Yes this please! I have a living dex for the base game and kitakami, that along with my boxes for personal use Pokémon only leaves me with like 6 empty boxes. I would love to be able to complete the full games living dex in my boxes but unless they add a bunch more box space with the dlc there’s just no way I can fit it all.

I really expected Minior to be available in Teal Mask It's Japanese Festival themed, you'd figure it would appear because it looks like those star candies. Also would've made sense because there's shooting stars you can see at night in base game
I guess Minior didn't match the haunting vibe of Kitakami. 🤷🏻♂️
I spent a good amount of time in Sun and Moon trying to get all seven colours of Minior. I did manage to get two full sets of them, they are sitting in Home waiting. Makes sense to see them, Alola is based on Hawaii and Hawaii is the 50th state, Unova is based on the US. Furfrou, didn't care too much about them I got the forms in X and Y and that was about it.
Yeah, well, you'd also expect the Granbull line to be in Galar. You know, *Poke-Britain.*
You’d think they would include Starmie in the game that’s all about crystals since it literally has crystal on its body.

Joe from Serebii said that he saw both Exeggutor forms in the wild. It's going to be interesting to see how they handle that when it comes to evolutions.
Blueberry Academy apparently has very defined biomes, so my speculation is that evolving Pikachu or Exeggcute in the beach biome they’ll get their Alolan forms.

Seeing as it's not in the Alola region, it's pretty obvious that we're probably not going to be able to evolve for those forms...which would be the entire point of just putting them in the wild

It's just ridiculous at this point. Like just make one more dlc and put the rest in the game. The fact that we can't have every pokemon in game just so they can keep pokemon Home subscriptions will always annoy me.
My favorite returning Pokémon coming to Violet & Scarlet is Alcremie, I love its design, different forms, & the shiny versions are groovy in my opinion.
Having 7-8/10 of the Dex in one game is honestly amazing. Smeargle coming back is going to be INSANE for being able to easily catch any Pokemon, using Soak, Spore, False Swipe, and a fourth move of choice. I also think it'll be REALLY interesting to see how Revival Blessing behaves with Smeargle, which might make both appear more in competitive, since the move is currently locked to two mediocre Pokemon. With every ID battle being Doubles, getting a Revival Blessing Smeargle should be easy. Something that makes me personally sad is the lack of Kalos representation. We're getting the Espurr line (yay) and the Inkay line, but STILL no Furfrou? You're telling me that, based on everything we know, Kalos and Paldea are essentially neighbors, and yet not a single Furfrou has made its way to Paldea? Sure, a Unova based area can have most of the Alolan form Pokemon, but Furfrou isn't in its next closest known region? It's really confusing and sad that the last games where this Pokemon was available were USUM. I hope in the future they A, bring back Furfrou, and B, make it so the form change is like Deoxys where you CAN transfer it up and it doesn't go away after a few days. Hearing that the Alcremie sweets are just on the ground is VERY good to know. RIP to everyone like me who grinded out Cram-o-matic sweets.

I'm also sad that Xerneas and Yveltal seems to be the ONLY box art legendaries to NOT be included at all in SV. I was hoping they would be here since I've come to realise that Yveltal is my favorite Legendary after Gen 9 came out and kinda wanted to actually use one in my game.
Im dying to see the new Incineroar model, i want to see if hes going to be like the smash one with the awesome texture of the fire and the fur
Incineroar was the only pokemon I hated in S&M, but smash bros charged that and now he is one of my favorites.

I'm so excited! After they give us Alolan Golem in the wild. After Indigo Disk, there will be no Trade evolution Pokemon left that you cannot catch. This is something I thought I would never see in Pokemon

I'm excited too, I don't have any friends who play Pokémon, so in the past I could never get the trade only evolution Pokémons, other than getting lucky in the surprise trade.
The Tera Raids always feature those trade evos, by the way. So, I rely on those to fill in the Pokédex fast. 😅
@@freconsboI know, that's how I got the few that was available, I was hopping that the rest would be available in Indigo Disk, now I'm happy that I will. Same with Pokémon that have weird or complicated evolution method.

I think this update makes it the closest to the regional dex as compared to the other games. Hope there will come a time where every pokemon in all versions exists within one game.
Serebii Joe has confirmed that both forms of Exeggutor can be found in the wild, but in the preview he couldn't find a leaf stone in time so we don't know which form Exeggcute evolves into.
Since the indigo disk takes place near Unova, there should be a way to possibly get mythicals or even fossil pokemon from various regions, its a bit unfortunate that we dont get too many Fossil Pokemon, their very underated
We might get some like we did in the crown tundra
Several Fossil Pokemon are pretty good for teams.
I really hope the Gen IV fossil Pokemon aren't the only ones we're getting. I'd like to be able to get Tyrantrum.

Same! Cat pokemon have always been my favorite.
Meowth (+2 alternate forms), Litten, Purrloin, Sprigatito, Espurr, Glameow, and Skitty are all the main cat Pokemon. Litleo, Shinx, and some Eeveelutions are either alternate felines or close enough to felines. Solgaleo and the Legendary Beasts (mostly Raikou) are legendaries that are feline-like too.

Got abunch on legends plus one shiny porygon 3 ready to go. I recentlr sorted all my pokemon on legends ready for the next update for home. The porygon line' Rhyhorn' magby' elekid lines and such.

I’m sooooo happy Porygon is back. Paldea, Area Zero, Kitakami, and the Terarium are interesting regions for me and Porygon to explore. We gonna conclude Gen 9 together it’s gonna be epic!

