Love how he says don’t deploy them without protection. Proceeds to use his unprotected thumb.
There’s no edge on the back
I believe he said it wrong the first time lol. He keeps saying not to set them without protection after that. But yes I agree it a do as I say not as I do lol
He used finger protectors.
Cause he pushes the bottom of the blade where it can't spring into your finger
If you paid attention to anything in his video, he says do not deploy them with your fingers in the way pushing the blades back to position you would want to use your finger guards for deployment them on the back end of the blade that is not sharp it’s not what he said details buddy details
We need lusk to test these
I was thinking the same thing. Be great to see him test these.
@@jamesmarshall7099 yeah it seems like a good idea in theory. I want to see it in action though.
Amen, Lusk is the best.

Lusk will let you know which StaySharp Guide to use
If i were still looking to shoot expandables, this would probably be the ones id want to try. Seems to be very well thought out. Good job Bowmars.
You know they have this crazy design of broadhead, where the blades are pre deployed, it eliminates all room for mechanical failure. I highly recommend
Glad to see someone made this style broadhead, I’ve had this idea for a spring loaded (like a spring loaded punch) for a few years. They sound great can’t wait to try them
I truly believe that you don't cut corners on your products. I'd buy these and go to choot stuff with'em without any hesitation.
These are some incredible looking expandables. If the Lord is willing, I'm looking forward to getting into single bevels before season ends 2024
Just wanted to say I love your hunting videos they’re awesome
That’s awesome man can’t wait to use them
Only problem I see is how do they stay open when going through an animal? If you can push the blades back with your fingers..?
15lbs of spring force keeps them open so thats enough force to keep them open in the animal. but i'd imagine they will collapse exiting through the ribs and leave a small exit hole. also im going to guess they don't expand completely in dense tissue if the blades are anything but perfectly sharp. but maybe meat cuts easier when its being cut super fast.... you can throw a knife into a tree deeper than you can stab it so maybe theres some similarity with meat...
Exactly, how will they stay open? If u can push them closed that easily with your fingers, no way are they going to stay open while blowing thru an animal.
Here's another thought. Why wouldn't we want them a bit closed? We really want a pass ? But fail to get it consistently with big mechanical brawdheads. So what if these brawdheads prevent the arrow from too much resistance, enabling it to collapse and pass through tough areas and expand through the organs. Keeping enough moment to consistently provide a pass through of the deer.... now I'm sure these wernt designed for that purpose, but its an interesting thought... but to visualize how this brawdhead would stay open. What's easier, slowly pushing a knife through cardboard or quickly stabbing it... the slicing of a blade is far more efficient so 15lbs of outward force slicing at 200fps would probably be enough to keep them open.
@vrod1136 as a butcher and a hunter, warm meat slices extremely easy, with a razor blade like these, 15lbs of spring force is 15× more than is necessary for slicing meat. Also, with passing by ribs, rather than bend the blade upon impact, they spring back, then redeploy, again, at 600+mph, (triple the speed the arrow is flying at) and return to slicing the internal organs, and they'll do the same upon exit. Also, in my experience, with cryo treated blades, assuming a proper heat treatment first, and depending on the exact cryo process, you can see between 10 and 40% durability increase over standard.
This is such a cool head. Waiting for the 3” version. You gotta build one for the knuckle draggers pushing over 110 fpe. Let’s go!
Can you send a pack to lusk archery to test???
Wow brother. Awesome info. Where they being sold in Australia. Any ideas ?
I’m definitely interested. I need to see some testing first
Lusk Archery Adventures did the test already on youtube.
So :the blades apparently do NOT LOCK OPEN? If not what keeps them open to slice meat?
Oh I'm definitely going to try these broadheads but I also want to ask you I don't know if you've done a segment on releases if you have not you should think about it
Couldn’t find them in the website when will these be available?
Gonna get some for sure
They look pretty nice. Im assuming that these are not designed for crossbows?
Finally they made a broadhead!! Definitely will be buying these! I always hit low with a mechanical head I don’t think these will!
Well done Bowmar
Where can I get some would love to do some field testing?
Looks solid and always enjoy supporting fellow people from Ohio.
