What I love about this podcast is that they don't just talk about football and the results, it's all the bits inbetween what others talk about. It is enlightening and interesting and always worth a laugh. Great one chaps.
The situation they talk about at 17:30 occurred with my club Hertha BSC this season. We lost the first game of relegation round and in the second game our coach Felix Magath let senior player Kevin-Prince Boateng decide the line-up. It worked very well for us!
Fun fact: Vincent kompany married into a die hard man United family, so that’s a tough one to beat 😂

My man Crouchy protecting his former teammate from any stupid rumours 👍 I know it's all banter but he knows what would happen if he agreed to it being weird. Everton had just secured safety and everyone was getting mobbed by the fans, he was probably dripping in sweat, beer and BO. Let the guy have a shower ffs 😂

Not true at all short people tend to die younger and it’s a fact and it’s not about height it’s about weight and crouch is skinny
@@dondamon4669 there are studies that show that tall men live shorter. Also we're at a higher risk for cancer because us tall lot have alot more cells in our body. But hey medicine is doing greater things everyday

I coach my sons u10 team and I'm going to use the exercise of them picking the team. I won't put it into practice, but it's an interesting thought. Thank you for the idea.

You could double the length of this pod by including a half hour zoom chat with a different football journalist each week. After 20 years helping them out, it's the least they could do. Good brand building for all involved.

I was sat having a dump in a moto services on the m4 near reading and the fella in the next trap had you on , I couldn’t work out what he was listening to at the time , so I thought one voice sounded like the fella of radio 1 , the side kick to scott mills ( no offence meant ) . Then peter crouch spoke I think but it was a tricky time in proceedings , the toilet roll broke and all I could feel is cardboard tube x 2 🤔 then the bloke nexts to me starts laughing , not the fella playing the pod but he’s laughing along at the pod story , I’m like I’ve no bog roll , I’ve missed the punch line and now the pod fella has flushed . Anyway I discard an item of clothing and managed to meet around the nearest hand dryer and your still playing , he tells me it’s TPCP and I subscribed last week. True story but unfortunately I didn’t get his name and the services don’t sell underwear or pancakes . Keep up the good work gents . 🍺

Know it’s an old comment, but if you noticed they say “podcast on Spotify” usually If you have a podcast deal with Spotify it’s in the contract that the whole pod can only be uploaded there and you can only use clips for other platforms. it’s something they can’t help I guess.

In stitches over the shower comments. What wasn't said but was intimated was that only Crouchie didn't think that the manager jumping in the shower with the team was a bit pervy. Especially given the abuse cases in football over the past few years. Obviously we are talking about grown ups here but its obvious the presenter was hinting at it being possibly sexual by the manager.
My dad supports spurs, I’m Arsenal, my nan is Man City and my grandad is Liverpool, it can be a bit mad somtimes 😂

dude.. erm whats wrong for managers h in having showers...imagine you wearing a suit ayt ..in hot day... and you sweating and and stress out .... i would definitely take a shower to clean out the -tive energy ,b4 driving home...if you had a bad day ... and it makes you have cool calm head.
