What is the key to catching the ball so well. Every time I try i move to slow and it just goes over my head
Practice I guess? I try and "catch with my hands" and position my body around the yellow cylinder to shield the defender when possible. Other than that, just a lot of practice reps I suppose :)
It just takes practice. ; ) That's why this game is so fun imo. You really have to practice.
What helped me was trying to throw the ball in a way that the receiver is straight in line with the throw. That way you only have to move forward. Not left or right when going for the catch.

After I catch the ball it doesn't let me run.. how do I run with the ball?
how do you keep running with the reciever after the catch, for me when I catch it, it freezes then turns the camera to a running angle
I use the manual receiver setting with either leading or catchzone. They only have one cut scene and feel more natural and FUN to me. It took a month or two to get used to it, but it takes the gameplay to an entirely different level.

Also it's not possible to throw the ball 90 yards anymore right, last time I saw it happen was 2-4 yes ago
The deep ball is really about elevation and timing. Throw it high and hard and it will go far
Yeah that's what I do now but idk why the dbs are really slow for u
@@snickaOG My plays are designed to create matchups with my fastest WR on a LB. I try and throw it to open space and beat them to the location when the ball is in the air. Once you catch it, the DBs become Usain Bolt. Timing is key.
