This is why they say not everyone can be a teacher. Break down was so on point. Even the T Jass clip showcased what went wrong. You took your time and it shows in your views!!
@Demarcus Okay Mr. Philosopher 🙄😂
@Demarcus The fact that everyone CAN be a teacher isn't necessarily false, it's just that alot of people shouldn't become teachers, because some are in fact horrible at it. Take example from parenting and you can find alot of horrible parents who can barely take care of themselves.
@Demarcus WTF are you talking about bruh. You posting on wrong video !!???

As a comp sci student, I loved the coding script method that you did. So creative and helpful
Glad to see it resonating! Gotta do more of that.
@Coach Frikki please 🙏🏽
agreed, very cool. Keep it up! Love your stuff.
it's like if he was a programmer for 2k
I watched the best pick and roll team when I was a season ticket holder for the Utah Jazz with Karl Malone and John Stockton. Perfection!
Honestly, the value in this video is incredible. Thank you so much for sharing the break-down of the pick & roll to the minute details.
Such quality and plain explanation. I wish I had someone in my life that could teach like this. I would have been a much better point gaurd with advice like this. Keep up the quality work!
Coach frikki, I really appreciate your videos, I learn so much from them. Nobody explains basketball to me the way you do. Thank you
For such a long time I have tried to understand, with precision, what the pick and roll is and how it works. This video does a superb job explaining it. Best video out there! Thank You.
Holy, my skill in basketball has been stuck for months until I found your channel. Tysm for uploading these videos keep up the good work❤❤
I watched a few videos on pick n roll trying to understand it. This is the one that made it click. Thank you
I have never seen such a good video that realy tells you how to play a good pnr i was actually schocked. And what i really loved was when u got 3 seconds to call the right pass. U really see that this coach knows what he does.
Over the past 2+ years, I've picked up basketball seriously. I always used to play, but it was just because my friends did. By the time I began loving the game on my own and actually got passionate about it, the pandemic hit. It's been hard trying to improve as a player and learning everything on your own but KZhead and the internet were there to help. But the most helpful, by FAR, was finding your channel. Your breakdowns on dribble moves, defense, shooting, P&Rs and more were HUGE to my game. I literally learned every bit of defense and driving from your videos and it's helped me so much. I finally made my school team and managed to get on the starting 5. Can't thank you enough.
I get too excited for your videos, im pausing constantly, rewinding 5 secs too often and jump in amazement everytime you explain something so obvious yet so incredibly important. Masterpiece!
THANK YOU FOR THIS EXCELLENT VIDEO!! Yes, I’m shouting - because I have viewed at least a 1/2 dozen YT videos on the PnR (most if not all from prominent BB “explainer” channels) & *none* comes close to this one - clear verbal explanation, lots of examples, and a step-by-step review of all the options for using the PnR. Plus - & the more I think about it, I think this is a crucial part of what makes your video so good - NO voiceover narration from the creator. The play-by-play by the broadcast announcers is fine, but with the other videos I watched, the VOs were verbose & distracting. You gave super-concise statements of the key learning points & then let the video clips do the talking. Thank you so much (see, I stopped shouting) for enabling me to understand what I’m seeing when watching games.
Superb readings, editing and track choice. Already my favorite, go-to ball channel!
Thank you for this! Very informative and I appreciate how you broke down the simplest and most fundamental sequences down to the details for a beginner like me.
You’re the best basketball teacher I’ve watched on KZhead. I’m learning so much from your videos. I’m 22 and never played organized ball. I’ve always been quick, athletic, decent handle and shot, but I really feel like I’m improving so much through your videos alone
One of your top videos (and that's saying something!). Love the repetition of the audio clips for emphasis. A great teaching tool.
I've been waiting for a proper video explaining how should one roll after setting a pick, especially in regard to ideal spacing, timing, etc. My prayers have been answered 🙏🏻 I'm gonna re-watch this every week before my games
Incredible content. Great cues and tips, great break downs. I can't imagine how long it takes to piece everything together
The best pick and roll video that I have ever seen, congrats for this piece of art, now I'm going to masterize my p&r
I want to thank you for going out of your time and making these educational videos, so far I have a far better understanding of the sport than I did before, God bless.
Wow, just an absolute wow for you. This video is an amazing piece of work. Thank you making this.
It's real nice to see you back coach
This video is one of the best basketball breakdowns ive ever seen! Thanks coach
This is an incredible video! I especially love how you mix in footage from different levels of basketball (not just NBA athletes). But even the details of this video deeply satisfy. The calming music, the timing of the edits, the clarity of the text. Absolute 10/10 job on this. Thank you!
Appreciate it bro. More to come!
Loved this video. So many recorded examples to understand what you are talking about. Great stuff!
I’ve been looking all over for a video like this for the last few months! Thank you
Amazing breakdown like always Coach Frikki!! Always putting out great, useful videos!
I appreciate that - not gonna stop until I've covered everything about this beautiful game!
This is Thee Best pick and roll video I've seen. Great break down!
thank you for the tips! it really opens my mind on how to do a proper PnR and not only to gives a screen without further action to make a separation or an open space
Loving these videos, keep up the great work, Coach Frikki!🏀 Hooper for Life.
Coach your videos are frikkin helpful, much love for you