Would love to see this head in a three blade with the same retention system
Same. I personally prefer 3 or 4 blade broadheads. I'd actually be tempted to try these out though to see how they work.
@@hunterdan2002 I’ve always taken into consideration the bayonet system. Ya know, can’t stitch up a triangular hole, feel as if a lot of the 2 blade holes do close up on some heads
@@baileynapier7080I've shot a bunch of deer now with 2 blade heads (ever since swhacker stopped selling their 3 blade mechanicals) and I haven't been impressed with them. Yes, the deer died, found all but one that left zero blood and showed no signs of being hit even though in the video you can see the arrow go in and come out. I've used swats in the past, and will be switching back to them this year, and will be trying an ozcut fixed blade as well, just to try it out as I've never shot a fixed blade out of a crossbow.
Looks awesome, how would they work on low poundage. Say 58lbs 29 draw.
Sara Bowmar has taken a few larger African Animals with hers and if i remember she's pulling 60# and at a shorter draw length . Don't quote me on that though
My only concern would be how they stick basically straight out. More leverage to break blades off. They do appear to be the most aerodynamic mech head I’ve seen. If you can’t get these to fly you have issues.
There’s definitely more aerodynamic mechanical broadheads. Sevrs and thorn braoadheads have almost no planing surfaces on them at all, which allows them to fly more like field point than any othe mechanical heads I’ve seen.
Have you ever seen a sevr or a swacker?
Lusk will let me know all I need about theses bad boys
how do they stay open once deployed in an animal? wheres the link to buy them also?
How do they do putting em in the quiver ??? ?????????
With such a light amount of pressure to deploy the blades, do you think about using the beast broadhead with a traditional recurve bow??
Don’t use these on a trad bow 💀💀💀💀
these work great with traditional equipment and theyre way more forgiving than fix blades. you'd love them. theyd also make great small game head after you shot your big buck. theyre never break and the blades will never bend. they'll just get duller over time.
@luskarcheryadventures needs a pack to do his tests on them
Imma try them they look pretty solid and seen a video he posted shooting through a scapula into the opposite rib cage 👍
I like the design of these and I already use your other products such as nose button and grip tape but would really like to see these in a video being shot, flight, penetration, accuracy etc.
How do you feel using the nose button
I like it a lot. I don’t like using a peep so the button helps keep my anchor even in low light and when it’s super cold out and I have a face mask on. It comes with tying material as well and Josh has a video on here teaching u how to tie it so it’s rock solid and doesn’t move. Slick, simple little design.
Sweet! Thank you
@@elirvca1794 your welcome
When will they be available and where can we get them? I haven’t seen them on your website
What keeps them open once deployed? With how easy you close it seem like in a forward motion going through mass it would close
Hope you’ve got your supply chain in order. Your going to sell out quickly
Amazing!!!
What holds the blades open as they encounter heavy tissue or bone? Given the ease of closure from the tips it seems they would just close back up on penetration resistance.
I am curious about this as well. If they stay deployed, they look like a winner, if not, pass.
This….
Ive never not had a pass thru end up in dirt , trees or whatever lol, lucky i guess haha, a lot have issues with pass thru but i havnt. With that being said can they or have them been resharpened?
Will these work in a padded quiver?
When are you going to tell us who won the Africa trip hunt
awesome
so what actually deploys them? since you’re deploying them by pushing out on one of the blades? also what holds them deployed? since you’re closing them by just pushing them in? basically if a shot hits a shoulder or rib bone the blade is going to fold back in??
Let the hatin’ begin 😂
What speed of crossbow are these broadheads rated for
First Look at the broadhead, but no close-ups of the broadhead? The camera is all on him?
We love you Josh
Since you cant pull your arrow out with head attached does that make it barbed? With a pass through and arrow stuck in the ground, do you push it out the other side to china?
My guess it would damage the spring mechanism. You don't keep a shovel in your truck?
Interesting! 🤔
Any news if they work in a cross bow bolt ?
His traps are insane bro 😂😂😂😂
Nice
OK, let's see we'll see what lusk says
He already did a video on them. He gave them high marks
How much poundage do I need for these mechanicals
Would y’all consider a three blade design?
