  • I only average low 5 on 2x2 but have a 1.5 lucky scramble. So Brody is right in that it's much easier than a 5 second 3x3 solve

  • Optional step 4: learn EG. Optional step 5: learn LEG-1 and TCLL. Optional step 6: learn 1LLS. ... ... ... Optional step 42 (?): learn all 3 milion or so solutions to all possible scrambles.

    • Optimal step 42 is probably not optimal because you have to go through those 3 million permutations, and find the exact solution, without any mistakes, all under 15 seconds of inspection. So probably going to be probably impossible...

  • Do you recommend learning CLL over EG ? Because I´m using EG and I´m curious if CLL is better. Obviously for CLL you only need one alg instead of two but the disadvantage is that you have to build one complete layer instead of just a side. And I think the EG algs are a bit shorter than the CLL algs (but I´m not sure)

  • Thank you so much Brody now i have a unofficial record of 0.53 seconds it was four moves to solve the cube and a 4 move scramble try it out for your self. The scramble is U R' U R. And also the same day I got a scramble that can take 3 moves to solve and it took me 0.38 seconds sadly it was a 3 mover so I did not count as a solve :( . The scramble is R2 U' R' F' R' F U F R2 for the 3 move scramble.

    • ye I faced the same problem a few months ago, I just stopped doing 3x3 and focused on bigger cubes and that helped!

    • @@KailashAnand06 just seams so strange, like your pretty good at 3x3, it took me like half - three quarters of a year to get sub 20, but then being so "slow" at 2x2, while most people in our discord barely average sub 20 and average like 5 at 2x2

  • if you mess up and 2 of the first layer piece are swapped you should use this alg: U R U’ R2 F R2 U’ R’ U’ its easy to do and fast if you practice it but it messes up the top layer
