Trans athletes are back in the spotlight in a big way in 2024. Following a brief hiatus after the Bud Light and Dylan Mulvaney controversy last year, it seems some large companies haven’t learnt their lesson and are jumping right back on the trans bandwagon to push their woke agenda onto their customers.
Sky News All Stars Rita Panahi, Piers Morgan and Megyn Kelly reveal the companies who are turning their backs on female athletes in favour of trans athletes to front their campaigns.

As a female athlete, Im always in disbelief when a brand dumps a legit female athlete prodigy for a GUY. I will NEVER buy a wetsuit from ripcurl again. Easier said than done. IDK where youre from but in the US most likely they have a full ride sport scholarship, typically to Universities theyd never be able to afford otherwise. If they do anything to get them kicked off the team or these days do something political the Uni doesnt like, their scholarship gets cancelled. Youre asking them to potentially throw away their future here. TLDR easier said than done. I dont put the blame on these girls. Its entirely on the University staff for allowing this.

Problem is, then they automatically hand first place to him, and other women that should have rightfully swam and placed, possibly miss out on future opportunities. It's disheartening that these women often work their entire lives at mastering their skills in sport, only to be short changed by something like this.

I'm Canadian born and raised. The trans man swimming with 13 year old happened about 45 minutes from where I live and when I tried to explain to my parents the day that it was first uncovered and they thought it was impossible.
Fellow Canadian here-- this country is a dystopian shithole. I was recently at an event with my husband and our tween son. The event was predominantly male, no issue here. I'm not uncomfortable around men, I don't believe everything is the evil patriarchy, I teach at a 90%+ male attended uni, and I'm no slouch myself. As a 6'1", 153 pd woman. Im good. I went to a the washroom and closed the main door. So, pants around my ankles, doing my business, a man comes in, starts chastising me for closing the door, and coming into the washroom. I was horrified at his lack of respect and the fact that he thought that he gets to decide my level of privacy in comfort in my space, and I definitely felt threatened. No sense of boundaries. The rest of the event I had my husband, a tall and broad man himself, stand outside the door if I had to use the washroom. I went and bought bear spray and it's now out and primed if I'm going into a women's washroom. You come in, you're a man, don't care how you identify, don't care what you're there for, you get what you get. I'm done with this shit.

If Ripcurl didn’t expect the backlash, Ripcurl doesn’t understand surfing. Bethany Hamilton is one of the most beloved and respected faces of the sport. When she spoke out and said she wasn’t competing because of the WSL ruling on trans athletes, nearly no one questioned her, and many applauded her for being brave enough to stand out…for a reason. When Bethany speaks, the surfing community will listen. Ripcurl clearly doesn’t understand its own market anymore.
I disagree. It isn't just RipCurl, it's many other companies that hear the cries and they think that those voices are the majority & supported by the minority. In fact, "they", those who are trying to disable western societies, are using this as just one more distraction to separate our attention while we are missing the bills & see dee see sneaky snake coming in to take our autonomy. He tied, but got his way anyway. Riley was pissed because she tied a man in a womens division and they chose to give the trophy to the man to "appear more inclusive".
