  • Language does have effect on people's personality. Some people speak multiple languages and they can have total different personality when they speak different languages. That's very interesting.

    • Yep, learning a new language is an opportunity to develop a new personality, probably a more evolved personality with a more mature lens, not the personality developed as children guided simply by the people around us, chances are they sucked. Learn a new language

    • This video has me wrong entirely. 1) punctual people - why can't I be a creative easy going person who also takes commitment seriously. I schedule for a living and I keep my promises. 2) Vulnerable gait - I tend to scope out my surroundings while I walk around. Hyper awareness. I look people in the eye, but some times (rarely) avoid eye contact when I'm busy working on a project and a co-worker wants to waste time I don't have. 3) Revealing Language - I'm a nerd that uses proper grammar all the time. So much so that I can come off as pompous. I intentionally add in "slang" ironically to add humor and to appear more average. 4) Confident Posture - it's not my fault that I have an extremely long torso and yet only slightly taller than average. I'm not tall enough for "big and tall" and yet my torso is about 3inches longer than average. Shirts are always too short on me. I need to hunch over sometimes because my belly or lower back will show otherwise. 5) Rough Mornings - definitely an early riser. I always have been. I hate night time. 6) Restless tics - I'm constantly drumming / tapping. I am a perfectionist, but I'm not tapping because I'm nervous. I'm doing it because I have a song in my head. 7) Unusual Correlations - hmmm, well I don't ever take pictures and don't even use social media. I gave that up 3yrs ago. I've been a stand up comedian and lead singer in bands, but don't like attention....I'm pretty reserved and private. I just happen to like making music. I don't ever sing in the shower though. I take ice cold showers and swear a lot though, only time I do swear. I like to cook and listen to music that fits the cuisine. I like hiking and camping. For me a good time is learning and/or watching travel videos. Idk, most people mistaken me as being either being angry, confused, or shy. But really I'm never angry I just have RBF, I'm hardly ever confused and if I am I'll tell you....sometimes I just look kinda goofy, doesn't mean I don't understand just means I'm compensating for my RBF and I'm bad at it. I'm far from shy. Hitting on girls and even getting naked in front of strangers doesn't even remotely phase me. speeches and musical performances don't phase me either. I'm definitely a confident person, but I'm not egotistical / narcissistic. I do things for myself not because I want attention. Most humans are full of drama so I avoid them because they're toxic. Americans seem to be very bad at comprehending how someone can be both confident and comfortable with silence.

  • Food related habits could also reveal an individual's personality and behavioural tendencies. Slow eaters tend to be more confident and level headed, while fast eaters are often ambitious, goal-oriented, and bad-tempered. Adventurous eating habits indicate that you are a risk-taker and tend to be pushy or nosey.

    • Well there's a lot of different reasons people eat slow or fast. I developed the bad habit of eating too fast because my lunch break was only a half hour, and we had to stand in line for the microwave. (Wbtw, I NEVER use anymore).

    • Wow. That's interesting. I am a slow eater. It is well known amongst friends & family. I just love sitting down to eat a meal & share the table with loved ones, to truly savour every mouthful. This started after I did a two week fast having only water & salt. I still do a couple of fasts a year to clean my body & it really helped me appreciate every morsel. I am careful to choose nutritious, high quality ingredients & also love to cook. It's the simple things.💞

  • 4. Confident posture. I'm glad this was explored more because simply saying someone lacks confidence because they're slouched or their shoulders are rolled forward doesn't align with almost every boxer or MMA fighter in the world. All of them have this "unconfident" posture, but could anyone say they lack confidence? Sure, but they'd be wrong. Of course, I've considered these extremely confident people may have been unconfident early in life which is why they chose these combat sports to begin with. I also considered that this posture was trained, but it's unlikely. how many people after age 18 have you seen change their posture? In America, where obesity is common, bad posture is also common, so now we have confident people with their "confident posture" hidden behind layers of fat. Also, everyone is staring at their phones which is changing posture ubiquitously. Confidence is in your energy, it's in your presence and your voice.

    @nerddorkdiaries2351@nerddorkdiaries23512 жыл бұрын
    • What are you talking about? Have you ever tried yourself to have this 2 postures? Don't tell me you don't feel the difference. I had downs and ups in my life which affected my inner self and I clearly remember I was having that bad posture when i was down inside and I remember how my chest went forward when I managed to break free from all what was holding me down. It's like with smile, you smile when u feel happy inside and u don't when u don't. Same goes with posture , it reflects your inner confidence. And your boxing arguement is stupid, it's completely 2 difference things. Boxer make that posture mindfully because its better for defence, while postures are talked in the video are something that turns on in autopilot mode

  • The narrator makes the grave mistake in deciding (I hear his tone)that 'Type A' is greater than 'Type B'. Whatever type you may be more like, you cannot change your type, nor should you want to. Appreciate your strengths, learn to understand your weaknesses. Own that you are imperfect. Type A will never have Type B strengths, although both types can master their strengths and Improve upon their weaknesses. Whe. talking about Type A, their weakness is not shown, but is a fixation on big picture, efficiency, but not details. Type B tend to focus on quality of details. More products and services need greater quality. I think we can all agree on that. So we are perhaps lacking Type B's, or putting them in a box, and have too many Type A's, or putting them front and center in all decisions. Leaders may be of other Type. Type A are Not automatically 'leaders' if they neither comprehend, appreciate, nor encourage Type B's, and vice versa.
