Am I the only one who's disappointed that they did not make their office comepletely covered with mirrors on every surface, like the book. I just feel like it was such a big part of their interactions when they looked at each other and noticed each other subliminally through their reflections. Or maybe it was just me that really liked that aspect of the book. Also I don't particularly hate the casting of Josh but I just imagined him as much more uptight and serious than this. This guy could've pulled off the character much better if he was directed as less talkative and funny-ish.
And he smiled more times in this trailer alone than he did in the book. Like what?

I want to agree soo bad but... we will never have movie content again. Look at all the really great movies, they are all from books. Hunger games, dune, almost all Netflix movies. Without books the movie industry is nothing

All the good movies are based on books only because the books already have a following and studios produce up to 95% of content based on existing IP for the fear of having to market something new. Movie writers are great and plenty and they suffer greatly because true movie industry is dying due to greed.

he isn’t who I imagined as josh at all :( his hair is too long and whiffed and his voice is just off?? He seems too friendly and smiley? They didn’t interact physically that much in the book yet they’re like way more aggressive in the film ? Also she dresses far too business like

I watched it and it surprised me in many ways they both were great👍 the trailer did not do the movie any justice in my opinion.

I`m actually shocked how close it is to the book - dialogs, dresses, scenes, lead actress is the best choice for this role. So I`m actually excited to see the whole film.
I'm disappointed with the evelator scene. I thought Josh was supposed to kiss her to test out a theory.

Yeah, the movie looks like any other romcom where the girl hates the guy and the guy hates the girl but later they get over it. The book had layers more than this, then the girl having Robin eyes. That's my favourite part. I don't think Lucy hale has blue eyes in this 🙁

I’ve read the book and just finished watching the movie. They made few changes when converting to screenplay like Lucy’s eyes. But TRUST ME, ITS A VERY GOOD MOVIE. Didn’t disappoint . Although, one tip, just watch it as a movie and don’t compare every little scene to the book. Both are great in its own medium.

@@lmbgemini yes I was shocked that she kissed him rather than the other way round. Coz that meant changing the whole theme of the plot coz it was him who secretly liked her from the beginning

I think I’m unpopular here but this looks GREAT AND I CAN’T WAIT! This look like is will compare to the book amazingly! Especially the dream and elevator scenes. I hope they get the Josh’s wall color scene right. Sooo excited!!!

@@andreacalderon5641 - Yeah, I think the casting is amazing as well! The actors they casted for both of them are hot. The entire trailer basically gave away the entirety of the plot though sadly… But I’m still excited to see it! This is honestly one of my favorite romance books I’ve read.

it looks good! It looks really good for an adaptation; I hate when people try to pick an adaptation apart because it doesn't check every single thing you imagine the movie would be... I try to appreciate the movie for what it is, and then I decide if I like it from there. I hope they adapt honeymooners soon.

I kinda was. I know they tried to match up to the actress eye color but I just saw the vision of Robin blue while I was reading the book.

Guys I just finished the book for the first time ever with my best friend! And we are going to watch this movie together and I’m very excited to watch it but I know that sometimes the movie leaves out little details, so I’m trying not to be too excited. But I can’t help it LOL. When I finished watching the movie, I will put the update on how I actually felt! Also I did not watch the video because a lot of people in the comment section or saying “they put the whole movie in the trailer” So after I finish watching the movie, I will post another comment telling about my experience :)
Okay guys I’m back! I have watched the movie with my best friend and oh my God! You guys will not believe how crazy everything was! The movie was disappointing… Lol The lines look very rehearsed and the movie was moving too fast. There were certain parts that I wanted in the movie but they were not there at all! And I feel like that was a big signification of how the characters came to be. And the whole main part was just not even there! So this movie was truly truly disappointing. However, if you did not read the book, this would be a fun movie to watch if you want to waste time :)
