So nice to see a young man working and enjoying the automotive craft. Brent is a great teacher.
So great that you are teaching Ryder. The master and the student! He will remember these times for the rest of his life and the skills you are helping him learn will open many doors for him.
That's awesome how you're teaching Ryder all your skills. He looks like a quick learner and seems like a swell kid.
Rider I believe that everybody is proud of you.
Nice to see you're sharing your cardboard cad with Ryder!! Also it's great for him to have a great teacher!!
Hello Brent, the engine sounds great 👍. Good to see Ryder helping out, and learning how to use the shop tools. He has a great teacher as well. Be good and stay safe 👍
Thank you for allowing your ratchet to fall down inside the Pontiac engine bay when you opened the hood. I do stuff like that every day, lol!

Got ya a little Carol Shelby there with the cowboy hat. Awesome he's interested in working with his hands.

Ryder is gaining so much knowledge from you Brent. He already knows more than most kids his age & Hot Rod building will go on because of you teaching him these skills. Ute''s looking Great Mate. Billy J.... Queensland, Australia.
This is my favorite channel,,No fear to try anything. And a backyard parts junkyards!, and if he needs a tool he builds it or buys it.
Ryder looked like bono from U-2 walking behind you with his cowboy hat and sunglasses lol!
I'm Smiling with ya Brent . There's nothing like getting it to that point and she fires and runs. well done brother well done
To me this build is comparable to the building of The General, in that I am loving the progress, the build and don't want it to end as you fabricate so quickly, Brent! 😂 Golden, my friend. Golden.
Great to the young fella showing he is really interested in learning off his grandfather keep it going young man
On your powerstering pump. Make a bracket that mounts to the front of the head and the first header bolt and the PS pump.
This was a nice 45 minutes spent together! Nice to hear it run as well. The power steering mount looks good to me! Glad it’s coming together. It will be nice to see it on the road soon. Thanks for the video! From your uncle north of you.
Great to see Ryder, he's getting good at welding. Love the music. The GMC looks great and the bumper will look perfect ounce modify. It's alive !!! And what a beautiful sound.
Lookin forward to the next round. Great progress and well done to all who had an input. Still a little ways to go, but sure is lookin and sounding mighty good.
Wish Brent was my Grandpa. Hope Ryder knows how lucky he is. 😊
Hi Brent, I think what you need for that cable is called a ferrule, a shaped steel plate with a trough for holding the cable.
always such a plesure to watch you doing the stuff you want to do Brent....and I love the way youre supporting Ryder to learn as much as possible from the master.....yes you are a great man to take all of the skills over to the next gen. Go on buddy....
Ryder is going to learn a lot from you. And not just by watching. Like your hats. Ryder the cowboy and your hat you look Australian. Thanks for sharing! 💯👍👊
I would have given anything to have a teacher like you when I was a kid
It's really nice to see your son , really enjoy your videos . Awesome startup
Happy Saturday Canada 🇨🇦🛻🐕🦺👍👍👍👍✌️
So many wins in this episode. Ryder is quite the shop hand/apprentice. Stay safe.
I don’t know why but I loved that you used the shoe to set up the throttle peddle. Just such a DUH moment. LOL
Awesome it's alive waiting on the shake down drive
A big thank-you for the Saturday video. You might have that ride done just in time to head east to the Atlantic Nationals in July. Greetings from Atlantic Canada.
Great video as usual. Can't wait to see some progress with Ryder and his Dodge. If it's going on a Dakota chassis it will be a nice ride. He is learning a lot and doing well at all of it. Stay safe and be well. Maybe we'll see you at "back to the 50's in June, if the snow is gone by then. Gary
You should take us to the store and on adventures with you.

Good to see young Ryder out on tools . And truck sounds/looks the business,

Brent, and Ryder, for future welding tips! Pby should not weld right beside a battery!! Not advisable, just a safety tip! Really like your progress, it's close to taking on a rip. Glad to see Ryder there too learn . Won't take long, you will be able to do body work! Exciting build, fun watching. Great job Brent, God bless, be safe, jim. Missed seeing Pablo, give him a good rubbing from all his fans

Cool to see you teaching Brent, I do the same with my grandkids. All 7 of them. I like the shoe for setting up the gas pedal clearance, at 66 years old your teaching me too. Thank you
HI BRENT. just watched you start the 49, fantastic video, like how you are showing Ryder all of your talents, man you are great gran-dad. the work on the awesome 49 makes me want to say, I like it, plus your shop is awesome man. I totally enjoy your videos, god bless take care.
You're an excellent teacher, Ryder is learning skills that, no matter what else he does, will last him the rest of his life.
I recall the power steering bracket for the 400 in my '78 T-Bird to be a certain arrangement of pieces to make it work properly. Like the back bumper idea, nice to see Ryder out helping- take care.
I always enjoy your content, particularly when I see you involving Ryder in your rebuilds, he will be gaining countless practical skills, which few modern youngsters will have access to. I am sure his life will be greatly enhanced by his involvement in your amazing projects, especially under your kind and infectious 'Can do, Will do ' instruction. Sadly, here in the U.K. such skills have almost disappeared , in favour of keyboard-tapping and paper-pushing - I am considered a 'bit of a dinosaur' because I have many of the skills and tools that you have - we are a dying race ! Keep up the good work , regards to Esther and dogs!
Enjoyed this video very much. It's alive!
Awesome grampa!! It is super cool that you’re showing your grandson what you have learned over a lifetime, and that he is taking to it like a fish to water!!
I love these videos with teaching the next generation but at the same time I'm so jealous I'm not the 16yo with that much knowledge... Still love me some CowDog cameos!
Great to see Ryder learn something new again. Some big progress in this one. It's alive!! Be safe and stay well.
It lives. somewhere other than in our minds. Be well. Hi Ester.
Austin is going to be fantastic at building things and you both will have memories to last a lifetime
A bumper for a 72 would look cool on the back of their
Da Vinci and his protege ,You are a great teacher ,He will make you proud if he hasn't already ,I can see some future projects coming once his mind develops your ability to see whats not there and make it reality. Only the future knows what you two will create as a team if you go that route. As a writer of things,I know when something makes one see a vision that no one else can comprehend ,You my friend are gifted.
It`s not a Halfass video without the Paublo dance at the end.
glad to see you teaching the young man I think there should be more of that what you are doing is going to become a lost art.
Brent, great to hear it fire up for the 1st time! Sounds really solid! Ryder is lucky to have your mentorship but he also applies himself and produces good results! It looks like a win/win for both of you! Cheers from the desert high country!
Can't run till you can walk... getting stuff knocked out though and I like it 👌
I like that you say we. Makes me feel more included.
Go Ryder, be like a sponge take it all in, it will come too u,doing great, Brett the master as we all see from all he's done..glad ur interested too learn .kudos young man
Congratulations on getting it fired up Brent, it does sound great. Go Ryder go, that is amazing how fast he picked up using that CNC Table and cutting out those brackets and then welding them in! He is going to be one great little fabricator one day because he is already on the way there.
Ryder’s going to be a heck of a fab guy, when gets older! Learning from a great coach!
