  • I got this already, pretty freaking cool keyboard! Works great, a cool feature is when you're not on it for too long it turns off the colors side of it, then when you come back and press a button it lights up again to save battery.

  • Great product razer, i owned a deathstalker chroma, i loved it, but i gave it to my brother for his b-day, and he loved it too! Then i bought myself blackwidow ultimate chroma, and the quality is still amazing! A job well done again razer! I have to say all of your products are great! I own Kraken Pro, Taipan white, Gothalius mouse pad, and im very happy with all of them! GG.

  • its weird to see how so many people have problems with the razer series of items, i've had multiple blackwidows and a couple ouro mice and they worked wonders and never broke. the reason ive bought 4 black widows is because my friends would want them and id sell it to them for half price or something like that. the only one ive had break is my ouro mouse and that's because it fell off my desk and the dog grabbed it, took it to the top of the stairs and dropped it, making it go down 30 steps or so. then it hit concrete and then my little brother picked it up before i got a chance to get it and threw it in the driveway where my father ran it over

    • Sylarzx What are you talking about, this just got uploaded. Btw this wasn't announced any where else. until now. Btw on the facebook page they did gave a hint. But it could've been anything. Soooooooo he wasn't able to "educate" himself on this. And btw the Blackwidow Ultimate is just the same only it doesn't have RGB compatibility. So it simply comes down to: This was officially announced today, The Blackwidow Ultimate is exactly the same as this only that this has more pretty lights; which you can get the same experience other than the RBG feeling. but that doesn't make a difference in performance.

    • Exept corsair has a better pcb, aluminium construction, better switches and will probably cost more. Razer started using kalih switches and instead of saving the consumer money they upped the price and lined their own pockets.

    • peterei3 Don't count on it. Razer has a really bad track record when it comes to APIs, SDKs and third party support in general. Their software is made by the lowest paid Singaporean programmers they can find, who don't know a thing about standards and best practices. The "SDK" for their touch LCD project involved creating your own window then passing it your window handle to render it to the display, with no I/O communications support whatsoever. Utterly useless.

    • Sylarzx I have green switches now and love them. I have heard great things about the Corsair switches though. It'll probably come down to software and amount of programability regarding the lighting animations. The Corsair software is supposedly open source, so we can do some awesome things with it hopefully.

    • yeah the open source thing sounds really cool :D personally i've never tried razer keys cause their boards tend to be more expensive than your typical high end one so naturally i'd go for the cheaper, and more "tested and proven" keys (plus i hated the glaringly green theme of razer product)

  • Ive been using it some years now after i got it from amazon when it was on sale and it still works perfectly except those little grip thingys on the bottom are really poorly connected to the keyboard by some glue :/ razer pls.. Pay attention to the details ok?

  • Firstly I am a Cherry MX fan, I personally love the Cherry MX Browns and have tried all their keyswitches. I have also tried Razers own mechanical switches. I do prefer the Cherry MX variants (yep all of them) over the Razer mechanical ones. I'm not saying don't buy (try before you buy) it, I just believe you should try every key switch out there and pick the one that's best for your needs. I see people in the comments bashing on both Razer and Cherry when both companies bring something different to the table. Just try them all and make sure you're getting something you'll like that'll be worth it for your hard earned money.

    • If you put it in your disk drive, make sure to coat it with water, and also water up the disk drive so it slips inside easier and Razer can get your payment with less hassle. You don't' want to get it jammed!
