It seems like the other commenters were so dazzled by the quality of the woodwork and the final result that no one has mentioned that the camera work and editing were also amazing.
SPECTACULAR. And the football-field reference *actually* made me LOL. Humor AND artistic skill -- you are a man of many gifts! The pattern you designed for this bowl is delightful. Thank you for sharing all your hard work here. I always enjoy every new video.
Reminiscent of Native American basket weaving. Fantastic!
I was thinking the same thing
Yes, I thought the same thing!
Комментарий в поддержку канала и ролика, а также труда мастера Оливье.
I appreciate that this segmented method not allows for creating interesting, intriguing designs, but also reduces the wood waste. Very nice.
Thank you for no talking, your work is superb
Good thing in your wood works is, you save unnecessary wastage of wood. One like for not wasting resources
This kid is the best on KZhead!
You are the GOAT of woodturning...
Talent + Patience + a little Skill = Beautiful Work
Incredibly good woodwork from an incredibly good looking guy.
As an American, thank you for converting to (one of our silly) imperial units. We usually use it on slightly larger things, but it's more valid than metric in the US. 😉 - Beautiful turning, BTW!
Bravo Olivier !
Talent + Patience = beautiful work.
BEAUTIFUL bowl. Love the American Indian design it has.
It takes a lot of planning just to come up with this awesome model. Congrats
@Oliver Gomis --- Non trovo parole per elogiare la tua bravitù, ammirevole anche il servizio video, con i tempi e le pause giuste giuste. Complementi vivissimi.
You're getting your money's worth with that table saw for sure.
For me this is ASMR very calm and relaxing
Only one word: Wow!!! 👏👏👏
As my adhd screams in horror, I am always super impressed with your patience in making these meticulously gorgeous creations!
You don’t have things you end up hyperfocusing on?
@@ragnkja Yes, for short periods of time. :)
Another Oliver Gomis remarquable video production, travail du bois fantastique!
Not only are you a great craftsman, but you have a wonderful way of editing. Highly entertaining.
Dude is the freaking Michelangelo of wood turning... Makes me wanna chuck my knives!
Love your American jab!
Wow. Amazing craftsmanship.
Excellent! Design, choice of woods, building process, the turning, finishing and the videography all packaged up in a 10 minute video. Gorgeous bowl!
finally!.. a proper bowl that can hold my daily serving of ice cream
No words can adequately describe the beauty of this piece of art. The thought process and craftsmanship is brilliant. This piece will last as a family heirloom for many generations!
You keep exceeding expectations with every project you do. Phenomenal. The pattern reminds me of the beautiful weaving of the American indigenous tribes, especially the Navajo. Thank you for sharing your art.
Amazing craftsmanship. The fact this has 44 👎baffles me. Keep up the great work. 👍👍👍👍
Again, Beautiful work young man!
detailed and very workmanship, the result is wonderful
I think I'm getting it. Every time you start an elaborate design, theres so much glue jobs and pieces to assemble have time to design an even more elaborate piece
Talent, patience plus a sense of irony - ca c'est Olivier Gomis! ;-)
I believe wood working experts dream of making a fine one off pieces like this, but never figure how to do such work. Very cool
So much work and so lovely! The best.
Beautiful bowl, Olivier!
Magnifique comme d’habitude. Bravo.

You are most talented for such a young man, I cannot wait to see where you evolve to with your skills. 22 years old and extremely accomplished and talented. I expect we will see unbelievable work from you as your skills evolve! Amazing!
He may be fully evolved I think .

This is incredible. I really want someone to teach me how to turn. I love the artistry, craft & skills needed.
You Mr. Olivier, are creating treasure. Thanks for sharing your talent & gift.
I don’t see how people could not like your bowel, nice work.
Excellent work Olivier.👌➕
You always have such great videos...love the bits of humour in it...you must be one of the most patient people to do all those tiny pieces and then put all the rings together...another amazing job! 😁
I love your segmented ring jig!
That is breathtakingly beautiful.
I have been looking at yr vedios from in the early day and I say you have talent
Spectacular bowl! I’ve never seen that technique of cleaning up a bowl bottom. Will definitely add that to my arsenal.

8:40 niiiice)))
Using the router and a pattern bit to finish the bottom is genius. I'm going to have borrow that idea. This is an excellent piece of art. Congratulations!
I like this huge segmented flower you made inside this bowl.
Beautiful piece. Nice work
superb work - both the bowl and the video
Absolutely beautiful
Beautiful! Lovely choice of colour/wood as well, it reminds of antique Greek pottery :)
The last part then ... a "precisely fussy" ... make a detail that if there is no one notices it ... but if there is everyone goes "proud" ... then done with the precision and dedication with which "the previous everything" is done ... I have no words ... 👏👏👏👍👍👍
I like that segmented bowl.
Breathtaking!
C'est tres joli ce que tu fais !! Tu as du talent et de la dextérité, on le voit quand on te regarde travailler !!!
Ο
Amazing talent, Olivier. From Martin South Africa

Great job Sir. Congratulations from 🇧🇷 👏 👍
Magnifique réalisation
Incredible work!
It's quite amazing that you have the vision to know how that will turn out. And of course, the skill to make it happen. Well done.
Beautiful work!
You've outdone yourself this time. IMO it's the best piece you've posted. I tip my cap.
bloody awesome!!
Wow. Skills. Design to completion!
Beautiful work.
Stunning. Jealous of your talent, but also your workshop!
Gorgeous!! Thanks for sharing.
Awesome piece - well done.
the thickness, the planning, the math, the clamps! it is mind blowing!
Saying good or very good ... the best ... would not do justice to the concept that I allow myself to express ... watching this video and / or the previous ones, the appreciation of his work and above all for the his way of working ... for his ability to convey the right sensations at the right time and in the right way. I speak both of the shots and of when and how to slow down or speed up the transmission of the video ... there were times when I saw what I "needed" at that moment ... or a particular or an overall vision ... And this without detracting from the "carpenter's" skill ... she gives the impression of breathing wood ... not just knowing it ... In my opinion, being able to come up with such beautiful and elaborate objects ( complex ... "complexly elaborate" I would say) in such a "simple" way ... so much so that it seems simpler than it is ... it's like MASTERS ... CONGRATULATIONS REALLY ... DON'T STOP !!! 👍👍👍💪💪💪👏👏👏👏👏👏
That's incredible, I hope you were amply rewarded for your artistry.
