Logically and realistically, China should start taking out their money out from the US and start selling more of their US bonds and it's USD reserves. Keep it to the most minimal they can. Thus, unless the source for Natural Gas is 1/3 or more less expensive then Natural gas via a pipeline, you will lose money if you opt for LNG over Natural gas via a pipeline.

Maybe somebody already mentioned it here or somewhere else. "Ugl" (in Russian) or "Uhlí" (in my native, also Slavic, language) means "Coal" and "dar" in Slavic languages means "gift", so the meaning of the word is basically to describe the locality as the one which is giving (gifting) the local inhabitants coal (as a gift). Many of these towns and villages in Donbass area are mining towns, thus those names. Another example was the Soledar town - "sol" means "salt", dar again gift - so the town was named, because it was mining town, but not for coal this time, but for salt.

But of course there is precedent when refugees from the USSR were sent back to the USSR by the British to be persecuted by Stalin's communist government. Hi Alex, great commentary as usual. I'm a big fan! I want to add to your point about the ATACMS being potentially easier to intercept than slower-moving subsonic cruise missiles. You are absolutely right to point out that subsonic cruise missiles tend to fly much lower, which makes them more difficult to detect by radars and therefore reduces the likelihood of interception. To reinforce your point, one reason why the ATACMS may be more predictable and easier to shoot down is that it is a tactical ballistic missile, and one that as you point out is supersonic (although still slow compared to most ballistic missiles), but which follows a predictable and highly visible flight trajectory. It *may* be able to able to make very limited manoeuvres in the terminal phase, but this will be very minor compared to a cruise missile of any kind. ATACMS will also not be surface-skimming very much by definition, again making it easy to see coming by radar systems (most of which are line-of-sight based and limited by the earth's curvature). Adding to the fact the ATACMS is slow by ballistic missile standards makes it pretty plausible for the Russians to shoot down the vast majority of them. A supersonic or hypersonic cruise missile on the other hand would be much harder for the Russians (or anyone else) to deal with, especially if they can fly relatively low.
What is wrong with the idea of taking the train from Poland or wherever to Hungary or Serbia. I doubt if either will deport them. But if they want to be doubly safe, fly to Belarus or Russia or one of the Central Asian nations. Even Iran, for God's sake.
These Ukrainians were against Russia. I would not want a snake to move into my house. I have no sympathy for them. They had it privileged in Europe and were even arrogant.

It's interesting to see that the Russians managed to capture at least to have almost total control now of 4 Villages in just one day BUT to appreciate the full debacle with pictures of the Ukrainian Army in those and to see the flags and the smiles of the Russians, it's nice to see the last UTUBE report of HISTORY LEGENDS : It gives a sense of the acceleration of Russian dominance in Donbass and of the collapsing morale of Ukrainian troops expressed in events such as the 115th Ukrainian BRIGADE fleeing as the Russians were approaching Ochoretyne.
A recent update by Ms. Billie Beane referenced the seizure by fbs of a Ukr man involved in trafficking. Anton something, it’s in the vid. Firefight, and arrested along with several others with the remainder terminated in the action. There was a comm tower destroyed in the last few days which was related to certain of these trafficking activities. She is on YT

The speed of the moving line to thecwest is getting to about 6 to 8 km per day At this speed they ukr will not have time to regroup and form a solid line When the line crumbles then there will be a bi directional encirclement move and their eastern armies will be trapped When this happens there is but a couple of light brigades left to defend the main cities which will in turn be encircled and starved out this is classic russian warfare as demonstrated time and again vs the germans Once the game is over then the west will just have to eat humble pie and open up relations as the need the cheap nat gas ..

There's no rumors, the numbers are roughly known and public, and the russian armed forces got a whole chunk bigger since the start of the SMO. The occupation of Finland by NATO and the new NATO border in the north is one of the reasons.
Sorry the Russian military is NOT 2.5 to 3 million actives . Its half of that or less. Even Putin didn't claim 800K in the SMO. He said it was maybe 600K (with probably only two-thirds actually inside Ukraine beyond Crimea). ... At the start of the war the Russian military had a claimed paper strength of around 1 million, but the actual number of bodies in the ranks was 750-800K. Its generally a good idea to distrust ANY facts and figures coming from Moscow without confirmation elsewhere. The Potemkin village mentality is in the water there...
The numbers you are quoting for the SMO and Russian total military manpower are too high and exaggerated. Likely RU active forces currently have only about half or a little over the 2.5 to 3 million total you referenced. On the SMO Putin said 600K engaged in that operation (probably many of them are based in Russia proper or occupied Crimea not Ukraine; doing supporting/air defense/supply etc. tasks).