We're do you buy the broad head
When is there gonna be another deer video
When will the beast broadheads be on the market
I wounder how these would work from the faster cross bows likr 450 fps-520 fps
Love your brand and everything about it! Can’t wait to get my hands on some beast broadheads they are just sold out at the moment.
But how do they hold up against concrete blocks? Apparently that’s the KZhead standard test method.
$52 for a 2 pack 😮 love bomar products but cant make myself pay for just 2 of them
U must be broke
No sir not broke just doesn't make sense why just two when normally 3 or more is the standard 🤔

Idk about it, its hard to beat a G5 megameat
Sevr’s are a little better, but not by much.
@@progradepainting3755my buddy is a die hard sevr user and he's 2 deer into the megameat and is loving it. Way bigger cut
@@progradepainting3755I shot sevr but switched to mega meat!
@@johnlee8123 but you can’t pin the mega meat blades down like you can with sevr’s. That’s what makes severs superior to the other mechs. You can actually shoot, tune, and practice with the actual broadhead using that set screw to pin the blades. That’s what makes sevr’s so awesome.
@@progradepainting3755 in the tests i have seen the megameats lose blades pretty easily.
👏👏👏
Wait, didn’t you JUST say don’t deploy them with your fingers? I feel like HR made you say that, but it’s “do as I say” 😂
Send me some and I’ll test them!
Sevr enters the room....
Sooooo, these are like an improved VIP broadhead?
Now if only I could get them while in stock😢

When do we get the Tanzanian videos?
Is dan infault involved in this. Or is the beast part coincidence
Common bowmar W
Lot's of things thought out in this design... the only thing that makes no sense is the curvature of the blades, it makes no sense for them to be swept back, that just increases the angle of attack, thus increasing edge erosion and drag while it passes through an animal. I would have liked to see this broadhead with straight blades and have them not open quite as far and maintain a maximum of 40 degree angle of attack. Just my two cents...
harvard studied would disagree. its well known and factual crubed blades are superior in every single way. they cut tissue with less energy and stay sharper longer. curbed blades are way better than straight. by all means dont take my word for it. google it yourself. haha
@@BowmarBowhuntingwhat keeps the blades from closing when they go through animals? You push them closed with ease why wouldn’t they just close inside when equal pressure is on the blades?
LUSK archery should test
So how do the blades stay deployed on pass through of the animal if you just close the with your finger tip??? Just need some insight because I’d love to use them in Ohio this year. With starting up our hunting KZhead videos.
Check with Hunting Regulations first. In MN for Deer hunting, It Must ""be of barbless broadhead design"" So MN would not be able to use then to deer hunt. To bad sound like a good broadhead.
Same as here in NY, as well as many states.
they blades fold past 90 degrees if pulled forward so theyre not considered barbed
what? go back to 4 min mark were he say and show you "not to pull backward " this is "barbrd"
Rocks
Don’t see these anywhere to buy on your website
i much prefer broadheads that have simple, cheap, easily replaceable, and readily available bands/o-rings. i also prefer front deploying heads. the thought of having consumable parts, such as springs and tiny, figity parts that you have to order from the manufacturer sounds like a nightmare. i believe swhackers have the lowest in flight profile and least surface area of any broadhead on the market, and they still don't hit EXACTYLY with field points, they are a couple inches off at 40+ yards.
We need lusk to test these. I won't buy them until I see that video.
Edit: John Lusk did do a test video with these. And they tested very well. The only mec. I will use besides sevr now. I want to use these in southern new york. and if they do good, I will use them in Kansas this year.
Blade angle sucks, more tapered and I might consider them.

Do I get a 1 month supply of winstrol with these??😂
haha no thats sold separately lmao!
Too bad the ferrules break so easily.....would be one of the best broadheads if the ferrule was upgraded.
I just find it hard to spend that much on a single use broadhead… I know he says you can use them for multiple animals but only if it stays in them and doesn’t go into the dirt… but isn’t a complete pass through the goal of every hunt?
It's still a mechanical head.. Anything that is mechanical can and will fail to open at some point. It is a good lookin broad head
VPA
Cryo part is a gimmick...at the speed arrows fly....you don't need it
Is their a payment plan involved with this broadhead? Lol
That's not how science works though... Making things colder doesn't change the structure of things
