I guess I saw this before but wanted to comment again. Very nice and successfully done. I just finished another one and also signed it with the Laser Pecker.
That is so nice, we will checkout your new one too. The Laser Pecker2 is our favorite for marking/engraving bowls and larger pieces
Fantastic piece!
Many thanks!
Excellent the bowl, a pleasure the video, not least because of the wonderful music, very well and coherently chosen. When the outer shape of the bowl became recognizable, I felt a little shock, as it obviously took the shape of a piss pot from the hospital. When the whole thing was finished, I could breathe a sigh of relief, because the different colors and also some small revisions to the outer shape, you could change the impression. Now the bowl has a bit of an old school design, were it made of silver or shiny metal it would be an adornment for a small castle or a noble hunting lodge. I like that a lot. Your CV is very exciting to read, it must be fun to live and work in a wood turning family. I would love to see that, but Germany is way too far away. A subscription will keep me up to date on your other projects, so we're still many miles apart, but we're a little closer together in spirit. Everyone take care of yourselves and stay healthy, Schorschi from northern Germany.
Danke, danke! We appreciate your thoughtful comments. Be sure and share them with your other friends and contacts, etc.

Waowwwww amazing👍👍
From Italy : bravo ! Fantastico !
Grazie gian!
@@exeterwoodworks 👍
Nice bowl. Was wondering. If made a larger cone(diameter) and used cheap wood for cone, would it work still? So you could make peices of hardwood not as big and not need to fill centre of blank as it only gets cut away and wasted. I know you would then need to make a base. But be cheaper on wood.
Interesting idea, i'd say definitely give it a try and let us know how it goes
Beautiful! I love the walnut foot on it too. The shape is stunning of the finished piece.
Thank you so much! Your work looks stunning also ✨🙂

Gorgeous piece! I hope you saved the wood shavings for a future project! 🤟😁
Yes! We saved some of the shavings, most looked like confetti 🎉Definitely need to brainstorm on a good project to use them in 🤔
Qué belleza de trabajo, muchas gracias por compartir, saludos desde Perú.
Muchas gracias, me alegro de que hayas disfrutado viendo cómo se hace este proyecto. Todo lo mejor
Nice bowl. What do you use the tape measure on the tool rest for?
Thanks Stevio, we use it for smaller projects and marking/centering.
Im inspired by this, got the blocks cut and would eyeball the slicesbut id figured I'd ask at what degree are your slices
Hi Tim, Thank you for your gracious comment. We used an angle of approximately 15 degrees. The exact angle may vary a little since it depends on the thickness of your block. Let us know how you finish!
@@exeterwoodworks will do, appreciate it
Awesome.Love the wood choices. What are they?.I have subscribed to your channel looking forward to future projects.
Thanks for the sub Jack 🙂 Walnut, maple & padauk
Super tare 🌽🌽🌽🌽🌽🌽🍯🍯
Beautiful bowl. What angle did you choose for each piece?
Thankyou Danya, the exact angle depends on the dimensions of the piece you are using. To get two equal wedges cutting from corner to corner our angle was approximately 15deg. Hope this helps!
Wow, that is so gorgeous! What angle was the wedge that you used to cut the pieces on the bandsaw?
Hi Caral, the angle we used is approximately 15 degrees. The exact angle will depend on the thickness of the piece(s) you are dividing corner to corner. Practice dialing it in on a few scrap pieces first.
Great work ..what's the spray at the end ?
The spray finish we used was lacquer
Bellissima ciotola
Grazie mille
Did you do anything to clean up the bandsaw cuts before gluing them together?
Yes, we lightly sanded each side that had a bandsaw cut to ensure tight glue joints. Decided not to include footage of sanding each piece to keep the video moving and not too long!
How did you add your logo? What type of laser did you use
Hi William, we use the Laser Pecker 2. Very user friendly and easy to use, definitely our favorite engraver
Would have been nice to see the roughing cut on the O.D.
We try to include every aspect of the turning project in a reasonable amount of time without making the video too long 🙂 Thank you for your input.
I wish the wood turning wasn't skipped
Wait, we skipped the wood turning? 🤦♂️
@@exeterwoodworks skipped some. I just meant from the very start all the way thro
@@kila9288 no problem, we try to keep most videos from being too long, will keep in mind including more start-to-finish footage in future projects. Thank you for your input! ☺
@@exeterwoodworks i totally understand that. Thank you for keeping it in mind. The piece turned out amazing nonetheless
Sir, give me one piece Please 🙏 🙏 🙏
🍰
Stunning!!!
Thank you!!
