John Kavanagh is one of the world's best MMA coaches and is one of the main reasons behind UFC star Conor McGregor's worldwide success.
Behind that success is Kavanagh's philosophy for a win or learn mindset.
Mark Bouris unpacks this philosophy and discusses how to approach success faster by accepting and learning to love failure.

  • This is a man who created Conor McGregor. John is super humble. He is also super deep and philosophical. What an amazing person. Why does this only have 8 comments?

  • John knows Conor so well. I hate to see people blaming on John cus of his losses. Yes, he played a part of it. But this is fight game. Sometime a small error will cause the whole fight. And I think Conor is play a big part of his losing. Who knows what exactly… inactive?money?not evolving in skills?not get enough new training partner at SBG? I can go on…

  • So did they just rebrand? Is Alta a rebrand from Wimp to Warrior? Or is it a separate business? If it's a new name, I like it. I've never liked the W2W name. It insinuates anyone who doesn't have any martial arts training is a wimp. It's a little condescending to your target customers.

    • Is it Kavanaghs fault that Mcgregor spends his time in Dubai/Bahamas and all these places? No.. John has shit to do, if Mcgregor doesn’t wanna be in Dublin training, then too bad… that’s not on John… this is on Conor…

    • It’s Mcgregor fault… when he was young he used to always be in Dublin with John after a fight… as soon as he fought floyd, he then started spending time in Spain, Monte Carlo, Dubai, Bahamas, etc… John has other fighters, so it’s not his issue if Mcgregor isn’t there… last thing he has to worry about is if someone shows up or not
