Pretty cool
JPerm flexing his cube collection and his skills on Michelle is my favorite thing
That's not even close to his full collection, is the best part.
His full collection is somewhere around 250 cubes lol
Too bad he couldn't inject his hopes for Michelle to read Chinese.
Even tried the sexy move 😂
+that 69 is a meme number. Idk why is 69 a meme number it's just his ranking
I had a lot of trouble getting below 1:20 until I spent more time just practicing solving the initial white cross faster, over and over again, without even worrying about the rest. It is by far, the slowest step, for most beginners. Now I know why speed cubers examine the cube for 15 seconds before hand. It's so you can get that white cross solved almost instantly, after that it's pretty much robotic.
I confirm this 💯
yooooo. 3 years with rubiks cubes and I never thought about it, I'm just dumb af. Will do this since now.
@@srguilbi2879 Ok. Your smart ass sarcastic reply was funny, however, there are many beginners who may not have figured out that they need to spend most of their time getting faster at the first step. Whatever. It seems like it's asshole day on the net for some reason.
I’m learning f2l and shit does not feel robotic lol. I’m getting pretty fast once I’ve got a corner and edge chosen, but I spend so much time looking around deciding which colour is best to do next!
@@bencressman6110i did two things to get better at this: 1. really get the f2l algs in your head so you dont have to think at all. I looked at the two pieces then closed my eyes to put them in. 2. Set up a metronome (via yt or Google etc) and try to do one turn per beat. This will bring your look-ahead on another level. Obviously start really slow (e.g. One beat every 2 seconds) and become faster and faster.

@ComradeQBR no timmy is soup
@@campbellthesmug6590 Actually, Soup is Timmy.
blindfolded is insanely difficult. I tried learning it so many times but the memorization messes me up. I solved a 3x3 blindfolded 2 times and the 2 solves took me more than 30 minutes because of the memorization
took me one month to solve one because i would flip letters or messed up the set ups, tho it would be ful to see, after that she would learn 3style
I think she can try 2*2 blindfolded cuz that would lead to a better start than starting on a 3*3
I’m so impressed with Michelle. Her dedication to these challenges is crazy!
This video really changed cubing for me. When I first saw this video I was averaging 1min 40secs, but then seeing Michelle get solves under 1min inspired me to improve. I even got to know J perm through this video and learned CFOP from him. Fast forward 6months now I average 20. I hope to get even better at 3x3 and the other events!

@@fireclutch7292 well, he's still a Cuber.
True.
J Perm's muscle memory is kicking so hard, that when he dry solved the cube at 0:57 he slammed his hands on the table as if he wanted to stop the clock.
No we actually do that on purpose even if there is no timer because the rules are rules
Lol I also do this

This is so awesome! I was a kid in the early 1980's when the Rubik's Cube first became popular in the US. My best solve time was 1:07. I was 12 or 13, I don't quite remember. I've completely forgotten how to solve the Rubik's Cube but I've been inspired to see if I beat my personal best time from over 40 years ago.
Are you seriously gonna do everything interesting to do in the world while you're still alive, inspiring and helping people? I love you so much.
Love love love! ❤️ Amazing work Michelle, your determination is inspiring! Thanks for shining a spotlight on speedcubing too!

I've had students that got sub 90 seconds after a couple weeks, so seeing sub-60 in a week is pretty incredible! I love seeing so great determination and dedication - especially with the Rubik's Cube!
im a student who has gotten sub 30 in 2 weeks
I just learned off of J perms tutorial 2 days ago and I'm sub 120 around now
first time I solved, I was sub 1800😂
Started when i was 6, sub 50 in 2 days
Me who got sub 70 in just 2 days
VERY impressive, and great to see J Perm as a teacher! As newly started, my first timed completion without any aid, was far slower than yours - I came in at 9:19... On day 9, I finally managed a personal best of 1:00'00, so one minute dead on. You took only 7 days to do that - great job!!!
I loved the dedication in this video. It took me about 2-3 days to get a sub 1 min solve and about 3 weeks to get a sub 30. I love how determined you were in taking on a challenge that only 5% of the world can do. Major props to you!

Yeah.... It is .. I got into cubing because of an April fools video.. where this guy was like u just need 10 magic moves to solve the cube and I was like bet... Good job Michelle! I learned how to solve a cube in lets say june 2023 and know im sub-30. I had a cube 11 months before i first learnt how to solve one. Me and my classmates would try countless of youtube tticks but it never worked. I had this one friend that could solve a cube.We would ask him how to solve a cube until we finally learned. He used J perms beginner method and I used it too.Props to him and J perm!
It's so funny to watch J Perm teach Michelle advance moves before even teaching the basics!
I've never solved a Rubik's cube in my life before but I'm always so fascinated by it. After watching this video I kinda want to learn it lol.

Hi
It is always great to see someone learn to cube fast. I don't have magnets in my cubes, and I'm stuck on the 40 second plateau of hell 25 years after learning how to solve one as a teenager.
