@@KrazyRabb1t New Vegas is a game that I think deserves a redux. Not necessarily a remaster or remake, but something comparable to what 4A Games did for Metro: 2033 - updating the gameplay and graphics while also restoring cut or unused content to bring “the full game” to life.
It was supposed to intimidate your opponents, leaving them at your mercy or making them escape. It does work in some instances.
My idea is that with the perk, enemies that initiate combat with you have a chance to flee, and just not attack you.

There's just something so brilliantly simple about the one with Jean-Baptiste. A lot of these are overdone, too wordy, or are just kind of too edgy to actually sound threatening, but that one? *_"Raise that gun, and I'll kill everyone in here."_* It's short and sweet, I love it. It's like it comes with an artstyle change or a camera shift to show the coldness in the Courier's eyes. Or maybe I'm just overhyping it because of the delivery of the line in my head, I dunno. I still think it's cool, though.
Could also be seen as the Courier has bonded with Cass so much that he is willing to just kill the Van Graffs to keep her alive

There is a mod that makes it so if you have terrifying presence and cut off someone's limb during combat there is a chance of enemies running away

I literally only take this perk for the Vulpes one, when he screams "legionnaires, we have a problem!" it is the perfect start to a great early game fight.

the voice acting in almost every fallout is literally 10/10 feels like real people ordinary people talking sometimes it’s a bit awkward but that’s the magic of it
man, so many of these lines just go hard. "I will cast down your Codex and bask in the dying agony of those who hold it dear." is such a super villain line and it makes me grin uncontrollably. same with "Get in that elevator or i'll make those scars on your face a pleasant memory." that is such absolute evil and it's so gross but also cartoonishly funny. and then my favorite one, "good thing you're wearing a skirt, makes pissing yourself easier."
Terrifying presence is genuinely my favorite perc the dialogue alone is enough for me though it having an actual combat use would be nice In my casual playthroughs I often roleplay it that my character is simply simply too horrific to which ever faction she aposes and that’s why she’s vilified by her foes and and why her allied factions don’t mess with her
Personally, I forgot if the game had one like Ghoulish from 3, but I think if it does, pairing the two should have made people go absolutely insane if you survived a car going off, they see the flames simmering before you, the Courier, stepped out your wounds healing as the gigger counter beeps so fast and loud the enemies could hear it, the healing of your wounds, scorched by atomic fire, showing unharmed flesh as you recover from the damage by the very radiation lingering in the wounds until a second later you stand there unharmed, even your clothes soaked so heavily in your blood, now undamaged and physically unharmed as if the fires only touched you because you WANTED them to... that caused a spark of panic in the enemies before swiftly they no longer saw a man, but a demon of the wastes, an unkillable demon birthed in atomic fire wearing the skin of a man as a joke. They drop their weapons and start begging because they know now, your presence is a death knoll for them, it is just a matter of when...
