  • These people complaining don't realize that they are considered to be a nuisance by certain others and are being trapped.

    • Most of the time it’s people who live in the cities who complain and don’t see the damage and destruction they do to peoples property.

    • Those complaining are in the camp with wanting to run someone else's life, and likely can't run their own very well. It is what they do best, and not very well at that.

  • As a nurse, I truly appreciate the kind words.. and hospice is especially hard on the heart for us at times. And as someone who just enjoys hunting and trapping videos, thank you for all you do. Yes aren't beavers just the cutest little things? You won't think so after the field floods and then your house. Keep getting them, the infrastructure needs people like you!

  • There are times when this knucklehead is at a loss for finding the perfect words of comfort to help another soul and this is one. I know all too well the sadness of saying goodbye to a loved one even though my Faith reminds me that I will see them again in Heaven. The Sting and pain eventually fade with time, but the sadness never really goes away. But we find a way to smile through and with the Tears and our memories tattooed on our Hearts and Souls help keep us warm and grounded as we attempt to help others deal with their loss too. It is not lost on me just how wonderful Hospice Staff help in so many ways.❤ They Become Family! From COW-lumbus, Ohio much Love and Prayers To The YAWT YAWT COMMUINTY MOO 🙏

  • David, I can feel your pain. I lost my father 45 years ago and my mother 35 years ago and I still miss and think of them often especially during holidays and the day of their passing. While writing this it just hit me hard as to how much I miss them still. But like you said, they are in good hands with the man upstairs. 🪽🙏🪽 Here is a little tip to help you with not losing your trap release equipment, spray paint it a fluorescent color that you normally don’t see in nature like hot pink. That way, it will help you spot it if you leave it laying on the ground.

We have 50 acres Ozark Alabama. A family of ferel hogs.....about a 12 in all....solid black in color strolled down my drive way and headed into the woods. I immediately thought of you. I pray there isn't more but I know better. You be careful everyday and God Bless You and your family.

  • David, does it sometimes hurt a bit pushing those thin poles down into the mud? It looks like it might. I wonder if you were to include a steel or even pvc pipe, end cap in with your trapping supplies, when you push the rod into the mud, put the end cap over the end of the rod & it should spread the pressure over a larger area of your palm. Just a thought. I understand about losing' mama. Mine passed going on 6 years ago, after half a year of home hospice & a week of inpatient hospice care. I was her caregiver while she was on home hospice. It was hard watching her deteriorate, but a few years before she got sick & frail, I got her to go to church with & she came to Christ, so I had the comfort of the assurance that she was saved and with Jesus. God bless you and yours, Brother Dave!

The birthdays and anniversaries of the day they passed are always the hardest for me. Much respect to your wife for the work she does. We had to have hospice come in the last month or so for my grandma and they were absolutely amazing. Her nurse was so good at explaining to us what to expect, and look for ahead of time that it made it a little easier when the inevitable did come. She even gave us free rein to adjust her pain meds as we saw fit and we didn’t have to ask her ahead.

  • Brother prayers for you and your family. I lost my mom on April 16th this last year. I will continue to pray for you and please pray for me. She was on hospice care as well I really wish it had been a caring company like yours they were hardly around never could reach anyone and took 4 hours to come and release her after she passed the ambulance and the funeral home both were in disbelief. God bless you brother and keep up the good fight on both fronts I enjoy the Bible reading you do sometimes a lot.
