The amount of iphones he's holding in his hand during the intro is worth more money than i have in my savings
Just ONE of those is more than I have in my savings😬
@@xgamer6108 Same lol 😂
He's making hundreds of thousands with over 8 million subscribers per video. Sponsorships also pay for the iPhones to do these types of videos.
@@tech4life884 hundreds of thousands per a video is almost certainly and overestimation unless he gets a crazy sponsorship. Still definitely a of revenue
I’ll do you one better, the amount of iPhones he’s holding in the intro will buy me
Can we note how most of the phones that “landed on their face” survived more often. It’s almost like physics played a factor in terms distribution of impact across a larger area.
I’ve actually never had a screen crack from dropping straight down. The 2 times my screens have cracked, it was because I dropped it on the corner 😉
My iphone X got wrecked after falling face down and it wasn’t even that high 😩
I'm a professional phone wrecker and at least 4 of my phones got cracked just like that xD
The biggest factor is the model of iPhone 12 he used, notice how none of the pros cracked or chipped or were crushed like the regular 12s, which he used pro models for the apple cases...
First, I was dying inside a little seeing all those iPhones drop, but I really want to thank you for putting this video out. Very informative. I bought myself two Apple silicone cases (getting ready for my iPhone 12 :), they looked kinda weak to me, but I'm so pleasantly surprised at how well they performed, but I'm definitely buying the Rebel ones next.
I love how, when one iPhone breaks he just casually just grabs another outa his stash.
“Oh im sorry i broke your phone… let me grab another one out of my pocket for you.”
@@DicedTea He is responsible for 20% of iPhone sales xD
Yo bro, one of them scam bots jus copied your comment to reply to one of my comments 💀
thats what the case is made for xD Its supposed to protect your phone from most angles
@@DicedTea they don’t belong to anyone else, those are all of his phones he bought for the video lol, so he won’t have to say that to anyone fortunately lol

I’m sorry I know it’s not related but I made a video on the NEW airpods 3 pro CLONES I also show how to get them there lit✨✨
Thanks for another great video! totally going to check out your cases!
I absolutely love my crystal series gen 2 case, it actually makes me want to consider keeping my 12 pro until I pay it completely off. My last case was the tech 21 clear case and I dropped it from maybe two feet on the back and it completely shattered the back, so I had to get a replacement and since this is a brand new phone and I know it’s never going to break in this case it seems like it would be a good idea just to keep the thing. Thank you
Let's appreciate this man for going up and down the stairs every time this is real hard-working
I know right
And all the iPhone 12’s he sacrificed

What about the iPhones 😂😂
just got myself the 12 mini and super excited to test this cases protective durability👍
I always enjoy these tower drop test videos, but we have to realize that this can't be an accurate way to decide which phone cases are protective and which ones aren't (although the Rebel ones look quite nice). The fact that the phone survived with the Apple cases, including the clear plastic one, suggests it has more to do with 1) how it fell during that particular drop and 2) the construction of the phone itself than the construction of the cases.
It is probally also the cases, I don't doubt that apple does skimp on quality for some accessories, it seems that they didn't skimp on R&D on those ones. The reason is probally that the silicone morphs and distorts when impacted, like dropping it in jello. With that said, they should offer a lifetime warranty replacement if it starts to fail. Watching this it makes me want to purchase his Rebel cases, those look legit.
Perhaps it would be better if there was a rail and sled system where the phone is launched very fast horizontally on a sled on a rail toward a stationary wall would be better and more consistent.
None of those phones would survive a drop no matter how it landed without a case.
Yeah. It would be interesting to see multiple drops from the same case to see how different falls will hurt the phone more or less.
i agree. it seems when the phone fell directly with a lot of force on the sides and didn’t land dropping face down it had more of a likelihood of breaking.
The moment when the rebel cases are not just for show but the real deal out there !!!!!!!
I’m sorry I know it’s not related but I made a video on the NEW airpods 3 pro CLONES I also show how to get them there lit✨✨
Bro he used the iPhone 12 Pro for the rebel cases but a regular iPhone 12 for the other cases. He just lost all my trust
@@abdalnassar5114 nope, he used iphone 12 for rebel as well, it only has 2 camera on the back, pro has 3
@@abdalnassar5114 what’s the difference? Yea one is bigger. So?
@@theyakel1 they are both the same size but the biggest differences being three cameras instead of two and instead of an aluminum frame it has a stainless steel frame. It also has frosted glass on the back
I personally really love the UAG designs. Rugged and slim. I think they provide decent protection.
I had an Apple case and it most definitely would not stick in my pocket as you said. It was super easy to drop into my jeans pocket and pull out. I thought the silicone texture was very nice. My only ideal improvement would be a bit more texture on the sides to improve hand grip.
I have been watching EAP for 6 years since he did the first tower drop test and I gotta say this hasn’t gotten one bit old, keep up the great videos man!

Crazy how Apple cases do better than actual what should be drop resistant ones
I think it’s because of the stiff material. No shock absorption going on that’s why apple did better with the silicon thing
But apple cases break easily. They peel, chip and crack easily
@@Justin-jy6fu kinda depends if you get a pretty good quality one they won’t peel chip or crack (unless you drop your phone a lot)
They know their phones the best
It's because he put an iPhone 12 pro into them, stainless steel a lot stronger than aluminum. If it was a regular 12 it would've cracked with any of the apple cases
Honestly I just got my gen 2 case and it's amazing. A smooth feel, yet very stable and not slippery. Comfortable, but not too bulky. Trying hard to get my wife to give up on her Speck cases. This video should convince her. 😂
You guys sold me on it, I just ordered the Rebel. Thanks for the vid.
You know we live in strange times when the Apple Case beats the Mouse one.
Thats stonks for Apple 📈📈
Yeah, Im calling BS lol, mous cases are extremely tough
Nothing beats the original
Mous cases have always been trash, way to stiff to protect anything. It has never passed these droptests

