  • Rybakina: the beautiful silent assassin with the Mona Lisa smile. If it was the other players who won the tie break and the match, she will be jumping up and down and screaming to the top of her lungs. Instead she just let out a smile and proceeded to shake hands with Azarenka.

  • Elena Rybakina is looking very determined to play into the WTA AO open final championship against a very well improved player Sabalenka. This is going to be a very exciting game between the two as both players have the firepower and ground strokes. Elena Rybakina showed greater confidence mentally and physically in her game while being humble at the same time. She looked like she had gained more fans in the process. Sit back, relax and enjoy the AO open while these two great players show their abilities to conquer the other for the trophy.

  • As much as I was hoping Vika would win, the WTA needs this, it needs more players like Ryb and Iga to be at the top, gruntless, hyper physical, heavy power, variety, more importance in quality stroke production, and in Rybs case calm almost Terminator like attitude but kind and polite, gracious in defeat or victory rather than the flat power only baseliners that grunt louder than a blender, and grunt louder and longer if they are losing, and if they lose its "OH I only lost cause I made errors" or "I didn't take my chances" even if they had 40+ winners and 6 UFEs.

  • This highlight reel is a sham. I can clearly spot the bias of the team doing the final edit. Rybakina wins the second set comfortably, but the highlights show 6 points that Azarenka won and only 4 that Rybakina won. I've spotted similar bias in a lot of the highlight reels when Djokovic (media's enemy) would face Federer/Nadal (media's favorites). Please produce highlight reels that truly reflect how the match went, and who was in the ascendency.

    @Hammerton32@Hammerton32 Жыл бұрын
    • The big reason Swiatek lost badly to Rybakina was because the match was played during daytime and warm conditions, hence the ball travels faster and since Rybakina hits the ball with such power in her serves and have very flat groundies, Iga did not have much time to put more spin on the ball. However, I do believe that everytime Rybakina plays Iga at the AO Rybakina is going to win because the AO courts are just fast and tailor-made for players like Rybakina. Iga's game, much like her idol Nadal. is more suited to slower courts like clay and the US Open.
