  • I have been on a Dimash reaction binge the whole night and I have to say of all the reactors, Tara is the most knowledgeable and articulate about singing by far. I was able to even learn a couple of things about singing just from watching her videos. That is definitely a sign of a great teacher.

  • I realize that I am late to the party. I only discovered Dimash two days ago, after passing over his videos until now. I figured he was simply the latest "pop sensation", and I have not much interest in pop music. That being said, Dimash held that last note for a full 19 seconds. Someone explained on another person's page the different elements of the song. There are three sections. In the first and longest, Dimash is addressing the audience, describing his dream-like love. In the middle section, Dimash lives the dream. Notice he disengages from the audience; his eyes are closed, then he opens them and looks up. The audience has ceased to exist for him. In the final section, he wakes, notices the audience again, then tells them how the dream made him feel. Which is energized!

I love you so like once in life As if there was no sun before us. You've taken me away of anxiety and quarrels. And found the keys of happiness for me. Found them for me. This love, this very dream-like love A crystal-clear chime of hearts And your miraculous “I love” Repeat I will with faint echo This love, this very dream-like love Has made my home full of happiness. In spite of laws of dreaming May not this love come to an end I do forgive the Loneliness and Sadness You’ve said they will be never back It takes place only while sweet dreams But our love exists here and now I do hope to avoid the loosing of myself into your eyes I hope, we won’t change our love for loneliness. I’ve deserved the pleasure of being by your side With impossible price and my own dreams. I’ve deserved the pleasure of being with you forever, Being with you forever. This love, this very dream-like love A crystal-clear chime of hearts And your miraculous “I love” Repeat I will with faint echo This love, this very dream-like love Has made my home full of happiness. It's like acrobatic rock and roll and tango. Rock and roll is wow, stunning, but I can only admire it. But tango is the story itself, intimacy. • And yet a third comment by me. Had to share a performance of Dimash, 2018 in Moscow, at concert called New Wave I believe. There are at least 4 vids out there of this performance and another he did the following night: 3 are fancams and one produced. This song was originally entitled: Ascolta la Voce but before this concert was changed by Igor, it's composer, and retitled: Know. Igor also rearranged the song for Dimash.... he originally composed it for Lara Fabian, who wrote the lyrics. I picked this Fancam vid because the sound is good and it displays Dimash being the most creative with the melodic non lyrical parts of the song... and because it has the lyrics. He goes to a mystical place with all the middle eastern melisma here... your soul will stop, and turn around and around to discover where that mesmerizing rouge siren's song emanates from and how it managed to slither past your inner defenses. Perhaps you could have one your coaches listen to it first and let you know if what I say is true or not. Here's the link... and thanks much for your time and effort... : kzhead.info/sun/isdxfMWKnHuXgqM/bejne.html If nothing else, just listen to it for your own edification and soul's nourishment... and a good eve to you...

  • This is my favorite performance by Dimash, and I love them all, beginning with the epic "SOS" at the "Singer" competition in 2017. But this song is so beautifully and masterfully done from beginning to end! And the "Ave Maria" portion is almost an out of body experience, so smooth you wonder if it is really even coming from his mouth! Thank you for your reaction and analysis, which just confirms for us non-experts Dimash's greatness and exceptional talent! :-)

  • After hearing so much music throughout my life, even the "greats" that have held up over time, I still don't feel like there has been a single person who has ever gotten to this level of talent. Serious question: do you think that there will ever be another talent within our lifetimes who will achieve this level of mastery? It seems like he is a once in history level of singer. I think the only reason he hasn't made as big of a global impact as someone like Michael Jackson, for instance, is simply an accident of his birth place. I think a lot of his skill is simply beyond the understanding of most normal people out there. It takes something truly unique to surprise people who teach singing for a living, and Dimash consistently does this - not just to you but everyone else who has an actual understanding of the technique involved.

    • This is one of the best questions brought up regarding Dimash. The comment regarding his skill /understanding by the non singers/normal people is so right on.

      @terrymayling5764@terrymayling57645 жыл бұрын
    • Well, to be honest. First of all I think that people without a deep going passion for music just don't get how insanely good Dimash is. Second, I don't think his place of birth matters since he is immense popular in China (do not forget china has a population of more than 1.3 Billion (1.300.000.000) where as the USA 'only' has 327.000.000). We don't think Dimash has an impact in the western world, but ask that question to a Chinese and he will say that it did over there.

  • OMG!! Guys, back in the day as a drummer, I played in front of countless thousands. But... One of my finest moments was in the studio. A young lady found my song book and said "who wrote all this"? My reply was " I did." she said, but you're the drummer." She said. Yea but... So I preceded to pick up a guitar, plug it in and make two girls cry in about 10 minutes. WHY am I telling you this? 'Cause THIS dude does that EVERY NIGHT he performs times 1000's! Over! What an A - hole!!! Just kidding! Of my THIRTY SEVEN years playing and performing music... I've NEVER heard anything to equal the vocals of this guy! Believe me. I've heard em ALL! Can"t wait to buy his 1st CD!
