I have the iPhone 12 Pro in Silver. My phone heats up too much to charge via MagSafe at its full capacity. It takes so much longer to charge and at the expense over overheating (even when on a cool surface like granite). So thanks to your review I went ahead and purchased this case off of Amazon! What is a case that you gravitate to? Been using the rhinoshield modnx for awhile but I don’t know if I should get it for my iPhone 12, or the silicone case from Apple.

Good review - I wish you had shown the amount of bezel or lip around screen better then you did. E.g i you put against edge at engle you can show the amount of the lip. Also did the tested phone have a screen protector as that reduces the screen lip.

Yea I cant emphasize enough about cleaning the phone and case regularly. I have seen phones where the back is absolutely worn down. Got one for 15Euro's so definitely not a big loss.

I have the IPhone 12 Pro 128 Gig in Gold & I have this Case as my 1st one & love Spigen Cases I buy 1 for every iPhone.
Same here, I'm ususally not a fan of clear cases but since my phone is the Gold version, mght as well show off the color, and the Spigen Ultra Hybrid is the best clear case imo Very few non clear cases go well with gold, I like the Apple Saddle Brown leather ad the UAG dark green case are good choices for the gold variant
I love your videos. I have a quick question though. You said this case is what you use on all your iPhones. But you also said the case scratches your phone. So my question is why would you keep getting this type of case if this is what it dose? But again great video 😊

I use Spigen clear cases all the time. However, to be honest, after about after 6 months the case always starts to yellow and after a year I get a new case. Also, the case does show scratches. But the case always protected my phone when it has been dropped, even when dropped face down.

I’m waiting on the graphite. Still have a couple of weeks of waiting tho. I will be using the JETech crystal clear case for mine. I’ve used one on my previous 3 iPhones and it has never turned yellow and it is budget friendly!

It’s rigid, 0 flex, slippery and the bottom is open across the speakers and port area instead of having cutouts. It is definitely a finger print magnet! It will work but I’ll probably be getting a different case in a few weeks

Unless it’s silicone it’s gonna scratch your phone . And the drop impact will be compromised. That is a good case

That can happen with any case coz of dust particles going inside after months of use, no matter what case u pick keep cleaning the back of phone from time to time
The iPhone 11 and 12 has a different design. It scratched for me because I test ALOT of cases and I kept taking it off and on. A regular user won’t experience issues like this.

Very good comparison. I'm debating between a 3rd party case and a Apple clear case. I think I'm going to go with the 3rd party because I don't like how Apple's clear case is exposed at the bottom and apparently the volume buttons are somewhat stiff. As for Magsafe, I'm still planning on getting the duo charger. My thought process is I'll have the Duo charger on my nightstand and a lighting cable next to my bed for the full 20w fast charging. Cable will be used if my phone is very low on battery and I want to use my phone while in bed. The 20w charging will mean I will be able to discount the cable faster from my phone to not be tethered longer than it needs to be. Magsafe Duo charger will be used when I actually go to sleep.
I am also thinking to get clear case for my gold iPhone 12 pro so that I can really see the beauty of it. 👌🔥

Yup, it does
The "Ultra Hybrid" is excellent, but the "Quartz Hybrid" is even better. Identical except the Quartz has a Tempered glass back vs plastic. Holds up much better, and feels more premium.
Will the sides of the case becomes yellow tint after some days?
