Yup.. not having ALL its stats scale with level kills it, as even if you keep it levelled, it will become weaker and weaker as you move up in card level compared to other cards. The freeze spell used to be the opposite, as it's freeze duration increased with every level while the effect remained complete paralysis.. it's understandable as there was literally nothing else to increase, but the difference in importance of the spell in a low level and a high level deck was night and day, as levelling it up changed interactions in the freeze spell's favor. The electro giant has the opposite issue.
