He won K1 grandpix biggest price in kickboxing, heavyweight champion mma in dream and strike force. In pride he was top mma fighter and in the ufc he whas in the rankings top 5/10. He have 67 pro mma fights and 15 kickboxing pro fights. He fougt in mma and kickboxing agianst the wordclass fighters. Here a list he fougt agianst in mma: Victor bellford, Fabricio wedrum, Chuck liddell, Brock lessnar, Mark hunt, Frank Mir etc etc, he won allot of them but also lost some mma fights. Here list agianst kickboxers: Badr Hari, Tyrone spong, Peter Aets, Gokhan saki, Remy Bonjaski and this are world class kickboxers some of this fighters are mulitple K1 winners like peter Aerts and Remy bonjaski✌.

  • people never gave credit to overheem winning the K1 as a mma fighters. Overheem went over to another sport and dominated that sport. Ive seen overheem wayback around 2004 in lightheavyweight a few years later uberheem was born

  • I agree what you’re saying about they should be fighting for the undisputed not interim- but didn’t Juri relinquish the belt? I don’t think he was stripped. I think as long as they believe Jones is going to return, it’s more valuable to keep him as the champ. If he’s going to be out for at least a year then surely he should relinquish the belt

  • I definitely agree with Ariel, for big fights like Sergei Vs. Tom they should have full camps to make the fight the best versus the best at being in tip top shape or atleast having the same amount of time to begin a proper training camp. As Volk should of done a full training camp against Islam, it would of been a more competetive fight without a doubt and possibly Volk may have came out with the W as he should have/ deserved after the first fight.

    • so you are saying with a full camp volk gets immune to a head kick. I love him also, but a short camp can be an excuse only in the last two rounds. You could have a 2 years camp but you would still loose
