    • 😂😂😂😂 you're both crazy Its a scripted show to a certain point. There were no previous trainers They emailed the show and was accepted. For ceaser to show them how stupid there are raising a dog. And what they don't realise is They can't raise a dog. And they can't raise kids nither

    • That's actually not uncommon bc Cesar uses different methods than most trainers, who are reward (treat) based only. I sent my 4 dogs to 1 month board & train bc my health problems are preventing me from achieving the level of training I had with my previous pack and...they came back worse than ever! He not only used rewards, he also used collars (forget what they're called...not just shock collars, but he ultimately used the shock). He would give a command while pressing the button & if they didn't respond, he would increase the intensity. It starts as a tapping feeling BUT in our in-home demonstration AFTER the month, she jacked those collars up HIGH! 1 baby ran from him when he told her to come & put herself in the corner way down the hall & he kept increasing it until she screamed & pissed herself. She was the last one he worked with, otherwise it would have been over immediately after that. But he also made my 70 lb boy cry bc he wouldn't "place" & I think he had it up into the 70's on him. I didn't find out the level til it was all done. He also used one on my PUPPY that was under 6 mos old. She hasn't been the same since. I wanna do the same to him, just with a human level of shock! Ugh, so disgusted & it was already paid for & was a huge chunk of change! Can't afford to try with someone else that probably won't be effective. And I need the help desperately bc I'm much weaker & get hurt often by their carelessness or just jumping up on me, esp the 70 lber. But The Monks of New Skete have several books that are also awesome if you can do the training yourself. I kind of combined Cesar & them with previous pack. But I was never able to sshht & poke one of mine to get attention to completely stop what their unwanted behavior was, like jumping up on me. That's been my main problem with ALL of my dogs, no matter what technique I try to use to stop it. It's next to impossible to find trainers like Cesar & The Monks!

  • Wow, Caser you are amazing. I have a challange for this dogs owners and that is when they are ready it would be good to see them walking it into a hardware store, pet store, any store that allows animals. My husband and I have owned German Shepherds, and when our first one past in 2020, aged just over 12 years old, our boy who was 2 and a half at the time, we didn't want to not have a little sis for him for too long (we also work from home, even before Covid, so perfect for us too) so we had already been researching a Malinois. Over here breeders won't allow you to purchase one unless you can handle a GSD minimum, or in the Police or Military. Long story short we got Jasmin. We were told to wait for her first heat before desexing which we did. After that she got desexed and was a changed girl. She ended up in ICU for almost a week (to this day we don't know what happened, she's now 3) and after that developed Fear Aggression. We are strict trainers with our dogs to ensure the best for all but we needed help. We wished we had you Caser over here and like this dogs owners, had spent a lot of money on so called professionals, many who didn't even come to see our girl just said over the phone you can do anything about it. Earlier this year, at our wits end in Facebook an advert came up for a trainer not far from us. The logo is a Malinois. Looked into them, went to them...never looked back. We call them our "Aussie Caser Milan" and she is now amazing. As she's being trained for Agility she continues to go to training with them. She didn't have fear aggression just scared. So good on you guys for getting the help you needed and thank goodness for Caser who was able to assist you. Well done to you all and hope to see more amazing stories like this!

She was a rescue when she came to me, completely shut down, if that help understand some of her behavior. I'd love for her to not be afraid, maybe I'll find a "pack" for her to regab with a few days a week.

    • I’m not Cesar but every dog has different personalities and temperaments. He might just need a different approach from you than the other dogs. Are they truly comfortable with the leash? Maybe start back at square one and slowly associate the leash in a positive way like Cesar does with puppies. I think there’s videos on that. He might just need more patience than the others to get comfortable with something. Be patient and don’t rush it or it could take you back instead of forward. Like in this video, Cesar took it one step at a time. First to just touch the car when the end goal was to get her in.

I've used a combo of both in the past & now I just need help too bc of my health & being disabled. I can't do what I once did. I'd give just about anything I have to have Cesar work with my dogs, esp so I stop getting hurt, which will only be worse when I'm post-surgical.

    • I'm not for that at all either. This family took it to 3 different trainers (probably all treat/reward based trainers) & got nowhere. The daughter was sitting on the couch & the dog was literally trying to go after her & the dad had to keep blocking it from her. When your children's safety is at risk, it's a major problem. They got lucky getting Cesar's help. None of them obviously wanted to put the dog down but if no one could have helped, you take big risks trying to give a dog that gets aggressive, whether out of fear or just straight aggression, to someone else. I had to do it with a rescue bc the rescue refused to take it back & I had been badly bitten when trying to get him off my senior dog, who he'd attack fiercely out of the blue every once in awhile. He also caused damage to my senior dog. I hated doing it, but he hated my old dog & my old one didn't deserve to spend his senior years like that (he only had between 1-2 years left. When I found someone, I had to write up an agreement that fully informed them of the issues I experienced & waived me of any responsibility if the dog caused them any damages. And he was to come back to me if they didn't keep him bc I would have worked hard at finding him another home instead of trusting someone else to find a better suited home.

    • They reacted with aggression only after the insecurity boiled over. This created a feedback loop of distrust and aggression. When CM noticed she was not getting in the car instead of yelling and forcing the situation, he slowed down and got closer softer and more gentle showing that its OK. Then he ramped up with heavier pats and louder voice to build up that energy and sensitivity to stimulus

  • My opinion is that this dog definitely did not become so aggressive and bite from one day to the next WITHOUT warning signs. Countless(!!) warning signs of the dog were overlooked for a long time. A dog is not a soft toy that is available for children 24/7. Children must learn to understand dogs and appreciate them as living beings with their own needs. The dog's body language was ignored for a long time. Please teach people first. Even when the cute girl said: "I wanted a dog to cuddle and not one like that". That says a lot. Otherwise she would say: I wish that Misty could share her life with us in harmony.

  • That dog wouldn’t have lasted past the second trainer. I’ll never be able to trust her.

  • I think she was pressured too much in the family and just defended herself. It was just too much for her.

  • As a European I'm once more speechless at the sheer audacity of American neighbours not only sticking their noses in other people's business but even daring to suggest to put the dog down. Wtf?

    • First of all, they are probably friends as well as neighbors. Second, that’s not just an American thing. I’ve seen a million videos of nosy neighbors in Europe. Especially the UK.

    • @@oldageisdumb Telling your neighbours what to do about things that are none of your business in the 1st place and expecting them to do so is something I've only ever seen Americans do. That goes way beyond just being nosy. Also, that woman was referred to as their neighbour, not as their friend. Had she been the latter she would have been called that.

  • I love Cesar! I look at these videos as instructional in terms of understanding dog behavior, so I find myself much more interested in those aspects than the impacts to the family. To me, this video would've been so much better without all the interviews with the family. I just want to focus on Cesar and the dogs!

  • Its crazy that the dog is not even adult yet and theyve considered putting it down. They shouldnt own a pet.
