    @NewDemons666@NewDemons6662 жыл бұрын
    • I run approx the same build, luk/fidanza, cst4 17psi peak, no cats, top mount. makes approx. 290-300 whp on a mustang dyno. I have noticed that I make way more torque than the hp figure, and the luk has the tendency to let go completely if I put the power down early, before 4500rpm. roll into boost rather than stabbing it on a highway pull. you might want to get something grabbier than an oem replacement friction disk. also, the fidanza makes SO much noise, if you pull up next to a building, it sounds broken. clacky clack

    @stormb3948@stormb394824 күн бұрын
    • The transmission built into these cars is very lazy, not necessarily bad but you will hear a lot of noises and experience jerks especially between gears 1&2. A lot of people fix this issue with a short shifter, idk what he has in the video but that’s what I’d guess. It’s smoother if you pull the clutch out slowly, also like this guy you can rev match nicely on the downshifts. I doubt it’s the engine mounts tbh.

    @damiondoan164@damiondoan1642 жыл бұрын
    • They can be. but you need to do maintenance on a LOT of things if you're getting one in the 4-5k range. the common failure points more often than not are neglected, and tend to suddenly break, leaving you stranded. Check for, suspension in good shape, including bushings, HPFP internals if tuned, VVT/Timing replaced and done properly, AC compressor replaced if around 120k, Oil cooler plate that sits on your oil filter assembly, idler and tensioner pulleys for the serpentine belt, suspension bushings, particularly sway bar mount bushings, they are always dust and will give you the infamous rear end clunk, pivot shaft seal on top of your transmission tends to leak, DO A COMPRESSION TEST AND SHOOT FOR NEAR 160 ON ALL CYLINDERS, Cylinder 3 runs leaner than the others due to the intake manifold design, can and will run lean with a shit tune and that cylinder is always the first to go zoom zoom boom. 2nd gen, for overall reliability, is leagues above a gen1. however, it will hold your hand much more aggressively with the driver assists. gen1 has none of that, barely even tries to wrangle the torque steer. I own a gen1, and this is the list of shit I had to do immediately after purchase, costing around 4k for just parts, me doing all the work.

      @jkon156@jkon1562 жыл бұрын
    • @Jared amen. My gen 2 just had its turbo oil seals go. Getting it right now as we speak. Though I do have a lot bolt ons along woth cat back and a catless downpipe. So that probably didn't help. Ended up going woth a cst4. You're lucky you can do all the work yourself. Minor stuff I'm fine with but I don't have the experience nor time sadly.

  • Do you heel and toe on your downshifts?

    @inixratedini@inixratedini2 жыл бұрын
    • Yeah I do. Do it kinda backwards tho. I use heel on brake instead of on gas. I find it easier to blip accurately with my toe.

    • @@ZJSProMedia okay i know I was hearing it but your foot movement wasn’t showing it. Yeah I can’t really heel and toe I’m practicing that way but not working so far lol. I got a Speed3 gen1 also.
