The walled garden is going to be a picture. From those very first episodes until now......... What a transformation. It's going to be glorious. Can we get a full complete tour if the garden in summer when all is in bloom please,. From when we enter by the gate till right at the back. You can have a tea party inside.

This will be a game changer for her as SHE can then motor out for whatever errands, purchases needed without having to rely on Philip or you Stephanie. *Annnnnd.....she can now also meet up with that 'nice Frenchman' as she put it in a couple videos ago for coffee or a stroll.* I just absolutely adore her...she is such a sweet and happy presence - A VALUABLE presence at LaLande. And by her own words now feels more "settled". She's blooming right along with spring season and seems very happy.

Second lovely walk I’ve been on this evening, earlier I went through the woods with Sadie Petherick, two miniature ponies, two dogs, Mo and Michael’s pig. I’m getting so much exercise 😂

Ruby is indeed beautiful and always a pleasure to see on camera.
On the paint colour, the talented restorers must paint so that their work is invisible. They claim no credit in the finished result so I find this heroic. They work entirely in camouflage. Their work must not be detected. So clever to fill in gaps that don't draw any attention to the work whatsoever and yet they tie the entire piece together ultimately. 🤩

Idyllic morning walk (the piano music a plus: so restful). Kirstie's garden work wonderful, as always. The ornamental pear tree!! It's quite bloomful, haha! I just read that they grow 30 to 50 feet high x 20 to 30 feet wide!!!! That's a staggering thought. So happy for Marie's car purchase. A car is new-found freedom, and a mile marker in a young person's life. Good for her!! Always love to see the chapel progress too. Thank you for another lovely glimpse into life at LaLonde.

The restorers are doing a fantastic job of it all and it has been very interesting watching them restore and that they are willing to let us watch them and that they are willing to explain what they are doing and the procedures.

The garden is looking beautiful. Please consider a focal point on the other side of the gazebo ... an axis point from the garden gate through the gazebo to the far wall. A statue by the far wall would be stunning, but needs a green background.

Stephanie is very allergic to cats. Kirsty and Marie pet him when he wants. ❤ Stephanie feeds him treats when she can. He is fat and happy, as you can see.
@@marygoodson4920 Yes, it would be nice for more caught on film of Ruby being given love and petting, she seems a bit left out of the affection, at least on film anyway. I do remember seeing her get some attention from Marie and Kirsty, she rarely makes it into the videos.
