  • The truth has always been Jake's an entertainer, he's more so good enough to beat most guys he's facing, but he's no prospect. He'll never be a top pro nor was he or other influencers even top-level amateur boxers. So, the whole niche it's something built off an idea that is somewhere they have created to get a lot of money from the boxing world when neither the main attraction nor its rivals don't have the true level to really deserve the money they receive for their given level of ability. Jake definitely stacks the deck in his favor in regard to his competition and so do most beginning pro boxers, though, the thing is he's not a true pro. This is the circus level of boxer space. Jake makes sure his opposition are not boxers, they're old and broken down and that have fought mostly in smaller weight classes. Even though, he does this it is still the other person's responsibility to understand what is happening and accept it and think of it more as financial opportunity. Nate is funny he tries to convince people he's this great boxer in MMA. Or that that he was trying to be a boxer until he got a UFC contract, oh, please he would have between 20+ or 30 + losses in boxing. He's always been sloppy with punches, he's a slappy puncher that literally overextends and doesn't turn over his shots. He literally falls into his shots rendering them less effective and powerful. His footwork is nonexistent, and his defense has always been lackluster, and he's always been very hittable and really slow. He literally depends on his opponents being dead tired, arm weary and punching themselves out in order to even start doing anything with his pitter patter punches. Diaz is more so a survivor of getting pieced up and being a punching bag. Always trying to out cardio his opponents to mount an offense and hope to pull out the victory when time is nearly expired. He's not a fast twitch nor explosive guy, he's guy trying to be there in moments when you want to rest. Generally, he wants to have a 45 minute to an hour fight in a match with a 25- and 30-minute time limit. It doesn't work, having the energy to make it last that long is silly. What good is that type of cardio you have to beat people up and possibly finish them in the allotted time. No excuses of needing more time and what if fantasy scenarios that people need to invent so they can proclaim Diaz was just a step away or that he really won. Even when he can be down multiple rounds with some being scored 10-8 from onslaughts and knockdowns. Yes, Jake is not great as a boxer, though, he never was going to be or supposed to be. Jake has a lot of holes, but this is the circus level attraction not tried and true boxing.

If you feint Jake he gets lost. He had a perfect opponent that stands in front of him. Fought 1 guy with boxing experience & lost. Tells you everything. Fury isn’t good. Every time he feinted Jake was clueless. If Jake just calls himself an influencer boxer that’s fine. But he’s not a fkn pro. Mma media needs stop pushing that narrative. Now he's saying the fight was awful and it wasn't come on man, tbh Jake had the most explosive shots in the beginning but from round 3 and up Diaz started to walk Jake down and wear on him. Just because Diaz didn't get the knoc down or have the most explosive beginning doesn't mean he lost or the fight was awful Eddie. The judges gave it to Paul on behalf of the knoc down, and a hard beginning, Diaz landed waaaayy more punches and if u go back and watch he was landing some bangers on the inside. The diaz bros never was known for having crazy power, they do have a legendary gas tank and heart that u can't teach a fighter. Like a good American pitbull terrier aka Bull and terrier UK name for it. The fight was damn sure good of course it could've been a lil better especially on Diaz behalf I think if Diaz would've pumped the jab a lil bit more and close in like he did a few rounds earlier he could've got that fight and may even avoided the knoc down

    • @@hotfunyunsop6196 They don't work together, but they've made fights together. I'm pretty sure he praised the fact that Paul was giving boxers opportunities in this interview. Hearn's praised Jake's ability to promote himself many times. He has absolutely has said positive things about Jake Paul. But from a boxing perspective there really isn't a huge amount to praise. Paul vs retired MMA fighters is very low level boxing. What do you want people who put on championship level boxing events to say? I don't get why being objective on Jake Paul's boxing skills all of a sudden is 'hate'.

  • I've watched boxing for around 20 years on/off, I was very surprised by just how entertaining the Nate Jake bout was. I was very entertained, I reckon the event did boxing a solid, introducing a bunch of new fans into the game, many who may now suddenly be very interested in the levels of skill involved. As for the fight, no one was expecting a showcase, it was the KZheadr in his 6th match vs the ufc fighter in his first, we ended getting 10 rounds of fun. Nate doesn't deserve any hate, I never heard him go around making any claims throughout this whole saga, he just did his work and respected the game but it reminds me when Conor boxed, the disrespect he got from the community. Always fun to see Nate.