I was just thinking about searching for this 😂😂 thank you!!
Great job ! Simple, Clear ans concise explanation !
Great job! Im so greatful for the time and intentionality you put into thus video!
I never knew screening was this complex. Another great video.
One of the best Channel out here! Coach Frikki I would love to see a video that would help 90% of hooper out of here: a depth guide for how to play as an undersized and unathletic hooper (majority of player are not as quick or tall as Nba or Pro hoopers, so this could be helpful for :P)
Great analysis brother!! This is called real basketball content for growth of game ❤❤❤
Most helpful video I have ever watched. Big thanks!
Top notch content! I've been waiting for a good overview of the PnR on YT for a while.
learned so much from this. Thanks for sharing man!
The music fits perfectly and doesn't get boring. The editing is amazing. The structure of the video is excellent. Examples from different sports look interesting. Nice and useful high quality video (☆ω☆) It would be interesting to read a book about basketball written by Frikki
Thank youuu for da tips coach frikki
this is absolutely amazing material to learn from - keep it up boss
Really great examples and breakdown. I’ve seen so many screens irl and on KZhead be used terribly where the ball handler just ends up going iso on one defender after another after screens. Very few KZhead 2v2 creators use pnr. They just iso while the teammate stared and waits for the ball
Yeah definitely agree. The PnR culture has to change. Why would you want a slow iso over a wide open three or slip to the basket?
@@CoachFrikki Yeah and it makes the team predictable and the game harder than it needs to be. I know one player who will complain about getting double teamed in a pickup game but he doesn’t get that the other team has him figured out. He’ll never pass so they just surround the iso player and he ends up losing the ball or calling weak fouls. I’m going to keep your vid in mind when I play this week and remind my teammates to roll or pass to the open screener.
Beautifully explained.
Excellent work ! As a basketball fan I really appreciate it.
You've helped me so much, thank you!
This video is a work of art.
watched another pick and roll video from another youtuber and I fall asleep... urs totally opposite, very on point and detailed, thanks for another great video
this series is awesome!
Thank you for the video. It's really really good video for understanding the best game on the planet.
Best hoop channel out there keep it up I love the content shi helps me so much ❤️🤘
this is one of your best videos, I liked when you reuse the voice of larry bird to mikey
Glad you're back bro!
Hi coach frikki, I have been a follower of your videos for a long time now, and my offense has improved alot. So my question is if you could make a video, where you talk about all the things needed to get great at offense, or maybe just a playlist with all your videos of offense. Thank you
love that lax clip. both sports have similar moves and footwork.
This was great and really insightful
one of the best video of the channel 👌keep it going sir 💯💯
I've been waiting for a vid to come out from this man
Same
I love your videos. They are really helpful for me
I love pick and roll play Thank a lot
I like how you include the women's leagues. fundamentals are a constant.
Excelente video. Muchas gracias por compartir.
This video is elite! Huge thanks
That's a pure gold, appreciate it a lot
I love the MJ part, "Stop it! Get some Help!!!" I totally laughed out loud on the bad screening!!!
I was Literally a bad playmaker and learned a lot playing 2k... I'm not the best one but improved enough to be the PG in street games
Can your next video be about defense such as zone or something like basketball iq test for advanced players
Great Video! Can you make a video on all the different post moves and shots from the low post to the high post
4:50 never thought I’d come across if statements in a coach frikki vid hahaha
This channel is special
It's perfect! I'm going to subscribe.
Amazing breakdown, thanks coach. Just one small comment - in the Stockton/Malone empty side clips, we are in the era of illegal defense, so the help defender is forced to go late, otherwise they get a whistle. Nowadays you'll rarely get a side PnR THAT empty, and even more in Europe/FIBA rules, where no Defensive 3" means someone can camp under the paint to help on all rolls. That does free the skip pass, though.
The idea of a triangle on the PnR has changed my game. Never viewed it as this way, and has already made my game SO much better!
Man w video actually know what you talking about that’s why I subscribed
thank you for this clip!!
You are the best coach
Best basketball breakdown ever bro
Best one yet!
*Defender looks at screen, reject 0:45 *Defense goes under, shoot 1:48 *Score vs a switch, stay away from both defenders 4:08 *Slip screens 6:00 *Defense chases, 2v1 6:43 *How to get a 2v1 7:53 read dropping defense, if good defense pass fake
Best explained PnR video - thank you
I wish there is a handout for this. The breakdown is very instructional you can make a drill out of it.
Ayy my boy finally uploading again! I used to watch you on the daily
haha cs major here and the python if statements took me off guard so cool

4:51 Never thought that Coach Frikki is a Programmer too :). I very like this video.
Love & admiration from Northeast part of india..
this man really wrote code for the PnR I cant hahaha
Always trying something new haha. It might be humorous, but you can learn a lot from analysing options in different situations like this. Writing them down in terms of if-then statements.
@@CoachFrikki It made understand it so much better, I would definetely love if you could keep it and then also show the video examples for the if statements. Regardless really good video as always Coach Frikki
Yeah I would have loved to do that but situations 2 and 3 don't happen that often. That Celtics clip from the Christmas games was the only clip I had.
Amazing video 🙏
You just explaned a full man game 🔥
damn learned a lot there!
Currys game 4 of the 22 finals was a pick n roll reading masterclass
Can your next video be about post moves and everything a post player should know and basically everything about posting up
