  • Great video, as a titans fan fat Albert didn’t work in Washington because the titans just let our defensive ends wreck havok, the system for the d line in Tennessee was bull rush and kick whoever’s in front of you ass the entire game. The redskins it was more about gap control and taking on double teams and sometimes triple teams and Albert and not many players were made for that kind of defense

  • I'd probably give Javon Walker a break here. Let's not forget he was never the same after Darrent Williams was murdered. Williams literally died in Walker's lap. That's some horrible trauma to endure.

  • Some of the honorable mentions are examples of desperation by a team. It's not that this player is worth that money, but we need a player of at least their talent so we will pay them as if they are a higher talent and assume that is the case. Its a move usually done by someone desperate to fill the shortcomings of their drafting and free agency finds from a season before, or to patch the roster they obtained from someone else. There's only so much talent to go around but to bid against yourself for a player you know and everyone knows is a reach is a quick way for someone to reach for your contract as GM/HC and tear it up.

    • He was a fun player in Seattle but you knew when he left he was gonna get paid to take on a bigger role. I don't think the financials for a 5 year/40 million is the worst deal if he had continued growing as a player. I think it was a rare worthwhile risk by Washington under Snyder considering just how bloated WR salaries randomly got.
