  • his two tour de france wins so far are very interesting in how much they're different: in 2020 he won out of sheer cunningness, and in 2021 he just flat out crushed every single 'rival' of his. a fantastic all rounder both in skills and strategy! can't wait to see what the future has in store for him

  • When he won three stages in vuelta with long range attack and secure podium spot in his debut , this kind of results can only be achieved with extreme talent, therefore I was sure that he may win TDF before it started but after that mechanical mishap where Pogacar lost 1.21 second then the whole game was in favour of Jumbo Visma's team but the performance in ITT was extraordinary and unachievable and the main fact is that Pogacar was full confident that he will take yellow jersey on 20th stage.

  • Tadej Pogačars coach said that the night before the TT they had a talk and decided that since Pogačar had 2nd place cemented he had nothing to lose so they decided to ride without power and heartrate data and just go for it, hey if he blew up he would still finish 2nd. The times he was doing would have been fed through to Primoz and because Pogačar was gaining so much time early on it got inside Primozs head (who would be riding by the numbers as they mostly do on a TT). If you stick to the numbers rather than on RPE sometimes it goes against you.

See 10:41 for the suggestion. Lesson applied not knowing your competitors attributes allows for a more level playing field where team strategies count less than individual prowess on the bikes.
