Social media users have accused Buckingham Palace of throwing shade at Meghan Markle with the release of a new advert.
The official Instagram account for the Buckingham Palace Shop, which sells royal merchandise, shared a video promoting their strawberry preserve on Wednesday. This advertisement came just a few days after Meghan Markle, who is 42 years old, introduced her own strawberry jam. This was the first product to be launched under her new lifestyle brand, American Riviera Orchard.

For "influence" The King as Prince of Wales sold produce at Highgrove decades ago using products from his Duchy estate in Cornwall, employing dozens of local people. The irony, the palace copies Meghan's ideas and her friends videos to upsell their jam, however, Meghan and Harry are always accused of copying the royal family. The story about King Charles being the 'inventor of jam' coming from Talk Tv was really pathetic and laughable. When Meghan decided to sell jam, they called her disrespectful towards King's and Kate's cancer and said that the timing was wrong, right? Now, the palace copies the same promotion videos as Meghan's friends, but unlike Meghan's case this shows full respect towards the health issues of King Charles and Catherine right? How does the media know that Meghan doesn't also give to charities from her business proceeds and that only King Charles does? She will use the proceeds to sustain her business, her family because they are non working royals and not paid by the tax payers and also, give to charity. The constant negative narrative shows the DOUBLE STANDARDS and how ridiculous is the British media. Meghan has the right to live her life the way she wants, without the constant scrutiny of the British press. 50 jars of jam is easily produced with 40 quarts of berries. 1 row in an average berry patch at the most. It doesm't take that long to make 50 jars of jam and it's very easy to do.

Weeding etc. It's just a family run business who supply a few local businesses and roadside sales. 4 fields. Different sizes too. I doubt H$m have anyplan to produce jam. It's all a farce in mu opinion. It kept their names in the news though and that seems to be what they thrive on.

The Kings jam is moderately priced. I buy Bonne Maman, it costs around what the Kings costs. Bonne Maman helped the Jewish during WWII, I’ll pay more to help them out and what they stand for. I’m thinking about buying some of the Kings Scotland honey.

The King did not have to advertise his products. This is not a competition Meghan, he sells other types of jam as well as chutneys, all made from his organic gardens.
