Remember that they lost a lot in the West Coast when they were pushed from there, the oil rig blew up, and they lost Navarro. It's quantity over quality at this point, but they'd recover a little with the Hellfire PA, albeit it's in small quantities compared to the Advanced PA Mk2 numbers.

I don't know why, but it always cracked me up to see how he switches his oh so loyal Outcast power armour for the Enclave one. Its almost like he's transforming into an Enclave soldier. If only the others would see him as a threat after the dialogue window ends. His death would be deserved as well. Who gives some measly .556 or grenades for Enclave power armour? Selling that would give you enough caps to buy what he offers a dozen times over. I am glad he got shot in this video.

The other options are given in a value well-worth the armor provided, and the ammo can at least be exchanged in the Pitt for something significantly better, such as 44 or 308 rounds. I'm also fairly certain the grenades are also rather useful in terms of damage output compared to what could be pulled from the ammo, or caps if the armor is in poor condition.

@@Lux-fe6fd Well, I mean yes, if we dive into specifics, "recycling" the armour for other components yields a higher value (in caps) in the long run than just selling the armour, besides, the looted armour is never in full condition, and repairing it can become expensive, depending, and I think there are not many vendors in the game who can fix items to 100% condition I meant this more from a common sense perspective rather than game mechanics, lol. Why would someone receive basic items for ultra rare, high-tech Enclave technology? Even Casdin seems excited when given the armour, and he offers basic crap in exchange.

@@ethanshadley1019 No, the Enclave Advanced Power Armour MK II was a refinement of the original Advanced Power Armour that was derived from the X-01 Power Armour prototype that the US military was developing just before the bombs dropped and seeing that the Enclave IS what's left of the US military they had very easy access to everything and the resources to continue the development after the war.

Btw! this is a fantastic way to test your combat abilties(vs humans) on a finished build agaisnt the toughest enemy, that you have created by giving him the best weapons and armor! of course a squid of enclave soldiers would be a tougher fight, but this has repeatable/testable conditions just be sure to wipe them all out and get your loot back or reload after fighting him before you gave him some of the best items in the whole game

As if tensions between the Outcasts and the east coast BOS weren't bad enough already. Here's an idea, play TTW with the New Vegas faction disguise mechanic. Give all the Outcasts Enclave armor as "salvage" that you found. Then watch as Brotherhood water caravans open fire on the "Enclave" at Fort Independence and voila, all inter-factional conflicts are resolved.

I just did this before watching the video so I could see the reaction in real time while playing. After he donned the armor and helmet I gave him, an Enclave Soldier arrives. Casdin ran up the hill to meet him at the bridge, the Enclave Soldier KILLED Casdin before the other outcasts dispatched the Soldier! Wasnt sure if thats scripted for one to spawn but I saved the game.

casdin is a good option if you didn't speak into barter or if the equipment is damaged because they always give you the same price.

For an advanced suit of power armor from remnants of the old world government, enclave power armor is as durable as wet tissue paper.
headcanon(?) says that the enclave in the east has shittier manufacturing capability and don't have much access to high quality materials. who am i kidding? bethesda prolly just fucking hates the enclave or something so the balancing for the armor is doo-doo.

I’ve heard that enclave armor, and soldiers, are shitty by design so that if/when a player shotguns the main story, the player isn’t decimated because they’re level 5 or less
Remember that they lost a lot in the West Coast when they were pushed from there, the oil rig blew up, and they lost Navarro. It's quantity over quality at this point, but they'd recover a little with the Hellfire PA, albeit it's in small quantities compared to the Advanced PA Mk2 numbers.

I don't know why, but it always cracked me up to see how he switches his oh so loyal Outcast power armour for the Enclave one. Its almost like he's transforming into an Enclave soldier. If only the others would see him as a threat after the dialogue window ends. His death would be deserved as well. Who gives some measly .556 or grenades for Enclave power armour? Selling that would give you enough caps to buy what he offers a dozen times over. I am glad he got shot in this video.
The other options are given in a value well-worth the armor provided, and the ammo can at least be exchanged in the Pitt for something significantly better, such as 44 or 308 rounds. I'm also fairly certain the grenades are also rather useful in terms of damage output compared to what could be pulled from the ammo, or caps if the armor is in poor condition.
Considering the Brotherhood has a reputation for just outright desintegrating people to steal their prewar tech, he's actually being rather generous XD
@@Lux-fe6fd Well, I mean yes, if we dive into specifics, "recycling" the armour for other components yields a higher value (in caps) in the long run than just selling the armour, besides, the looted armour is never in full condition, and repairing it can become expensive, depending, and I think there are not many vendors in the game who can fix items to 100% condition I meant this more from a common sense perspective rather than game mechanics, lol. Why would someone receive basic items for ultra rare, high-tech Enclave technology? Even Casdin seems excited when given the armour, and he offers basic crap in exchange.
Casdin is the leader of the Outcasts, so of all people it would be most justifiable for him to pick the best goodies and use them himself.
I like Protector McGraw, the Outcast leader you meet and help in the Operation Ancorhage DLC. At least he lets us have our pick of the loot after completing the simulation.

That's just one possible explanation that would sound more reasonable from the Brotherhood Outcast's perspective, as opposed to the idea that the Enclave have returned from their defeat.
The Outcasts are aware that the Enclave is about, they just know that Lyons' boys will get the job done. They have some random encounters where they execute Enclave deserters.

@@dynomitejec it’s in an IV bag and I assume it’s supposed to basically be futuristic chemo like carboplatin (chemo meds are made with platinum like the chip ironically) and rad-x is potassium iodide which stops radiation from accumulating in your thyroid

Btw! this is a fantastic way to test your combat abilties(vs humans) on a finished build agaisnt the toughest enemy, that you have created by giving him the best weapons and armor! of course a squid of enclave soldiers would be a tougher fight, but this has repeatable/testable conditions just be sure to wipe them all out and get your loot back or reload after fighting him before you gave him some of the best items in the whole game

Its funny to think of him as taking off his metal pants and putting on the new set he was just given mid-conversation. Its funnier to think of him as stepping out of his mini-mech and soldring on the new parts on his armor frame mid conversation.
As if tensions between the Outcasts and the east coast BOS weren't bad enough already. Here's an idea, play TTW with the New Vegas faction disguise mechanic. Give all the Outcasts Enclave armor as "salvage" that you found. Then watch as Brotherhood water caravans open fire on the "Enclave" at Fort Independence and voila, all inter-factional conflicts are resolved.
