How do you grow food when you live 7,000 Feet Up On A ROCK Mountain?
We live in the Rock Mountains and let me tell you, they are really rocky where we live. So much so that the soil for growing stuff is very thin and then it's heavy, thick ROCK.
Hope you like the video.
Tell me about how you built your planter boxes.

Hey Girl,,, you need to make another trip up and see the TUNNELS... They are Amazing..
Nice to have a garden tour in the throws of winter 😄 Makes me look forward to spring. 🌷🪻🌷🪻🌷Thanks for sharing!!! Looking forward to new videos💞
First, thanks for watching and such a nice comment. Yes, I'm working hard to get more videos done before we have to start the garden... We'll be planting seeds in the Walipini greenhouse in about 30 days... Stay tuned,, lots more coming.
@@CaptainWingnut Yay!!👍🫶
Damn straight Captain Wingnut, your garden looks great , awesome job team 👏 👍🏻
Thanks for watching and a great compliment.
Pure genius Sir. My Mom and Dad were raised on farms and had good ole Carolina soil to raise crops. As a matter of fact my Grandfathers were so sufficient at farming during the Great Depression the only thing they would run short of was salt. But they would dig into the dirt in the smoke house boil it down and reclaim the salt! Now here you are overcoming what most people would consider hopeless and turned it into a very productive and efficient way to raise crops. Genius! Love your videos.
I really try not to waste people's time with my videos... I try to make them as educational as I can in one respect or another... Wow... boiling the smokehouse dirt for the salt... Amazing. Thanks a ton for watching and a great comment/compliment. CW

Brad, I'm just curious, what's your altitude at there? It looks very nice. And practical.
Our house is exactly 7,000 feet. The garden is almost 20 feet higher up.
@@CaptainWingnut Thanks. I will probably build some. Hi tunnels like you made.
Question Brad, what can you do to bring organic material to your garden.
Hey John, tons of things you can do... Lets do lunch and talk about it or better yet, once the snow melts, come by and I'll show you.
How am I supposed to bend pv/abs pipe across beds less than 3' without breaking them?
