I bascially thought she was "immortal"... She was here during my whole life. Presidents all over the world changed but she always remained the same. She even was a WW2 veteran and know how to repair cars. If the queens car had e.g. engine problems she only had to listen to it and could already determin what the problem was. She was a powerful symbol and showed that even someone as a monarch could stand behind democracy and freedom. If she was able to do it, everyone can do it. May this show us, that a free and peacful world is possible. This death still was a big deal for me, even though I'm a 16 years old kid from Switzerland. She will be remembered as one of the biggest leaders of all time... Forever. But part of the journey is the end. At the same time, her end represents a new beginning. Rest in Peace, Queen. After the long life filled with all these events and moments you have earned it.

I was in my social studies class and my teacher said “my wife just texted me that the queen died.” I said what? And he repeated himself. I broke down crying in class. I am now known as a “queen’s pet.” This death really broke my heart

Over a year later I still sometimes forget that she died. I was in school when my friend told me she died I thought she was talking about the 1st Queen Elizabeth and that she died in this day but then I checked Google and found the truth. Though I myself wasn’t impacted much I still did understand what the uk was going though and it still made a difference in someway in my life because I’m a huge historian and so this aspect of British history has always been something i take into account.

I know she was queen before my grandma was alive, and I remember coming home after school and seeing her watching or reading something about her (yes my grandma lives in my house) and she was sick but my grandma thought she would be fine and I remember her seeing the news that she died and how sad my grandma was, crying. She treated Britain like her children. Bless you Queen Elizabeth, you have made a huge impact in millions of lives.

First hearing the news of the Queens death I was very shocked to hear it because when we were in the car we heard on the radio of how her doctors are concerned of her health. When we got home, she passed away. RIP Queen Elizabeth.
