That jump to catch the guinea fowl was crazy.

The BBC makes the best documentaries.
Depends on the topic. 🤣
@@unni.m1959 No they are always professional done.
@@davidnyc487 ookay. Sorry if it offended you. U must be British right !
@@davidnyc487Ehh… they’re good but can be a bit much at times. I sorta prefer just watch raw footage of people out in the safari filming and uploading it to their personal YT pages
This is something my dad would love to watch as daughter father bonding 😭😘
One of the best scenes ever watched @3:10 as the pup lays on its back and the mother smooches the pup. 🤩
Wild dogs are fascinating! Our crew recently filmed a project that aimed to reintroduce African wild dogs to their natural habitat. They are listed as globally endangered, and we're happy to see projects like this and also curious to learn about its results.
Did anyone asked ?
what's fascinating in eating prey's intestines alive
Their sounds are like a celestial song...beautiful!
Showing the jackals in slow motion, makes you appreciate how fast and athletically they move. That jackal at the end of the clip must have smelt the camera crew on the wind.
It's crazy how different the footage looked when they zoomed out.
That Jackal earned a master's degree at the Leopard School of Leaping.
I think wild canids tend to be overlooked compared to the wild felids. Canids are just as AWESOME!!!
Members of the families Felidae and Canidae are called cats and dogs respectively.
I love how the video makes their lives seem secluded like there's no lions, Crocs, hyena's, leopards, cheetahs, snakes, Honey badgers, etc looking to make them the next meal 😁
Lucky to watch as earlier as uploaded Thanks BBC
Hops!! That was an AMAZING jump & catch!
One dove lags behind and a mouthful of feathers.

Hi! How are you? The new year has begun, and a few days have passed. And it's Thursday again this week. Time flies like an arrow away from a bow. I wish you good health and good things for the rest of the week. Thank you very much.
*Most wholesome of wild families!*
Omg those jackal pups! Too cute. So the mom and dad jackals partner for life and this is what they do. Have pups and eat lol. That's pretty much it.
The jackal really was like: *Yes I’ll just shove the feathers up my mouth cause I know this is meat*
Thank you for not cutting the part where they captured one or splicing 2 different videos together
great video!!!!!
Finally some dog action apart from wolves and painted dogs i feel like canids often get overlooked by conservation documentaries in favor of cats
SOLI DEO GLORIA!!!!!
1:59 that catch scared the kudus lol the amount od doves that dodged nnear death thou is amazing
Simplesmente Incrive!!
Show us how the cordycep video was filmed?
The bird's ability beats the wolf's speed😂
I didn't know black backed jackals could jump like that! Wow.
oh my good those slow mottion is awesome
He went *UP* to grab that meal 🤣🤣
Imagine having to do this for a day, just to survive. Now Imagine having to do it for four hundred million years.
I have no idea what your point is? Every living being has(or has had) its own challenges during each life cycle over time. Like Salmon making their perilous swims upstream(often through bears stuffing their face for projected hibernation) or this type of bird(whose name escapes me) literally has to have their chicks fall from a mountain one at a time(often killed instantly) in order to join their parents to walk to the feeding area. They’re eggs are hatched high on a mountain to protect the eggs/younger chicks from predators, but once the chicks reach a certain stage, they have to feed down in the valley, but their parents can’t carry them down, so they literally walk off the edge and hope the trip down isn’t too traumatic. It’s absolutely nuts, but true.
@@m.williams4971 - This is very much true, and I would argue humans' greatest challenge is how ridiculously long it takes for our children to age into even a modicum of independence, or even just being able to walk and run!
@@m.williams4971 my point is that these animals have a very long road ahead until they develop agricultural technology
@@benjamindover4337 what wait do you think the “destiny” of every species is to develop agriculture and technology? No individual survives for millions of years, only lineages or clades do which are composed of descendants and millions of generations of organisms which only live for a few years. Species occupy ecological niches and I don’t think jackals will fill any “social agricultural-farmer” niche since there are humans already occupying that in Africa which prevents any similar sized/related species from occupying the niche. Termites and ants however have some agriculture because their crops are fungus and their cattle are aphids, a similar niche but in another part of the ecosystem.
@@benjamindover4337 this will never going to happen. We are created differently from other animals. All the things are made for Human and human are made for GOD. That's simple explanation for u to understand.
..beautiful animals 💓
1:57 I am confused with the large animals. What kind of animal are they? And why do they look so big?
Those are female greater Kudu. Greater Kudu are very tall antelope.
a great leap!
the video is so interesting the photo frame really knows how to capture one-of-a-kind moments 2
How amazing
Amazing jump but i wonder why he did not use this jumping while trying to catch doves
Jackals are fast: shows Jackals in slow-mo
Super cute and beautiful safe🌹
What a jump
The perfect shots. Its great timing and angles 😳🗿
that slow motion in the begining
An example of animal intelligence
Amazing dog
Excellent ❤
Love this❤️
😍
beautiful
In my opinion I’d really like to see more animals from the dog family like wolves and jackals
black-backed jackal are very underrated ,I understand as africa has such big hitters but they are amazing animals and worthy of a good documentary

Never before and ever after 🕊🏃♂️
I'm a big fan of animals 👍
Amazing video 👍👍👍👍
Oh wow, was not expecting him to get that kinda height in a jump. (Sorta reminded me of a grey Fox)
bro that catch
It always shocked me how nimble wild canids are to domesticated dogs of similar size.
My Staffy mix is that nimble and jumps super high!

Amazing
I like this a lot 💯
Wow, amazing video 👍
Like I always say that's how nature goes It's a dog eat dog world or should I say It's a dog eat bird world I like the documentary you got there
That's great video
Oh My Word 😆
Very good beautiful
0:42 amazing!
Are we just gonna ignore that 1+ meter vertical jump by that jackal? Ok.
That was wild
Yes.
Speed and agility. Based on the eland in the background, I think its was 1 meter. Still impressive for a 1 foot tall dog.
@@Rainkit Technically, that was a Kudu. Elands don’t have stripes.
Air Bud: Primal!! 😂

Reminds me of that video of coyotes hunting ducks on a Las Vegas golf course.
That dead guinea fowl was joking around
👍👍👍👍
We should have send him to the "4-Schanzentournee". Then we would not have lost. Awesome jump.
Nice
I want it in full

Jackals it's very quickly to catch food
Reminds me of whippets
Awesome!
The title is wrong, this are jackals, not wild dogs
👍🌹🌹
Newcomers in college be like... trying to win a girl. 😃
What is the name of the song in the final video?
And i thought only servals and caracals could do that!
If I'm not mistaken those are jackals not wild dogs
Jackals are dogs, just like leopards are cats.
@@indyreno2933 As much as Orangutans are humans. Leopards are Felidae, Jackals are Canidae and Orangutans are Hominidae.
More like humans are apes, specifically great apes.
@@indyreno2933 no. Felid means cat. Canid dog. Hominid human.
@Víktor Bautista i Roca, members of the family Canidae are called dogs, members of the family Felidae are called cats, and members of the family Hominidae are called great apes.

They would be more successful if they could use their front legs to support in the hunt.
That's a Jackal
