Great video mate love your work
Cheers mate. I love doing the work 👌😂
Just goes to show you how many large female bull sharks are puping in the river Delta's on east coast Australia, I got ramed by a 10foot bull shark while spear fishing in the nambucca river had my bag of fish tied to my hip and was coming up for a breath and all of a sudden I got ramed in the back of my legs as I hit the surface, My legs got pushed forwards i looked down an was like fuck An seen the bastard swimming back down deep I got straight out of the water It was bloody full grown bull shark dont like spear fishing in the nambucca river any more You should keep some of the small Bully's for flake good eating bro
Holy shit mate glad you survived to recount the tale. That would scare me off most rivers for good as far as swimming goes. Beautiful area Nambucca.
That’s what scares me the most about ever attempting spear fishing in the first place 😅 Beautiful area along that whole stretch of coastline, I’d love to venture down that way for a fish.
Yer mate there just juveniles they won't worry you while you are swimming. But the big females that go up the river to pup will give you a bit of curry. Some of the bulls we see while spearing on the reefs a lot of them you would have a hard time getting them in your boat let alone the net. Keep up the good work 👍
Them big females and bull males out the reef definitely make ya nervous. I don’t think I’d have the balls to do it 😅 Hooked a few out on the reef and they’re just monstrous can’t get em up half the time.
I’d be scared of my bath tube in Australia sooooo no😂
Yeah safe bet you’re gonna come into contact with something toothy in Australian waterways. 😅
Great vid mate, 👌
Thanks mate. Glad you enjoyed it 🤙
@BrisVegasFishing need a outro it finished at a ad all of a sudden...
@@boomboom78oz that’s my bad. 😅 I forgot to put the lil end clip on this one. Good to see you’re watching to the end though 😉
I remember when we were kids in the 80’s someone got attacked 🦈 way up in the fresh of the brissy river🍺🍺
I’ve definitely heard of a few incidents over the years. Even a few cases where livestock have been harmed too.
Yes the horse trainer who was letting his horse swim got a fright when the horse started to panic and he found a big bite on the horse, this was up beyond a dam where bulls can't swim to so they must have been living up there before the dam was built
Any tips for wivenhoe dam or flatty
I’ve never fished Wivenhoe before sorry. I could maybe look at doing a flatty tips video down the track but.
LMFAO bloody Queenslanders
They’ve got a bite about the size of a staffy at that long
😂 love it. You’re so right
seriously man shoveing your fingers in the sharks gills yeah reall smart now its dead
I’m sure you’re a good kid. Keep up the hard work with your channel it’s looking great 👍 I hear your advice but you gotta change the tone. No need for the hate lad 🤙
bro just use wire youl never get snipped and sharks bump feed any way
Is that a threadfin that you tagged? I’m unfamiliar with species in Australia.
We call them threadfin salmon or king salmon over here. They are a very bizarre looking fish but great sport and pull some drag.
@@BrisVegasFishing next time you go shark fishing wrap a little copper wire around the hook. The salt water with different metals making contact produces an electrical field. Sharks can detect it quite well and will hit harder and more often. I’ve caught some around 3 meters long using that method. Where I grew up we get some pretty big ones. Last month they caught and tagged a great white 4.27 meters and weighed 1270 kilos.
The old G town bullies 🎣👍
They match the area 🙊😂
Was this around goodna boat ramp?
Yes mate, not too far from there. But any stretch of the river is great this time of year for sharks
What about double wire trace and quad snerlled full circle 😂😂😂😂
😂😂😂 just start using square hooks instead 😂
@@BrisVegasFishing nah thats just cheating now 🤫😂
What pound leader mate
When I was using mono filament it 70lb Schneider was the best, my wire trace was only a 20lb nylon coated steel trace.
you forgot the go through the second loop with your blood knot....
If I went through the second loop then that makes it a locked blood knot, when you don’t go through the second loop it’s just a regular blood knot (half blood knot)
Try using the right hook and correct gear
I feel like there’s more than one occasion in this vid where I mention using the right gear. 🤔 but thank you for pointing that out anyway👌
where was this?
In the upper reaches of the Brisbane river around river hills stretch.
You ripped the mess his mouth up
the one you lost is now swimming around with a hook and trailing line , i didn't bother watching the rest after 15,47secs
😂😂 it literally bit off at the hook and you do know I’m fishing saltwater, so it’ll rust away very quickly. Either way the fact you clicked and commented on the video is better support and engagement than most people are willing to commit. Thank you so much 🙏🏻
Hahaha no idea….
My gawd u need proper equipment and tackle
Yeah I’m not one to normally chase sharks, so I don’t have any dedicated gear.
Swim in clear water with bull sharks? NO! Swim in muddy water with bull sharks? AWW HELL NAH! And this is from someone who grew up in Louisiana crawfishing in waste deep swamp water with leeches and water moccasins. Bull sharks WILL attack you!
Hahaha definitely not worth the risk 😅
