What a weekend from Yuki!!! I'm interested to see what he can do next year! He is soo young and there is potential there.
People have unfairly written him off like hes been there for years. He's shown that the only thing he's lacking is experience
Right? He's got the pace and he just needs more experience, i always hate that people are comparing him with gasly because comparing a rookie with a driver in his 4th year (gasly) is just wrong in the first place, i'm sure he'll fighting toe to toe with him during the last half of the next season
People also forget that while Gasly competed in gp2 for 3 years, Yuki has only competed in f3, f2 for a year each Yeah, he was 3rd in the f2 championship in his debut year and still people bash him by comparing him with Gasly
such a shame he went wide on his first lap! he would've been p6 with the time he set, ahead of bottas!
Oh, so people getting annoyed that an inexperienced driver taking up a spot that could have been given to a more experienced, mature with decent pace driver as well is wrong? You guys are being fanboys right now. While I think Tsunoda is much faster than Gasly, he had shown impatience many times that caused him in the race or qualifying. Maldonado was very fast as well, but then do people remember his pace or his reckless driving? I hope Tsunoda gets better, and I think he will, but dismissing legitimate criticism is pretty ridiculous. Also, don’t forget that Max, Vettel, Hamilton and many others hit the ground running. That’s the expectation placed upon a rapidly promoted driver. If you can jump formulas like that, you are expected to be a superstar in the making.
I feel honoured to be alive to see this epic battle undergoing in front of me. May the best man win.

We are man, I always watched F1 with my grandpa, we were always cheering on Verstappen, but he passed away last year the day before the Bahrain GP. I’m of course still sad for many, many reasons but also for that he couldn’t witness this amazing season

@@Jacobbunt honda is trying stuff with their engine on the alpha tauris so they can use their findings on the red Bull. Probably tsunoda and gasly got a decent pace upgrade these couple of gp's. Nevertheless very nice final races for tsunoda and ofcourse gasly has been phenominal in the alpha this year. Would be interesting to see how they evolve next year.

im more worried about Perez and Hamilton, perez on soft could be quicker then Hamilton on medium towards the start. i think they are gonna clash, wheelbanging or crash. Verstappen wants to stay out of trouble and Bottas can't take verstappen out now, so he is no threath at the start.

ye that was cringey. i've seen lewis dip his nose into corners, going sideways in funky overtakes, dozens of times.
He doesn't mean only sideways or only forward. He means if you want to accelerate forward as fast as possible then you need to make sure there is no sideways acceleration using up the traction budget of your tires. It's not inherently as simple as you think

Norris on the softs could well be ahead of Hamilton into T1. This is going to be a spicy race, shame this season has to end.
Just remember the billionares also have to recive christmas toys , so they have something new to show us normal earthlings.
Maybe not t1 as it’s too short a run but the two straights after Lewis might be a sitting duck. Then again Lewis was still faster on mediums when Norris was on softs.

Seems like a master strategy from RB to give Max a tow with Checo. But then you realize his second run in Q3 was on par, if not better than the first, but without a tow, up until he abandoned it.

Unfortunately I fear that it might be over for Max because of that lockup that ruined his medium tyres, he starts on soft which means 2 pitstops which mean losing 25 seconds at the minimum on Hamilton... I swear if he loses the championship because of a little lockup that ruined his only set of medium in q2 I honestly can't believe it, between this and the amount of unlucky races in the first half of the season, he should be 60 points ahead by now it's almost sad, he deserves to be champion

@@mordor1779 nah mate relax, remember a 2 stopper can be more beneficial than a 1 stopper. Look back at hungary 2019, france 2021. You can close a gap of 25 seconds in 15-20 laps with fresh tyres. He is at an advantage at the start and he is faster on race pace (data confirms this). So he can pull a gap on him during his first stint and because he is on a 2 stop he can basically push all the time. If he drives cleanly and passionately as we know him, he will take this home for us.

I'm not an F1 fanatic and my interest in the sport is minimal but this title race has definitely engaged my interest and I know plenty more like me on the same boat. The side stories and psychological battles taking place off track have been intriguing and the fact it's a winner takes all for a world championship will only benefit the sport regardless of result and it's a great showcase for F1.

I would put that down to his team putting him out on track at a bad time if it keeps happening as often as it does. Q1 is never great because all twenty cars (potentially) are out. I would love to see the Aston Martins do well next year.