Not every pokemon has to be good for competitive play 😊 some are good to just have for company. Anyways this ain't really about what anyone is talking about, but what would be really amazing if someone were to collab with the Pokemon company, and the company that makes the Omni directional gaming pad with a censor suit and top notch vr system. Just refine all of it and create a truly open world mmo pokemon game that allows you to ketch all pokemon and the suit makes you feel the world of Pokemon. Just being able to travel to every region. Become a trainer that you want to be. Like a gym leader, elite four or own a restaurant be a professor list goes on. And the pokemon battles will be more like the anime able to do really cool combos free style battles and no health bars or levels and yes the bond with your pokemon will make them stronger etc.

Tera raids have been a lot better than dynamax raids, so this could be promising. As long as the ally ai gets fixed.
Good to finally have Toucanon back. I absolutely love the shiny version and did a lot of grinding to get one. Then I was never able to use it once Pokemon shifted to the Switch. Mine just sits in Pokemon Home collecting dust until Indigo Disk drops.
Araquanid has been one of my favorites since it’s debut in Sun&Moon, so excited to see its return for this DLC😁

@@DiaborMagics I say it’s worthy but in SV you can probably get a shiny quicker with the recipe that you use if it gives you water type where Lapras is located at. A recipe for water type + Lapras showing up = Shiny Lapras 👍🏽

I hope to see some more Pokémon like Mr Mime, Kangaskhan, Farfetch’d, Miltank, Tentacruel, Tyrogue, and stuff like that in the DLC, as these Pokémon would be amazing to see in Scarlet and Violet.

I may be jumping up and down for golurk. I can finally have my sweet ghost ground type golem, fell in love with it when I saw it in gen 5 and in the wild in gen 8. Finally I can see it in all the laggy but amazingly good scarlet and violet games

Honestly, Toucannon is slept on as an early route bird Pokémon and I'm excited it's back. Though I do wish the elemental monkeys were making a return. I feel like I'm the only person that feels that way, but I just want to see them.

As someone who didn't own any games and console before the switch and after the the gameboy color, I am so happy that we are getting a lot of new pokemon. I can finally add more to my living dex collection!

Love to see Snivy, Tepig, Blitzle, Pikipek and Minior returning. Hopefully there'll be some Mythical Pokémon events as well. As for "normal" Pokémon I'm still missing some to complete my (switch games based) living dex in HOME: Spinda (I wouldn't mind a patch for HOME+BDSP either), Patrat, Pansage, Pansear, Panpour, Poké Ball Vivillon and Furfrou. The number of missing forms should go down to 30ish though.
I am so happy about Zebstrika, Primarina, Meganium, both forms of Ninetales, Dewgong, Lapras, Whimsicott, Reuniclus and many of my other favourites returning 😃
I am literally so excited for flygon! I have access to 5 of my dream team so far and flygon is the 6th! I love it so much and I’m so glad it’s coming back!
I have a theory about Zeraora: since it’s probably not coming but the elekid line will, there’s a chance that Electivire recieves Zeraora’s signature Plasma fists. It happened with Greninja when it wasn’t in SwSh and Accelgor recieved it. It would be a HUGE buff for Electivire.

Yeah, I wish. Zeraora isn't significant enough to keep its signature move away from other mons that need it, but god knows they're not going to distribute it anyway.

Sigilyph is one of my go-tos whenever it’s available. Easily my favorite non-legend psychic type. Some favorites make it in, but at the cost of others not making the cut. Flygon, Serperior, Kingdra and Porygon are here… but no Sigilyph, Absol, Manectric, Drapion or Obstagoon.
I really hope you can catch Alolan Raichu in the DLC or they have a way to evolve a Pikachu into Alolan Raichu.
So happy Lapras is coming back, I've been wanting to transfer mine in for so long, and I'm glad Minior is back since I missed out on shiny hunting that one back in US/UM. Question though: With all the Alolan regionals returning, do we know if there's gonna be a way to evolve into Alolan Raichu?
I’m so excitied for Flygon coming back! After I completed the Kititami dex I radar hunted Vibrava in bdsp and ended up with 5 shiny vibrava. Safe to say I’m ready lol.
Really excited for Alolan Geodude line making an appearance this gen. Shiny Alolan Golem is in my top three favorite Pokémon.
Seeing rampardos and bastiodon being the only fossil pokemon seems strange to me, since it is quite rare to see them as the only ones and not together with the other fossils. Maybe I don't know what could happen, whether there are more fossils in the DLC. very good video by the way

Especially considering that I love the mime jr. Mr. Mime smoochum and the jynx lines so many missing pokemon from both dlcs so much missed potential
that's why furfrou is traded an valuable in home... it's always at the top charts, once the dlc drops that will either increase or drop significantly
Hopefully with Excadrill coming back TTar stocks will rise back up. Sand Force Excadrill still can be a menace. Also never thought I’d be missing the elemental monkies, but they’ve grown on me and hopefully we’ll see them in the likely incoming Unova remake arc.

Still bummed that the monkeys aren’t going to be available. I always liked them even if they aren’t very good. Hopefully they’ll get a raid spotlight and be introduced. Hard to believe that they would just leave out 9 pokemon from the switch.
im so hyped to hunt so many of these pokemon i got really attached to the oddish line after using one for my first swsh playthrough so thats an insta hunt all of the starters returning means no more masuda hunting gens 1-8 starters which is huge because i hate masuda hunting metagross is easily one of my favorite pokemon, i have 2 i think gen 5 even shinies but i have yet to hunt one myself, and im gonna do that for my playthrough team for this dlc
I can't wait to get a Blaziken again. One of my favorite things to do in Gen 3 and beyond was baiting Pokemon to use Fly, then hitting them with Sky Uppercut and KO'ing them before they could hit me.

i actually really liked both grass monkeys and panpour so im sad they wont be in the game. simisage is my go to grass type in unova and a strangely special panpour quite literally carried me through Y version.
