    • Oh Dear God, I’ve lived with it for 30 yrs. Yes, the sciatica nerve. I just had a Hemilaminectomy, plus they cleaned up my disc at the 4-5 level. Do your research. Read up on the different types. All of my nerve pain is coming back. My legs & hips hurt so bad. And yes, I crawl up steps. Ride the scooters if I can sit. There’s a new surgery out of South Korea. It’s very exciting. My Dr is the Assistant Professor of surgery at University of Cincinnati. He’s excited about this new surgery and they’re trying to get it at U.C. Please read up on artificial discs! You are in my prayers. 🥰🥰🥰🙏🏻🙏🏻🥰🥰🥰 🐖🐖🐖🐖🐖🐖

  • Oh man when I see your pain..it brings back memories when I had sciatica!!!I lived it for eight years..I cleaned 17 residentials and worked 3rd shift in manufacturing….I started with a chiropractor and ended up with an orthopedic doctor….He advised me that he wouldn’t do surgery…so he had me fit with a brace that cinched up and I wore it under my clothes…. Boy did I get relief..It taught me to bend from the knees instead of my back…When I see you in pain it brings back memories of me…..Please use the winch as much as possible….Please take care!!!❤❤❤

    • Hi David, I'm like many others here, I've had back issues for years. One thing I would say is really important, you need to get you a back support brace! Also, get a Good quality ice pack. If you use an ice pack while either sitting or laying flat (only 20 minutes at a time),it can help reduce the swelling in the tissues in your spine that will help with the pain.

    • @@standard5150 Have you tried " minor " changes in and what you do in your life ?? Simple as not using steps/ stairs. Or....standing straight up for hours ?? I milked cows for 45 years..... using/ lifting the old surge bucket milkers weighing over 80 pounds...... visited the chiropractor weekly. In 2016 I quit milking cows. With that I also switched mowing my lawn with rider mower ( it was a bumpy ride ). I started using a pull behind mower pulled with my four wheeler. With in one year my back pain disappeared ! Have not been back to a chiropractor now since 2017. Either my putting my arms over the cows back was causing issues while milking ( to support myself ) or the rider mower was causing the issues. Try the very simple changes in your life. You might be surprised whats causes the pain ! Primary.... get out and get active !

Had to do this with severe sciatica on both sides. Dragging stacks 6crates high has made my back strong. No more being in the floor for 3 days.

  • I spent 10 years trying to get surgery for my back, i almost died from the drugs literally, i asked God to take me, it was so gravely. They kept sending me to orthopedic surgeons, over a ten year span, not one would touch me. I broke free from the loop they had ne in, focused on the exact injury and ended up at a neurosurgeon. A month later i got beat up by a corrupt cop when i tried walking to the bus stop for the first time, 2 years later, im good. I got to take it easy, over the years have learned how important it is to keep my muscle structure in top shape by exercising working out doing little projects. Set back is a month and aspirin and cannabis pull me back around. Rest is so important. So i hope you find your way soon because i lost 10 years of my life trying to get back to it and my family kids work suffered greatly. Most important thing in life is time. No one can ever compensate you for your time you lose. Praying its Gods will for you to get healed. Miracles do happen. Im proof.

    • Sorry David but I don't let hatred and putrid rot slide. 'beat up by a corrupt cop when i tried walking to the bus stop for the first time'. Complying makes all the difference with those that think arguing is what to do. Court is where you argue the matter, not trying to be the one that knows it all and doing it on the streets-or were you cutting other peoples property and arguing it there? Will say I'm glad your back is better, but that's all I'll wish for with a buffet Christian.

    • @@Ray56zwhat is putrid and rotten? Not sure what police you deal with but simply complying isn’t always the best thing to do, most police detain/arrest people on bs laws that they don’t know themselves. Although I do agree court is where u argue the matter that only applies when ur being or have bin charged additionally some people can’t even afford court, so I don’t think it’s ever that simple as just complying. Lastly U definitely sound a lot like a know it all the way u commented, with that being said how would u “know” he’s a buffet Christian?

The procedure is very painful but it seems to be working and it’s supposed to last from six months to one year. I’ve had many procedures where they stick something in my back but it doesn’t work. This procedure seems to be working, let’s see fingers crossed. Ask your doctor about it. It’s not invasive surgery just a twenty minute procedure and it’s painful. My Dr. asked me to watch my language, I told him the alternative is physical.

