I have a 2016 Smart Passion ForTwo and love it a lot. After seeing this I can only think: Put a seatbelt in it and keep the self driving but for personal use and you have a sale here.

Beautiful machine, in a city with loads of space. Where parking is very limited, i.e. most cities, it would permit more cars in a given area if they were accessed from the front, or back. Parked front in, with the front of the vehicle lifting up, they could be parked side by side with minimal clearance. Safer too.
Also, they don't need to be parked at all. It's not going to wait for you when it drops you off, it's going to go pick someone else up. A city with no need for parking would be quite nice.
