Very good work! If I where to do anything different. I would add an oil cooler, electric fan, and then a replaceable filter on the return side. Would be cool to see an additional video with these modifications!
And an Oil Level, on this Typ of Hydraulic Motor Packs they tend to decrease every then and now...

A 'Swager'. It's fundamentaly an hydraulic press with removable Dies for different size hose assembly configured around a circular jaw that opens and closes at extreme PSI. I carried a small one in my van for my mobile hydraulics work which was ~500mm². Extremely powerfull however and allowed me to swage upto 1½ which is generally enough for site work. These guys would not have a problem making the machine or the Tungsten Dies. I agree with you that it would be an interesting project but dangerous without the correct tools. The heavy duty springs alone behind the jaws are put under enormous pressure. Any miscalculation can result in death. I've seen horrendous accidents all over the hydraulic spectrum. _Side Note:_ They would make the tools they required.

Is that a sort of clutch between the two hubs? Like the springs in an automobile clutch to reduce the instantaneous force of the electric motor? Looks like it’s made from an elastomer material?
It is called a Lovejoy coupler. It is to reduce shock and compensate for minor misalignment issues

I have the ability mechanically to make one of these but I’d like to use a gasoline engine. My issue is where to research the HP vs GPM of the pump in order to figure out what I would need to power a hydraulic motor that powers a winch. Can anyone direct me to a source for that info?
А как повысить скорость перемещения штока?
Увеличить пропускную способность. Установить нш у которого перекачка объёма выше , штуцера соответственно с большим диаметром и тд Или уменьшить объём цилиндр ( заменить цилиндр на более тонкий ) Или поставить более оборотистый двигатель стоит к примеру 900 оборотов ставь 3000 тоже скорость увеличится вариантов полно в общем

i bought the plan for 6 dollars and am a little disappointed that the components used are not described. there are no technical data or exact descriptions of the components used, such as those of the motor, the pump, the valve etc. it is also not apparent whether there is a throttle valve or overpressure protection. simply nothing. the plans only show what you have already seen in the video.