I know people frown on this, but a heat pad really helps. My pain is not up on my back, instead lower where my sciatica nerve crosses. My son bought from Amazon a heat pad for my car. It plugs into the car where you charge your phone. That is amazing. You need one as much as you travel. Prayers from Southeastern Kentucky.

  • Hey there! As someone nearing 70 and staying fit, I've dealt with chronic back pain my entire life. Pain killers, steroids and surgery aren't the way to go - IMO. Everything you need to know is on KZhead in some form or another - do it all. There is no single stand along answer or solution. Stretching, including Yoga, chiropractic sessions, massages, and regular icing have made a significant difference for me. Investing in quality devices helps - buy them all! A good massage chair (Panasonic or OHCO, not "cost co." junk) can also work wonders. There was a time about 3 years ago when I was like you are now. I've spent around 2 hours a day for 3 weeks in a massage chair, and it got me moving again. Do not let this bring you down!

  • David, we hope you are feeling much better soonest !! Back pain is no joke and women have no idea what real pain is for 99.99% of their lives. But men face it every day when lifting things too heavy for mortal men to lift naturally. When my lower back goes out of place and vertebra tilt to one side, while lifting too much weight, my back will not go back into place by itself ever. So I have to stretch out on the floor and place a chunk of wood under me and try to relax as best I can... that's not easy at all. Later that day, once I am semi-relaxed, I will lay over the end arm rest of the couch and force the vertebra in the opposite direction. Some times this works but not always. Waiting for nature to help put my lower back, back into place is hard and takes to much time. How we set on chairs can make the lower back problem much worse. Thanks for the wild hog videos. Good man !!

  • I’ve been using a 3 foot ,6” round soft density foam roller and it’s changed my life , you lay on it from head to tailbone for 5 minutes to start and them tell me how your back feels, I attend a Pilates session that focuses on foam roller and back ,posture alignment. I can’t believe how much this has helped me ,I’m 69 and I used a sledgehammer for 10 hours ,afterwards I exercised on that roller and I was good to go after that class

  • David, I’ve been a bad back myself for 20+ years. Just watching you, you need to learn a few tricks buddy no, I don’t know how many bags you threw in the back of the truck and how many maybe you dumped out but if you only had a few bags in the truck. You should’ve loaded them to the back so you wouldn’t have to climb up in there on the tailgate open them up and dump some in a 5 gallon bucket and bucket it in there a little time you’re killing yourself. But good for you man so much pain. I know what you’re going through. You still keep cranking out the videos and then wild hog catches. Keep it up buddy and take care.

  • Hi Dave get your self a 6 foot long piece of cloths hanger doweling at one end split the doweling cut it 6 inch peice Out of it put a drywall screw threw so it sticks thew the inside of the place you removed it’s hook so you can pull your corn bags out with out climbing into the truck and works for other things to hook boxes and rope it will help Dave

Up here in the Minnesota tundra we don't have them hog troubles (yet). Take care of that back! I know your pain, after being in the lumber yard business for 20 years I used to have those issues your having all the time. I just got into another line of work and quit lifting stuff, The good Lord will take care of you.

  • David the problem is you're seeing a chiropractor for your condition. Your safest approach would be go to see a spine surgeon. I worked in the medical implant business for 25 years. Chiropractors will not solve this problem they'll just take you money and make you hurt more. You need to see a specialist in disc optomy procedure You have a pinched nerve probably and the only way to relieve it is not by a chiropractor's adjustment. This is a physiological problem and needs to be corrected. Thank you very much keep up the great videos take care of your back man

    • I went to a chiropractor for years and got some relief. But it was covering up the deteriorating disc in my spine. I finally went to an orthopedic and got the spinal shots. Now I am limited on what I can do without further damaging my discs. Take care and be very careful. If you damage the spinal cord it may be all over.

  • I can only comment on my own experience and my observations of you moving. I’ve suffered from back pain over 40 years starting from an accident in the British Army. I had several prolapsed disc events on my L4/L5 disc. Your symptoms appear to be similar to my own, but not as severe. I could only lay on the floor. Many different appointments over the years ending with surgery. My experience afterwards was 75% improvement which was massive. I had several Professors and Surgeons warn me not to go to a Chiropractor as it would result in my condition becoming irreversibly worsened. They carried out many operations correcting Chiropractic errors. I’m not saying they don’t have a place in pain management, but for a prolapse, you need surgery. Rob, Cardiff, Wales 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿
