Well the show deserved it maybe as it is indeed unique, but if you watched all submitted episodes by the ladies then even an acting amateur would see that she is not even close to the power of Laura Linneys performance. @@markostoppel1136 i respectfully disagree. Zendaya's acting in Euphoria is extremely realistic. It is one of the best representations of an addict on-screen. On top of that, it conveys the troubling feelings of a 17 year old, surrounded by events that force them to mature too fast. I felt for the character, and while the writing (at least her character's) has been consistently good, it was her acting that sold me on the show. From the way she portrays internal conflict, and the way she interacts with other characters (especially her fellow actors Hunter Schafer (Jules) and Angus Cloud (Fez), to the gut-wrenching last scene (which is, in part, why they submitted this episode), prove that she deserved this Emmy, among tons of snubbed actors and unworthy winners throughout the years.
Endless Summer Pictures I do not say her acting is bad, I think this show has immense potential and is very unique. However, in comparison to the others I really think they got robbed, I think she will evolve with the show

Rick and Morty won, but at the cost of one of the best episodes in television history (The View from Halfway Down) losing. While I wholeheartedly agree that Rick and Morty's episode is brilliant, I would've still preferred BoJack's to win.

Fun fact: Everyone who participated in the Emmys, there was somebody standing outside of everyone's home, I believe, with a hazmat suit and an Emmy. And if you win, you got to keep the Emmy, and if you did not, they took it. So there was a lovely young woman outside of my house with a hazmat suit, and Darnell, who is like my brother and my assistant, when he heard the news, he grabbed it and ran in with it. So that's how it got there so fast.

Euphoria gutted me. It's such an impactful show, as a survivor of overdose and someone clinically diagnosed with bipolar disorder, the portrayal of this issue is accurate and representative of the challenge. Zendaya truly surprised me with her acting prowess, she was remarkable. Thank you for this story. As much as I love Jodie and Sandra in the Killing Eve, Zendaya deserved this more. Truly, a moving performance that portrayed something so painful and harrowing in the human experience.

I could feel her nervousness but I am so proud of her. The shakiness in her voice highlights how truly happy but also humble she is and it makes me so happy to start seeing more young and humble celebrities like her.
Such a great moment. The nomination was already a victory, and after they won the two crafts awards I had hope. Since my hopes seem to be paying off right now, I hope they can get Hunter a nomination too for whenever the second season eventually happens.

I saw this live last night and had to watch it again. I was so excited ( and surprisingly a little emotional) for Zendaya. Her performance on Euphoria was simply amazing. How can you not love this young lady? Talented, intelligent, humble, stunningly beautiful, and apparently a helluva an actress...the sky is the limit with this force of nature.
