Great Britain vs Argentina -80KG
Olympic players Aaron Cook and Sebastian Crismanich faced each other in the final of the
Dutch Open Taekwondo Championships 2012 .
Aaron Cook won the match by 9-8 and got gold.
Best of luck to Sebastian at the London 2012 Olympic Games, and it's a shame we won't be seeing Aaron there :(.
It's been a while since I saw taekwondo at this level of skill. both are great athletes. I don't care who won, it was a great fight.
Un très beau combat aussi ! Je confirme 🙏❤👍👍👍

buena pelea

I love seeing a good fight. both have good stamina, powerful yet beautiful kicks (and they do it very easily), proper strategy (use some initial kicks instead of just aiming for head). The small difference in the final score shows both are good fighters, only one must lose anyway since there's no Tae Kwon Do match ends in draw.
I got enrolled my 6 year old son in taekwondo, kickboxing school. I love this martial arts style. Hopefully he will love it and continue to train in it when he gets older.
How's your son now? is he doing well?
@@akabane8884 unfortunately he didn’t like it. He stopped going about 9 years ago. Thanks for asking. 👍🏻
REAL TAEKWONDO :D HECK YEAH!!!
@@draco5277 what is ctf teakwondo lmao
@@draco5277 i mean, if you go back in history the “real” taekwondo isn’t even called taekwondo. But WTF it’s the “original” first one to get oficialized by general “chong-hi” ( I’m not sure if thats how you spell it in our alphabet) who is considered the father of TKD. I do not mean to disrespect any other style or diminish them. I really don’t like how “WTF” now know as WT has become in the olympics . I think it has become a “score points with ur legs” than a martial art tournament. That’s why I said Real TKD

this is the REAL tkd!!! Today tkd is dead.... its very boring...
@@aliceelisa merci là-bas !!! 🙏❤👍

That Round house to Turning Hook at 5:45
I definitely have gone to MMA schools and crosstrain in many martial arts, specifically MT, BJJ, boxing and wrestling and have discussed with the instructors there. As TKD is a very fast-paced martial art in terms of the exchanges, it is very difficult to learn the correct distance and timing in order to properly execute techniques and score. With a background in TKD many fighters learn these elements from the martial art and implement them in their styles, rather than individual techniques
I wish I had the reflexes and instincts to attack at the right time like these guys do.
im a 1st degree black belt in taekwondo, 10 years of training, and i have to personally, and completely agree with you! TKD
Such a good fight... This guys have some crazy technique, that spining hook kick at 3:36 was so damn perfect.
You have to see kyokushin karate fights bro...come out from the haaaaa huuuu cartoon world
@@babanchakraborty6316je te rappelle que kyokushin vient du taekwondo. Renseigne toi avant de parler.
that back kick was bloody perfect~
Awesome fight.. even that spin kick I used in 2018 in tournament and it worked knocked 😊 Good to see similar kick. And first one back side kick, wow.. that's fabulous power ones 👍🏻
really nice match, players can learn something from this match
These guys are making it exciting!!
Great video. Straight from the first move...
Can we please have back this kind of taekwondo, i am writing from 2024
I started in taekwondo when I was 12 years old. I received my 1st dan blackbelt at age 15. I received my 2nd dan blackbelt when I was 19. I have the utmost respect for not only the sport itself, but for the martial art as well. I had also competed in a number of local, state and regional tournaments in Florida back in the 90's. Unless you've trained in TKD and competed in competitions or personally know someone who has, you can never really truly understand or appreciate it.
are u training at mac dojo? hope ur taekwondo vicious too
@@shootingstar5718 I am older now and have had back issues
so you got your black belt in 3 years?
Brings back memories

Good Fight!
Amazing O:
Have to say this was a very well fought match.
thanks i will
nice footworks. :)
Does anybody know the score of this? Round by round ... Anything would help
it helps with speed and the motions, and also most shots are hit to the body so when you keep your hands down its protecting most of the body. Most tae kwon do fighters have found out this disadvantage though and go to the head, so keeping your hands down is starting to do more harm then good
It was a close match, but Aaron Cook(Red) scored a head shot at the end to give him the come-behind win.
This is the real players wow both r amazing
Great match both fighters are among the best although i must say that argentinas sebastian crismanich is an outstanding fighter never the less aaron cook is extremely fast for his category saludos desde Mexico
Both have beautiful kicking techniques
very very good !!
Superb fight
I would like to see you try it.
Gran combate..!
So, is Taekwondo only kicking or are the hands also used? If we do not count breaking.
Que pelea espectacular. Muy parecidos en técnica y habilidad. Great fight!
I really like it
To test if the point system is working. Testing the feet and chest connection etc
Sick fight...
I LIKE THIS
Nice match
agreed. I was always trained to do at least 3 or 4 attacks in combination and never stop at one. I was never one to cheer after a point either (although I never competed on this level) but it is still a bad habit to get into.
GrAndeee sebastian sos un orgullo argentinooo!!
Excelente Cook!
opess fantastic realy first fighting
wow, that guy just dominated arron cook. Amazing taekwondo
ORGULLO NACIONAAL.!!
This is because the mindset of most Taekwondo athletes is to score points. Because the objective of WTF Taekwondo is not to hurt your enemy, it is to react quick and give a good counter to rack up points on the chest protector. This is because fundamentaly to win in Taekwondo is quite different than most other fighting sports for example in MMA you just need to land an attack any where and devastate your opponent where as in Taekwondo you can only score by hitting the chest protector or head.
What do you perfer, ITF or WTF style? And why not the other?
good match
awesome..
Good match
Just for the record, Bas Rutten and ANderson Silva are Tae Kwon Do practitioners. Many other K-1 and MMA fighters are Tae Kwon Do practitioners. Choi Hong Hi (my apologies if it's miswritten) developed Tae Kwon Do for the military. Olympic Tae Kwon Do is like Olympic Boxing, points are given according to very different rules than those of normal boxing, MMA, etc.. This style is thus optimized for these rules. BTW, some olympians also fight in MMA and normal boxing.
Yep
Silva has wicked kicks
congratulazioni
Very powerful game
great match when your at this level of tkd anything can happen.. all it takes is one clean hit to the facee >.>
oh man this needs to be an NCAA sport!!!!!!
Where we're the "wicked shots"?
nice game
God, it's like watching Sabre duels. Mentally fast!
Talk for yourself, if you train under WTF, you use mostly kicks, almost nothing else and keep your hands down like this. While in ITF, we use our hands the same amount as legs, and I can say that while learning this, it becomes very effective martial art in real fight :)
Good Fight
excelente combate... saludos a sebastian crismanich.. desde iquique chile...
Tae Kwon Do is an art for self defense, one can easily kill knowing the right techniques and knowing how to use your power, speed, etc. the sport is different. the only way to get TKD recognized in the world is through the sport. if we only taught traditional TKD we would never be excepted in the world because we would all look like killers especially if you can't control your body and don't have any discipline. the sport is just a small part of TKD as a whole.
Taekwondo the best
Super fight
You should try it. Its very hard
Nice fight. ..................
Nice game
I like their frequent brohugs :3
Awesome round house to the body then face!!
Mantap Bro
but between the art and the sport, the art must always be number 1, because it's what's going to save your life.
Sweet!
Y al final quien ganó???
Een mooie partij in Almere, ( a nice fight.)