You earned a like and a new subscriber! I appreciate your hardwork going up and down the stairs. Great content!
Wow, this is definitely an extreme test scenario that most people may never experience. I appreciate your efforts in testing all of these cases. Because your testing involves such inconsistent impacts for each case, however, you cannot necessarily draw any reasonable conclusions beyond each specific case failure. All you can really state is which cases fail in certain circumstances. The cases that survived their specific type of impact does not necessarily mean that they will not fail with other types of impacts. The type of impacts are so varied: corner, side, top, bottom, face, back, and a variety of combinations in between. To have more conclusive results, you either need to drop each phone multiple times to get each desired type of impact, or you need to find a way to impose the same impact on each phone. You might even start with the most subtle impacts and work up to the worst, and then build a table of results for each type of impact. A tall PVC chute might work (maybe with a silicone spray coating inside to prevent friction against the chute walls) for end impacts, but that's just one type of impact. This would probably require a good deal of experimentation and more than one of each phone, but I'm certain it can be done and would definitely provide more consistent test scenarios. At a minimum, the surviving phones should be dropped again to impose a different type of impact. It's definitely time consuming and expensive to perform proper tests. Good luck!
Absolutely agree, a super good idea to test cases, very bad scientific approach...

Just got my rebel gen 2 case for the 12 pro max and love it!!
This is just proof that it really doesn’t matter how good your case is. It all is determined on where it impacts. So you just have to hope and pray
He just exposed a lot of phone case manufacturers and prove that Apple cases are actual pretty legit while promoting his own brand. Respect ✊
It’s called marketing lol why would he portray his brand poorly. Obviously few iphones would need to survive. Otherwise, it’d seem too fake.
@@albertomedina4062 he also uses 12 pro with stronger stainless steel edges only with his case.

I dont know how you can judge a case like that, It really depends in the way the phone lands on the ground…
I was thinking the same. I guess most of the viewers know this, just want to see how much money he can destroy. Beautiful.
@@saturn3333 lol, yah I guess you’re right!
Yes would need to drop every case 100 times to remove randomness
Would need a vacuum chamber and a auto release such as a suction cup or robotic arm for reproducibility. Every phone needs to land on edge or on the back.
I’ve been longing for one of these videos I can’t believe you brought it back 😌

This video deserves more views! I bought the UAG watching ur video. I live in India. Thankyou 🙏
I think the most impressive ones are the Apple case. How something that thin has survived 50 foot drops amazes me.
i was really confused when that thin clear case survived 😂

What’s crazy is that on another video, he did the same drop test on an Apple leather case and it survived too 🤯 somebody needs to look into Apple’s cases more because that’s incredibly impressive. Rumors say Apple put a lot of R&D into their cases which I’m also assuming drop protection goes into them… 🤔
I’d like to see a cheap silicon vs Apples
true my mom has dropped her iphone a lot and the case has protected her phonen from any damage
I have a rebel gen 2 for my 12 pro max and I love it, I just wanted to mention that in the video the rebel cases were tested with pro models with stainless steel border but the other case were tested with regular 12s with aluminum borders.
You did an excellent work and I am a big fan of the PhoneRebel. I would like to know about the iPhone 13 mini case? Any release plan for iPhone 13 mini?

Really proud to a phonerebel case user since iPhone 11. Eagerly waiting for the cutout version for iPhone 12 pro. Always exciting to see which case is the best and survives the drop test.
I recently acquired the Rebel series 2 and its very comfortable mag safe works and is very secure wish it had a charging port cover but hey never ask for too much
Please never stop these videos
Very surprised about the Mous limitless case. I thought they were one of the best before. I had theirs and very happy with their previous gen case.
I love apple’s official cases but I am thoroughly surprised by how well apple’s cases protected the phones, especially the clear case. That was a major surprise
Nice job as always! Wish you would have reviewed a Gear4 D30. I have the Battersea and really like it.
I love how you actually like do demonstrations on the KZhead channel and don’t cut anything out like for example if it brakes you don’t cut it out and you leave it in and you improve on that
Love the amount of effort put into the videos!! I would like to see the Otterbox Defender & Defender XT used in the drop test!!
Yea cant believe there isnt a defender in this
@@zoidelux unfortunately there never is he seems to always go for the symmetry and the other ones from them
Also for your own crystal series (and apple transparent case) u used the pro model which is steel. They wouldn’t survive if it was a normal aluminum iphone 12.

I'm happy the dbrand survived I like the look of their grip case the best

It's interesting to see how the lower grade cases from each brand have been picked. The Otter Defender or Defender pro was not used. They would definitely have done a better job. Likewise for a few other brands

Well, I gotta say, EAP really does bring the point home. I've got my Gen 2 Rebel case for several weeks now, and besides the drop resistance, this case is an overall very good build. Sleek design, clicky buttons, flat edges for easy swiping and magsafe support. Really happy with it! :›
The Fatality part had me dead! 😂😂
2 cases I’m curious if they would survive the 50 ft drop is the Raptic Shield case which I’ve had on my old 7 and was a very good case. Another one is called Impact Strong which is what’s currently on my phone. Probably the best case I’ve ever had and it look nice. Would love to see these tested on your channel.
On Sun Dec 5 2021, I went on your site to look into buying your case for my iPhone 13 Pro Max. The 12 series was the newest available. That's a pretty bad fail on some team's fault considering the 13 series has been out for close to 2 months. Still, you could buy a car for what it cost to run this test. Thank you for making it for your audience. It's definitely made me reconsider my loyalty to Mous. I'm on my 3rd case with Mous and I'm not confident Mous is giving customers their money's worth.
