@@MultiDesignGuyit doesn't matter. The faster car to lap the track was the Mercedes hence is the fastest car in this specific race followed by the Aristo.
It's like watching a Gran Turismo 4 replay lol. Even the desaturated, muted look matches it so well
This Mark II JZX81 tuned by Yamaha (full name Mark II Yamaha 300 Concept) and make more power than 280, probably around 310whp. But not only engine was upgraded, suspension much stiffer, light BBS wheels, bigger front intercooler etc. Very rare car because made only 300 of them. it's a pity that there is no manual transmission for JZX81. Sorry for my English :)

Мерседес 500E это машина сделанная АМГ и порше, а М5 это пятерка доработанная придворным ателье М)) Марк 81 трд и ямаха - все логично. А то что тюненым мерсу и бмв почти не уступала гражданская аристо, говорит о многом. Еще и пилот постоянно жаловался, что опять трк придушила мотора в повороте

They both won. The Aristo, 500e and M5 are the three fastest car to lap the track. The race is just a racethe time attack is the most important for car comparison.
I use to take my 500E on race track too. The big problem is the over protective ASR. It shut down the power on almost every curve.
How was the handling and braking?
The gearbox too. A 722.6 would have helped alot...
That is by no means an ordinary Mark II. Its understated styling hides the beast within.
Phrase "ordinary JZX81" makes no sense. This is GTE version, which means 280 horsepower is just about legal agreement. 1JZ-GTE meant to be 350-450 horsepower by design, everyone understand it. For about 1.0 bars of boost on all stock components (and even more with best cooling). Absolutely normal to compete with high-tuned AMG and M5 versions. Even regular Mark II 2.5 GT TwinTurbo make the same result with backyard adjusted turbo-valve and better shocks. I'm laughing very loud when someone compares stock supra or mark2 with some natural aspirated engines. Stock old japanese turbo, ahah.
@@Mathvichinogdaily1JZ has 300-320hp not 450hp and the M5 and Mercedes both have the best lap times and both beat the MKII here even the Aristo did.

Toyota Chaser is very underrated, but this a fast car ! Lighter with the amazing 1JZ, it makes it run fast, and the car is very good in corners. What an amazing underrated car that beat way more expensive cars. The Chaser is now getting popular in some places in hands of people who knows what it's capable of.
Toyota Chaser one of the must favorite cars in Russia and one of the best in car history , i drive it, i know it, i love it.
Mark 2 is not a chaser. They share a chassis tho

Да и в целом салоны у немцев поприятнее. Еще мне больше нравится работа подвески на представительских немцах, у японцев она кажется слишком валкой, но это чисто мое субьективное мнение.

They change the gears with 1-2-3 "low" so the cars won't upshift themselves

Esses matulões alemães não são propriamente grandes máquinas em pista são muito pesados e pouco ágeis comparativamente com as flexíveis abelhas asiáticas. Os jdm old school são extremamente rápidos em pista, mestres em curva, já os alemães compensam com binários brutos para as acelerações e recuperações.

That m5 is 3.6 rather than newer 3.8 liter iL6 engine so..
Why, the MK2 with a 1J is a great car and probably lighter. You could see how much better it carried speed in and out of corners. Plus it was having brake fade that kept it from being even faster.
@@Bones12x2 It certainly does so, but they didn't push the bimmer hard enough or something, I don't know. Could also be a modified version of that Toyota. But even so, it would need over 350 hp, and the weight difference is not that big anyway.

@JuicyTomato For the 90s you are very wrong. The Japanese cars has speed limits in 280ps and 180 kh-m and the Germans cars only speed limit in 250 kh-m, hp free. Where you see the German cars is mechanical better? With the same hp you only see the ass of mk2 and aristo. For the outside, i told you before.

@@legioner9 I don’t particularly put the aristo in the same class as an m5 or 500e. I’ve been in that chassis and while it’s good, a modified celsior would’ve been closer in my mind to those. Or a gs430. It’s all relative really. I’m a MASSIVE e34 M5 fan anyway. Lol

@@iharo1727 В каком это месте он больше срезает? Мерс и бэха едут за ним след в след, только на поворотах их больше выносит на внешний радиус из-за большей массы. В одном моменте бэха так вообще по гравию пролетел. Они тяжелее его на 160 и 210 кг соответственно, это как он с пассажирами. Марка даже пару раз в повороте немного занесло, с педалью газа пилот переусердствовал.

Это теперь мой любимы ролик на ютубе)))))))))) Японцы показали что все нормальные люди знали и так - басня про супермощь и суперуправляемость немецких ведер не более чем басня. Опозорились они тут знатно! 2.5 турбомарк просто уехал от этого немецкого металлолома)))
И до чего же позорно даже внешне выглядят немецкие ведра... По сравнению с 81-м марком который пошел в серию в 1988-м кажется что жуткие бнв и мерс как минимум лет на 10 старше - угловатые, несуразные, страшенные как атомная война...
