Cows are so polite. I've seen many videos of them enjoying concerts and they're always in line, quiet, and at a good distance from the orchestra 🐄🐄🐄. They behave better than most humans.

Hate to burst everyone's bubble but cows will do that with pretty much anything theyre not familiar with. Try landing a parachute in a cow paddock - Ive done it twice and not only will they come running shoulder to shoulder like that they will do it at full speed, which is intimidating to say the least. Once youve safely jumped the fence and can talk to them without worrying about being trampled they'll just stand there and listen.

Sure, humans are simply disgusting - they applaude the orchestra and even pay for the entrance tickets.

While hiking in British Columbia I came to a sharp corner in the trail and in a moment I was face to face with a black bear, no more than 10 feet away. Don't know what led me to this decision, but instead of fleeing, I pulled my harmonica out of my pocket, sat down on a log and while staring at my boots and not the bear, played a soft blues tune. The bear stood there listening for a good 30 seconds then turned and climbed up the hill. I couldn't believe what had just happened. A few miles down the road, while playing again, a bird dive bombed my head. Guess it's a matter of taste. Fifty years later this day still amazes me.

Cows sure do love music. When I was a kid in the seventies my uncle had a dairy farm with 80 head. When he went in at 4:30 in the morning the cows would start mooing loudly, until he turned the radio on then they would shut right up. In the winter months when they were inside all the time he would leave the radio on during the day. And if you shut it off anytime during the day they would get mad start mooing until you turned it back on. My cousin had a great singing voice and when the cows were out in the pasture she would sing and they would come running just like in the video. Cows are awesome, much smarter and more soulful than you might expect.

My Russian Blue kitty (now an angel in Heaven), Severus, LOVED my voice. He absolutely loved when I would sing to him. When he was at the end of his life & we were taking to the vet he would be incredibly stressed out in the car. He HATED driving anywhere- he would usually scream and cry the entire time in the car. So I sang whatever song I knew I could from beginning to end. So I sang him Bon Jovi's "Blaze of Glory" and he laid on my lap and gazed up at me with eyes full of love and admiration. Letting him go was the hardest thing I had to do in a long time. But I was happy I could keep him calm when he was already suffering. I miss you Sevy.❤

this brought tears to my eyes seeing that pleasing sound frequencies evoke an emotional response from other creatures as well! And they hear frequencies that we cannot. they spend all their lives listening for the sake of detecting enemies and survival and most animals will never hear sounds like these. Humans used to be like that before we invented rudimentary instruments. what if you could take a band back in time and play for some peoples like say the apache indians. I wonder what those sounds would do to them. Like third eye blind said "those 4 right chords can make me cry". Music (and mathematics) truly are the universal language.

I've always wondered about the "why" of why animals are so attracted to music. I can only speculate, but my guess is that it's because it's a sound they aren't used to hearing in nature, and they have nothing to compare it to. Couple that with their heightened senses, and I can imagine that it quite literally "hits different" for them.

Cows are so polite. I've seen many videos of them enjoying concerts and they're always in line, quiet, and at a good distance from the orchestra 🐄🐄🐄. They behave better than most humans.
Dont eat them
@@Tree-LeaF17 Cows are delicious. Get a clue.

That would be a day not to forget, it may have saved your life, good thinking

Cows sure do love music. When I was a kid in the seventies my uncle had a dairy farm with 80 head. When he went in at 4:30 in the morning the cows would start mooing loudly, until he turned the radio on then they would shut right up. In the winter months when they were inside all the time he would leave the radio on during the day. And if you shut it off anytime during the day they would get mad start mooing until you turned it back on. My cousin had a great singing voice and when the cows were out in the pasture she would sing and they would come running just like in the video. Cows are awesome, much smarter and more soulful than you might expect.
They too have a soul, all life forms do.
And bored out of their minds. Anything new excites them.

I have played guitar and sang for cows. I am a really dicey singer. Funny thing is, when I was on a roll, the cows would be right into it but when I was failing, they would turn away. They were a polite audience but they weren't going to stay around for crap.

I'm facing my 9th spinal surgery in 14 years. I'm near giving-up. But when I watch a beautiful video like this... it reminds me of the beauty that's all around us. I am a life long gigging musician (been playing for 41 years). I have seen many people who enjoyed what I do, but "gigging" for animals looks AWESOME. I especially loved the elephant clips. They seem to enjoy grooving on the music as much as humans do. Wow... what a great video!!!

Always 😢☺️
Thank you for sharing your story with us. I can relate cause I'm a cat lover and, unfortunately, they have shorter lifespan than us. God bless you and your blue angel.❤
Best thing one can do is get another little friend... project allthe love you have and still had into the new pet... so it will live on. I dont know where but i heard that phrase a looong time ago: "EVERY pet that die lovingly in our care will put in a good word for us in the afterlife"

Your story made me cry. I’m so sorry for your loss. Only a Russian Blue owner can know fully the depth, wisdom and sweetness of this breed. I lost my gentle giant Mikael 2 years ago. He ran away and never came back - I know he loved us as deeply as we did him. The hole in my heart will never leave. He was like my son and I feel like I lost my boy.

Hitler loved animals more than humans.
Lets go one step further. People that love all things (other people, babies, animals, being alive, laughter, sunny days, and once in a while, rainy days) are the best people. Loving animals is a great trait, but lets not limit ourselves.
@@thomast8539 I’m willing to bet that most people that love animals share many of those traits too. I know I do.

The girl in the first clip had a lot of fun when the cows started to come around. Cutest little smile ever. The cockatiel singing the man's song was amazing, and the elephants were great dancers. Not bad on the keys, either.
Well, the best part about the cockatiel (and his flutist friend) is that they were playing the Angry Birds theme!

3:54 It's as if the elephant understands and feels what a "beat" is and is swaying to it. It's not just an assortment of pitches and noises to it. It's something that compels it to move. That's pretty amazing.
Please, listen to me, they aren’t dancing. This is a symptom of zoochosis. This animal is in captivity and feels as though it’s in a cage. Here, proof.

this brought tears to my eyes seeing that pleasing sound frequencies evoke an emotional response from other creatures as well! And they hear frequencies that we cannot. they spend all their lives listening for the sake of detecting enemies and survival and most animals will never hear sounds like these.
