Angel did the same thing. It's why I like Penn and Teller so much - Penn has made it clear that he does not consider camera tricks and plants as ''magic'', because it isn't.

@@FuhqEwe Thanks for the thorough comment. That Criss Angel video was ridiculous lol
I think I figured this trick out. So when he has the guy show everyone the card more than likely David has someone working for him that's sitting in the direction of where the menu came from, they slipped the card into the menu in between the top menu page that is a double page glued on one side. When he stabs the menu the card is sitting in the center of the doubled page and pulls the menu down and had the card slide out through the top of the menu where the opening is. Cool trick but Sucks he cut his pinky finger though...
You are an absolute genius
Yes, at 2:10 you can see he is holding something over part of the menu, you can see part of the 8 of diamonds card, but how did he get that little piece of white paper off of it i wonder? maybe it wasn't glued and he was able to drop it with his fingers.
How do you know he cut his pinky?
@@PoeCompany if you watch it in slow motion you can see the blood and his pinky and he also talks about it on a different video.
@@zachwillson7645 bro there wasn't any 8 of diamond both hands are empty 2:08 fyi

Took me a second but gotta admit that was pretty nice, or should I say KNIFE 😎
Nice
One does not simply watch 1 david blaine video
Classic
At the end of every david blaine video "How did you do that" I tell you what dont bother asking 😁
Very cool david. Now you have to compensate the table.
I like these magic tricks but I can't help but think how easy most tricks can fall apart if someone asks to examine things, like the menu, for example
What would happen
Finally, magic for older people!
The waiter did his job well
Haha i hate the sound effect he created when he knifed the table aha
Holy Cow !!!!🐄 He ruined a menu , Deck of cards, table, and possibly a steak knife, in one Fell Swoop!! AMAZING!! 😳
And his little finger - he cut it with the second stab.
WTFFFFFF MANNN????!!!!!!
David just ruined the table haha
The card was on the back of the menu in the beggining lol
Yeah you see it fall out as he places it
but how would he know what card they chose?
@@passerby4278 the cameraman sees the card, he tells the "waiter" who brings the menu. Fairly simple.
if u slowed the video then u will see no card was hidden in the menu
That was a lot of destruction for one card trick.
The real magic was how the Random stranger smoothly opened the new card plastic tab in one go.
The card trick that fucked up his pinki for ever ...still my fav hands tho
@Nikos Kalantas when he stabs the table, his hand slips and he cuts his pinky
When that guy showed his card to everybody, assistant of blaine saw the card and placed it in the menu
wow. !!!!
batman shows up! "that's child play, want to see me disappear?"
spoiler : once the man chose the card, he showed it to everyone. there is a second deck in which the same person who gave the menu also picked out the mans card. the shuffling and all that was just time to stall for the card being placed in the menu. you’re welcome
omg, sherlock holmes lives in youtube comments rn?
But he turned the menu over, so you could see there was no card on either side 🧐
@@DubsOwnly sleight of hand
Benjamin Collins no, I think the TS was onto something, however the menu looks to be one piece of paper folded in half. So if you put 2 menus together and the card in between them that would make the most sense. Look how he reveals the card, he doesn’t lift it straight up, he pulls the menus towards himself to cut through the menus. If he was to lift it up, the card would still be trapped between the menus. Everyone there watching would also have been very familiar with the single paper menu folded in half.
@@DubsOwnly The menu has a flap on the inside where the card was stored. it's partially attached to the menu so it stays attached to the menu when he pulls it away.
the card was inside the menu and I think the menu has a thin layer of a paper designed to be as a pocket where the card was put inside and when he stabbed the menu at 2:20 he pulled the menu back in order to get the card out of it . -stop the video at 2:10 , there you can see a strange blank rectangle on the middle of the menu where the knife hits
Criss Angel possessed him in the last part of the trick lmao
🤯🤯🤯
Whut
very simple trick
The person who passed him the menu has the right card put in it, obviously.
Ya that actually could be right, you can see his hand the way he holds the menu seems like hes gripping something on the bottom. He does this with both hands, one thumb on top and 4 fingers on bottom
@@theawesomegamer123 You could also see white space on the menu in the shape of a card lmao
@@monkpkey No... Only if you are ten
Ok but at 2:10 you can see the inside of the menu and keep in mind he was holding the other side of the menu before this, so the card should be on the left side, but I don't see any card. Also notice that he only covers the ENDS of the menu with his hands, but he stabs more towards the middle, yet the knife goes through the middle of the card which was oriented differently than how he would've concealed it by the way he was holding the menu before
@@1niphu how would the blank white card magically turn into an 8 of diamonds?
Am I the only one who saw transparent card / nylon at 1:39 while the guy shuffling cards? :o
Yes only one
I see it too
Watch in slow motion its not transparent it just appears to be like one bcoz of ambient lighting
@@amitjain4249 Correct. It's a normal card, catching glare from the light.
‘Here’s the table bill sir’ ‘But I didn’t pay for anythi....’ ‘You put a knife in it’
"Now dats a lot of damage"
"aghhh, eughhh"
This one is easy. Someone in the audience saw which card it was, got a another 8 of hearts, put it in the menu, handed it to David. U can clearly see that he is hiding the card under the menu as he places it on the table
Where's this at? Boca Raton?
Takes menu and knife off..was that the sandwich you ate earlier?
Imagine if someone told him that we dont need the menu, just find it now
Or if one of the people sitting around the table passed him a normal menu without the duplicate card before his stooge had had a chance to pass him the prepared one!
It’s definitely in the menu. Otherwise why wouldn’t he just stab without it. But he makes a whole thing of talking about the cards being face down, shuffled and covered from him and then adds the menu on top of that. The trick is more in the story than anything else. I think one can basically deduce what he is doing from the opposite of what he is saying.
He cut himself pretty badly with that steak knife on the second stab. His hand slipped down the handle and he almost cut his pinky off. Anybody else catch it..?
No tables were harmed in the filming of this video
Restaurant Manager: Nice trick. But I want you to get out, sir please. Thank you.
A carta tá no meio do meni, por isso que ele rasga o meni ao invés de tira-lo
I mean he ruined the table , the menu and dinner in 2 minutes......... kool trick
And his pinky
wait who paid for damage that he doing with the table.
The card was in the menu
The trick is all in the menu, the menu is doubled holding the 8 inside thats why he rips the menu when he puts the knife threw. He got the 8 from his apprentice who saw the 8 and put it after he saw what card the guy picked. If he were just to stab and lift the knife with the menu all you would see on the back is the menu. Thats why he ripped it from the menu.
Very thoughtful solution. But how did he stab it so that no other cards get stabbed along with the 8 diamond? 🤔
@@t.n.9508 2:10 you see the open gap, he places the menu on top of it lined up with the front of the menu logo which has the 8. He missed the first time thats why he stabbed twice. The front menu logo is his guide
@@t.n.9508 BTW I know 95% of all magic tricks done.
Can i have a menu please. Of course its a setup guys =) But nice that you all have fun
What! How!
I prefer slight of hand skills more than this. But the showmanship is good. Plants and helpers isn’t my thing.
Everybody but the manager looks amused. After the footage was cut the manager pulled David Blaine aside and said you owe me a menu, tablecloth and a table.
The card was inside the menu 🥵
soooooo did they add that tablecloth to the bill or what?
The magician was actually the waiter. Waiter prepared a table prop too.
Ok know this trick each card ,s back is hightly illustrated if you watch from back its will give you sign like 9 of sparrow or jack the the sir move his card to show the people in front of the magician the magacoan read the card from back and at last he read the card on table and judt cover it and hit it with knife and there are many more to do this trick
He cut his finger in order to perform the incantation, obviously.
Seems like you're coming from The Order 😂
"He was so nice for a Brown fellow!"
Somebody obviously saw the card and put it in the menu. Solved :)
The card was already in that paper file put by 3rd person who knew what was the selected card Then magician roughly scramble n throw all the card to floor ..so nobody can catch the original card😁
